Two storage devices via USB otg. - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I'm trying something that I haven't tried before..
Two storage devices via our bacons USB otg..
I connected the USB otg cable to a USB ports extender and connected a mouse and one pendrive.. Worked.. Both the devices worked.. No external power source..
Now coming to two storage devices.. I am able to see only one. The first one connected to the phone.. However, I'm not able to see the second device..
But, when I remove the second storage device without unmounting, the error shows that I unmounted a storage device without unmounting.. Now, that's funny coz my device actually detected the second storage device. But I'm not sure how to access files in it..
Any help will be great..
Here's a picture of what I've been using...

The mouse and USB storage combo works, 2x USB storage devices, I'm able to access the files via the first one connected but not the second device.
But while removing the second device, the error pops up telling that I removed a device without unmounting.. Which means its detecting both the storage devices. But the question is how to access both the devices???
Thanks,

Found the solution... Use stick mount by chain fire.. Both the storage devices are visible...
Mods please close this thread..
Thank you..

This should solve the usb driver problem. Get Samsung Kies Mini
it comes with usb drivers which work just fine.
Before you install this, make sure that any other samsung usb drivers
are completely uninstalled and your usb cable unplugged.
Then restart the computer before you start the installation process.
After you install it, be sure to restart the computer with the samsung
usb cable unplugged and plug it back in after windows is fully started
and ready to go.

[Q] ATT HTC One X stuck in TWRP and Bootloader

Good afternoon guys, sorry if i have a bad english i will try to do my best
i need help with my htc one x from at&t, i get it last friday and root it, then i unlocked the bootloader but when i try to install a custom rom(Clean ROM) something went wrong, i tried to restore my back up copy but accidentally wiped it while triying to wipe de other stuff.
Now im stuck in the TWRP recovery and the bootloader, PC doesn't detect the device as a usb storage, i also tried to flash another rom using adb push and adb sideload, maybe i made a mistake or something, i hope you can help me.
Also i want to know wich are the correct drivers for Windows to detect properly the phone as a mount usb on TWRP.
Thanks
What happens when you mount usb storage through the TWRP menu?

Nothing shows up on my computer or any of the others I've tried it with today. And I've swapped over USB cables to make sure it wasn't that.
I'm assuming it's either some deep low level issue with USB connectivity or a hardware problem on my phone like a bent pin.

Never mind, I modded it and this is no longer a concern;

One S says USB storage is damaged, but its not.

My One S (S4 tmob.de, s-on, no root, latest firmware) all of sudden stopped reading my pendrive. It says it is damaged. Pendrive works fine, no problems, i ran chkdsk on it, reformatted it a few times(FAT32, 16gb pendrive). Other pendrives work, but this one wont anymore.
Any ideas?

Normal USB 2.0 Flash Drive connected to my phone through USB OTG cable. I dont know why i didnt mention that..
OK, i finally found someone with USB HOST, and his phone gave option to reformat my pendrive, and now it works. (my phone didnt give me option to reformat..)
I am quite confused, cause it got formatted into FAT32, which it arleady was... but whatever, IT WORKS!

Making my phone act like a USB device

I was wondering if it's possible to have my phone 'act' like a flash drive.
By that, I mean that when I plug it into the computer, the phone won't connect as a phone (which would show the internal storage card, and external storage card), instead it will just show the external sd card as a new flash drive..
I really don't know how to explain it properly, so I thought I would use some images:
This is what happens when I plug my phone into my computer at the moment:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then you double click on that and you're taken to the two options through the phone:
However, what I want it to do is the same as when I connect my USB, it just shows a new drive:
I think it's a matter of being able to enable 'Mass storage' on the phone (which I can do, as I'm running Cyanogen Mod 11), but it doesn't seem to work, as the drive in inaccessible when it's enabled..
Is there a 3rd party app, Xposed module, anything, that I can use to get this functionality that I'm after?
Thanks,
Denno
In case you're wondering, this is why I want it:
I have been trying to figure out how to connect my phone to my car stereo without relying on the 3.5mm headphone jack attachment (which doesn't give the best audio quality). I've tried to connect the USB adapter, but the head unit always shows up with "Device Error". I think the reason is that it's not seeing a single drive, but instead a "phone" that has 2 drives, and the head unit doesn't know how to handle it, so it just throws an error. I reckon that if I can get the phone to just straight up offer the SD card and nothing else when USB data is connected, then the head unit will be able to read the music that is on my external sd card.

Galaxy S7

Have a Galaxy S7 and every time I connect to my car I get this message. Please see attached. How do I make this stop coming up? Really aggravating...

First of all, if you are using an OS X device (Mac), make sure you have the proper drivers for the S7 installed on your device. If you are using a Windows device, make sure you have the proper adb drivers and the usb drivers for the S7. Otherwise, that error message would persist.
Good luck
I'm confused this is when I connect it to my car with the charging cable...
I get that, too, in my Chevy Silverado. The nav console in my truck my be Apple (IOS) or Windows CE based. Not sure which. Oddly enough it didn't do that originally. Not sure when it started.
This is the msg when you connect to a your car with USB cable right? You can change the settings what happens when you connect to a USB cable. GS7 has the switch app pre loaded which helps move data, settings from the older phone maybe uninstalling it will help. I had the same error when I connect my GS7 to my cars USB port for charging.

For me, yes when using USB cable. Bluetooth is fine, though...
