Return XT1032 to 4.4.4 Stock. - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I, I have a XT1032 from claro Honduras, ITs in 5.1 GPE. I have a little problem, the sim unlock code doesnt work and I tried from 3 different places Including directly from motorola and everyone gave me the same code, so Maybe my problem is the ROM. I downloaded fastboot_falcon_amxar_user_4.4.2_KXB20.9-1.10-1.9_7_release-keys-cid12-AmericaMovil_AR.tar.gz
But cant get flashed, gave me some errors. any idea to return stock CLaro Rom??

:( Moto G Australia Version Kitkat failure

Bad news!!
I was so eager to update to Kitkat for my Australian Version Moto G, then I forgot to backup my stock rom before flashing the CM11~ Following the instruction, I have flashed the Modem for 4.4.2 as well. However, The SIM card cannot get reception, and while searching for the operator, it popped out that "your sim card does not allow a connection to this network".
When I am trying to flash back the 4.3 modem back to my device, it said that "this is for xt1033, and this device is xt1032"。。。
Is there anyway that I can get back????
Looking for help......

decompress this and run the flash-all script in fastboot.
Blur_Version.14.85.4.falcon_umtsds.AsiaRetail.en.03

will return you to total stock. then you should be able to OTA update to kitkat as well as it was just released for the XT1033

Moto G Telus/Koodo version - unable to flash non-Telus version

Hello,
For the better part of this evening I have been trying to flash Telus Moto G with a different ROM. I even unlocked the bootloader, but to no avail.
I keep getting the following errors when trying to flash bootloader, recovery and system:
hab check failed for boot
hab check failed for recovery
invalid PIV signed system image
(when trying to flash a ROM with three sparsechunks, sparsechunk.0 gives the error, two remaining flash correctly, the phone boots, but the phone is unusable (most of the menus and stuff is just not there)
I have tried GPE, same thing (wouldn't even boot).
Only thing that always works is flashing Telus firmware.
Is there ANY way to bypass this limitation?
Please help me!
same for me bro. I tried US retail and it didnt work. I didnt unlock bootloader so I went back to the telus one.
I dont get why you cant get it in if you unlock bootloader
anyways, I doubt there is a difference between these stock rooms. just saying..
There is a fundamental difference in that Telus version only has a few system languages, and doesn't have the ones I need.
could you root it, install cwm and than install custom rom?
Yes, I've finally managed to flash CWM and Cyanogenmod. Thanks for the tips!

Sweet! Good to hear.
Anyone found a way to install non-Telus stock FW or GPE on a Telus Moto G in the meantime? It appears Moto G losdt CM support, so I would like to get back to stock - but Telus version is not acceptable.

I've tried flashing the US and GB retail with no success. The result of the effort was a loss of radio antenna with no network connection. Flashing the Telus firmware repaired the antenna issue with no errors when flashing all the files. The issue seems to be the bootloader and leaves me wondering if it needs to be unlocked. I'm not desperate to have a retail version that I'm willing to void the warranty by unlocking the bootloader.

Reflashing firmware - what about simlock?

Hello, so I'm currently rocking stock tesco UK firmware, have sim-unlocked the phone legally, but I'd like to reinstall the system (because of couple of software bugs). If I flash it, will the phone re-lock sim too?
And what's the difference between tesco and UK retail firmware?

It won't get sim-locked if you flash it, the sim lock data is located on a special partition, that you can't really modify.
There are virtually no differences between those two.
Thank you! And does anyone can tell the difference between retail and tesco build?
Tesco built firmware is managed by tesco and are dedicated to services from Tesco whereas Retail build means a common built which are not modified by service providers.
So there are no actual differences in the firmware then, ok.
Correct if I'm wrong then, but basically, when you flash a GPE firmware over a retail or tesco moto g, this basically makes it the same as GPE phone? OTA updates and all?
Most importantly - do I have to unlock the bootloader in order to flash GPE rom on non-gpe Moto G?

Dual sim without works

Hello I'm from Brazil and I know more strange practically almost all the motorola handset is happening this problem mine and the XT1033 Dual SIM! I was in lollipop 5.0.2 and decided to return to the kitkat to do this was to have downgraded and who's doing downgrade ta having this problem, I have done everything, installed custom rom, hard reset, IMEI IS NOT LOCKED AT FREE! Flashing Stock Firmware

Hi,
I'm giving my old Moto G to my brother, so I need to remove root and install stock firmware, as the sim unlock code does not work on the custom firmware. I can easily install the stock 5.1 lollipop EU rom, but then when I try to install the stock firmware (I'm pretty sure it's O2, but I've tried both O2 firmware as well as the Retail GB) it gets stuck on the bootloader unlocked screen. It's still there after ~30 minutes, so I'm fairly certain that it's crashing.
Does anybody know what's going on, or potentially have any fixes? There are no errors when flashing the firmware, and I've triple checked that I've got the correct firmware version.
Thanks.
