[Q] Buying NS outside of US and UK

I live in europe, but not in UK. Does anyone have ideas about how I should get my hands on the Nexus S, when it becomes available?
Any thoughts are most welcome

1. Best Buy + delivery service like http://www.aramex.com/shopandship/default.aspx
2. eBay. Prices are about $730 now, I'd wait a bit.
3. Wait for somebody local to import a load of phones and sell on at higher price.

Please inform us if you will recieve a phone ..
A lot of friends bought iPhone 4 in Apple store in other country and they recieved it via freight forwarders. It would be strange if Nexus S can be bought in this way, because they will only lower their sales.

According to this review, it will be available in EU in February and it will have lower price than Galaxy S i9000:

Huh. Disappointing, and smells of politics
Well, if BB don't want my money, then I will happily take it elsewhere. There might be an initial rush, but come January it will not be difficult to get one online, no matter where you live. Well, perhaps if you're on the ISS.

I think you can use site like MyUSABox (http://www.myusabox.com/), but personally I don't have experience with it. Don't know if anyone can comment about the site

I live in Greece....so if i am gonna buy it from ebay (US) does it comes with comes with one year warranty?...and after how many months do you think it will be sold in ebay (US) in the same price it is sold in US market (530$)?

What if Best Buy dun accept non-US credit card.....

Seems pretty unlikely.
I'm pretty sure they are unable to block credit cards by country.
If your credit card belongs to an established network (Visa or Mastercard for example), the payment should go through smoothly.
I'll be placing an order as soon as the Nexus S is in stock at best-buy.com, I'll keep you guys posted regarding the payment.

I find no mention of warranty anywhere at all at Google, eBay or Best Buy. US warranties tend to be short, so I'd guess a phone sold in Greece would have a longer warranty, but at a higher price.

That will probably never happen. If you could buy loads of stuff somewhere at $530, would you sell them on eBay at the same price?

The Nexus S will ship to NY, a friend of mine will then forward me the parcel to France.

i am from europe/austria and noticed that the phones a very cheap in the US, so i plan to buy my next phone (Nexus Prime) in the US, but i don't know where? BestBuy sounds good, but they don't ship international
Please help

Should not be a problem, most times it ends up on ebay before it even gets released! (leaked) or presales are common on ebay now..

The Mate 7 I orders from Amazon.fr is to be delivered today by Citylink in UK. About EUR 475 including postage

I just ordered this week from eBay UK - £299.99 including postage.
Shipped from Hong Kong, though - should arrive next week.

I saw that too. For £350 you can get a European model from amazon.fr
The price just dropped! Let me know if you have any issues with the Chinese handset. Good price.

From china ebay customs Will charge you. Better to go with amazon but think it's only the 2gb model. Prob won't need any more.

Ok. My LG G2 I got imported got unwrapped by customs then sent to me and I got a £70 bill! I guess I was unlucky

That was not properly shipped. As of the situation in our store, we attach an invoice statement along with the shipment. For smartphones, DHL will clear the custom using the prepared statement and we hear no delay/VAT ever, except for one country that the custom stops every single EXPRESS shipment, per law of that country.
Just some hints for your future online purchase.

I just saw this phone and was taken by the design and size of the phone. Specs aren't quite note 4 or nexus 6 but sure looks better. I bought oppo find 7 but after few weeks was quite dissapointed due to touch issues poor ui and camera, I don't fancy making the same mistake.
I'm in the uk where is the best place to buy and will it work on ee 4g? It's very important for me to have 4g.

I bought it from Amazon.de and using on 3. no problem with 4G connection.
you better buy from amazon.fr as they are selling around 455 Euro at the moment which is about 360GPB.

I'm quite happy with it so far.(changed from xperia z2) especially fingerprint scanner. so handy.
no lag but I'm not that heavy user. yes it does have small green notification light.
It took 3 days once they shipped.

Suppose its just warranty i need to worry anout now. If there are any issues or repairs then i would have to return to france at my own expense.

I am thinkingbof swapping my z2 for the AM7 also. Only thing holding me back is I am worried about camera?? How are you finding the video recording and stills inside and low light? I also created another thread for this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2933881

I received my Mate 7 yesterday - got shipped on Friday from HK so came very quickly.
I wasn't charged any tax at all as it was marked as 'gift' when shipped; which was very nice!
It is though the MT7-L09 model, so it doesn't support some of the 4G bands over here. Fortunately I'm switching networks soon, anyway, to one that is supported
I'm currently on O2 and the LTE doesn't work, but it works on EE reportedly.
Also as a point, the model number I have isn't listed on the Huawei bootloader unlock site so I'm currently awaiting more info to unlock and root my device

Nice. I purchased the 16gb European model from amazon.fr in the end £360ish. What phone did you come from and what are your initial impressions especially camera

I had a nexus 4 previously (bit old) so was a bit of a step up... much better screen and etc.
I've yet to play with the camera really, but it's supposedly better than the one I had before. Will have to have a play

[Help] ONEPLUS doesn't ship to Australia :(

How did other Australian's get it here? I'm looking to get 2 64GB Sandstone Black one's (one for me and one for a mate) but I only just found out they don't ship to Australia!

Yh it was them Switzerland listings they had a legit royal mail tracking number an all took about a week to come in I'm using it right now happy with my purchase

Yeah I went through them too but they didn't update their stock levels and have indeed sold out.
