Hi everyone!
I've been lurking around forum ever since I had my xperia x1, but i registered recently idk why really...
I need your help. I bricked my Alcatel Pop D5. It's MT6582 based phone. Its not hard bricked, I have CWM(doesent work as it should)
There's a huge line across the screen, and I wasn't able to push system, restore backup nor flash recovery from bootloader.
The only approach I can use is either ADB through CWM recovery, or fastboot. I can't keep my phone in preloading mode. I tried all button combinations, and it simply doesn't work. I can use social engineering at my providers to get this fixed, but I don't want their crappy rom. It's what got me p**sed off in the first place.
Thanks!
If it is possible, turn on adb from CWM, then install Onetouch companion on your pc and follow the instruction for flashing a stock rom, latter install your custom rom again...

Hi everybody, I have got a big problem with my ngm wilco. I'm afraid I made hardware damage. I was flashing the CWM recovery following these instructions: http://bm-smartphone-reviews.blogspot.it/2012/05/mt6575-flashing-tutorial.html using the ZTE V970 CWM recovery that I found in the second post in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1856578. The phone was already rooted. But the application Smart phone flash tool gave me an error message while I tried flashing without the preloader (I unflaged it because the developer says that it's not necessary). I also tried selecting all the flag, but I always had error messages. Unfortunately the Wilco didn't remain in the previously status, because now it's totally bricked. It doesn't turn on; I can't use the recovery pushing the power and the volume up button; I can't flash the stock rom because the pc doesn't identify the phone. I hope that I didn't made hardware damage, because I'm afraid that the official assistance wouldn't recognize the warranty considering that I was making modding. Thanks a lot for your answers
Nobody of you can help me???
Hey guys, I recently got a Redmi Note, and decided to root it, as I've seen many good things come out of rooted phones. I didn't have access to a computer at the time, so I used Kingroot to root the Note. (I can't read Chinese, so I can't really tell what it did.) And success, it was rooted. Soon, an OTA update came and I decided to download and install it. It booted up fine, but apps kept crashing (incl Kingroot) and I couldn't even get to the landing page/homescreen. I searched up the internet to try and load a fresh stock rom into it, cause I wanted to unroot the phone. (and still do) I tried using the Mi PC suite and load the stock rom into it, but it got stuck at sending userdata.img, and now I'm stuck at the Mi.com logo. (There's no powered by android sign at the bottom.) I've tried getting into recovery, but whenever I press vol down + power button, it takes me straight to fastboot.
TL;DR: I was an idiot and downloaded an OTA update onto my Redmi Note that was rooted via Kingroot running a stock rom. Tried to use Mi PC suite to load the stock rom onto it, but got stuck at userdata.img, and got it into a bootloop. Seek to unroot it and start afresh with a stock rom.

Softbricked Xperia Z3 - locked bootloader, disabled USB debugging, no recovery access
Hey, I'm in big need for help in reanimation of my Xperia Z3. I've been trying to install CM 12.1 on rooted Lollipop 5.0.2. In TWRP, after doing a full wipe I've checked ROM on sdcard and started installation. After some time, phone prompted sth like: "there's no root acces, click ok to install SU". Guided by intuition rather than by wisdom I've clicked it, and here started my problems. After reboot phone was stuck on Sony logo screen. So, I've do some research and started to apply solutions one by another.
- After trying to manually access recovery mode, there's only a short flash of green LED and that's all, black screen. Propably there's no more TWRP aboard. Other ways to access it are blocked: I can't use any apk because of softbrick, and can't use ADB commands because USB debugging is disabled after wipe.
- I can access fastboot mode visible for Flashtool; when phone is in this mode, blue LED lights permemently. I've tried to unlock bootloader: program gives message, that there's no possibility of it on my phone. By the way, I would prefer to stay with blocked bootloader. I was trying to flash custom kernel, but there was an error. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was about lack of permissions, i think that it's also because of USB debugging disabled. The same error shows when I'm trying to flash any other ROM - stock 5.0.2, prerooted 6.0.1 or Paranoid Android.
Most of solutions in similar topics around the web tells to use recovery mode, Flashtool or ADB commands. All af that failed for me and I'm stuck with no ideas what to do next. Now I'm trying to repair or recover stock, unrooted ROM with Xperia Companion, but I'm really afraid of this process because I can't check battery or load it normally while stuck in boot loop. Maybe it will help, then I'll edit or delete this post. I hope you can help me somehow.
Thank you in advance and best regards,
BW

Hi everyone, recently i did een OTA update on my z7, but now is doesn't leave the zte recovery. At first i couldn't connect it to my laptop, because the laptopt did not recognize it, didn't find it. Now i managed to get fastboot running (at least that is what i think, i pressed power and both volume rockers at the same time and i heard my laptop reacting) and i can only find 1 folder, named image.
Inside is a list of things that i do not know. First a list of adsp.b01 files, then cmnlib.b01 and more.
And that is it.
When i use the recovery in the Phone, i can look around, there are more files there, but i can not install anything. I tried to use u usbstick as a way to install something, but it is not seen or recognised by the Phone.
I am not an android expert, i managed to use twrp, cyanogenmod recovery etc to install a custom rom on my xiaomi and asus tablet, but for those there are multiple howto's. I am not so familiar with it to figuere this one out. On the z7 there is almost no info or howto's to find
Can anybody help me? Thank you!
Lars
Hello, I have an old Kurio TAB 2 with model code C15100M/C15150M, I was thinking of rooting it, by installing TWRP. I found a TWRP that was somehow a bit related to the device, an Alcatel TWRP, I think. I successfully managed to unlock the device and flash it using fastboot, but now it doesn't turn on anymore . In no way. It looks like that it also does not charge. Please tell me there is somehow a fix, which is a bit easy??? And by the way, how could it be bricked??? If the tablet should boot into the normal Android OS, it doesn't even use the recovery. So it should be able to boot into the system, which is also quite weird.
