Step 1) Link is dead
Could I just use (this) instead to root then proceed to install a custom recovery ?
Thanks for the fast response.
This is great!...I thought most tmo devs had moved on...thank you soooo much!
I am the new owner of a used g2 and I have my stock rom rooted. I have been waiting to select a custom ROM and finally someone has come up with something that I am going to try. So your new ROM will be the cherry popper.
I've been on AOSP/CM based Lollipop ROMs for a while now. I've wanted to try LG's 5.0+ and I think your ROM is a good excuse to pull the trigger!
Will flash it this weekend.
Thank you very much for this. WIll upgrade from 30a.

Thanks. Hope u guys like it!
Awesome! Many thanks for this!
Quick question, if I changed the DPI to 400, do you think it'll affect Lollipop in any way? I did that with KK ROM's with no hitch so just making sure it won't on this one. Thanks!
Did you try AutoRec for the 801?
Looks great! can't wait to try!
I can't wait to try this on my TMO G2. I am and have been running a stock firmware simply because none of the other interesting TMO G2/G3 ROMs offer wifi calling (which is a must when in my place).
Again awesome looking ROM! I was just going to run AutoRec then load this since I'm on a stock firmware. Shouldn't be any prob's right?
BTW, Which superUser version is on this? Any bugs to look out for?
Thanks!
Thank you for your work and time. Now to the question What exactly has been "debloated" from this ROM?

Most basic bloat stuff. Don't really have list. Just do a backup first.
BTW, no longer have TMO G2. Returning it and probably get a G3 or G3.
How to enter engineering menu?
Like the Rom, but I have a quick question. How do I access the engineering menu? I noticed it now shows my phone as an F350k. I tried the codes for that and the D801 and neither work. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Flash this to restore your build.prop to D801, but you'll loose 4k and slow motion recording.

Thank you.

TWRP installed.
I followed the instructions exactly and my TWRP went from 2.7.0.0 to a newer version (can't remember the exact number off the top of my head). My understanding is bootstack installs Twrp.

Paranoid for GAPPS.
Thank you!! I am loving it!! You made my day!!
I am rather new to G2, and had been tinkering with root, recovery, custom roms, etc over the weekend, but was a little sad that there no lollipop roms yet, not even stock. Then this came up, and I had to try it.
I reverted my G2 back to D80010d (jelly bean), rooted (via ioroot), installed TWRP recovery (via freegee), and then did a clean install of this Cyanogenmod 12. Everything seems to be working great. System seems stable, all the apps work as they should, all the customizable options are working, and lollipop feels just smooth and clean to boot. Absolutely loving it!
Many many thanks!! This is a God-send!!
Thanks very much! Works like a charm. Everything is working on my D800.
Been running the 2/13/15 CM12 for the D802 with the B1akbird kernel and it's been really good as a daily driver. Will download this one and see how it goes. Thanks a lot.
I assume this is the SuperSU you are referring to, http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133.

Just a heads up, check out the LG G2 development and the G2 original development threads as many LP rom builds are posted there which are built for all G2 variants, including D800.
Sorry OP for pointing to other threads in yours, but I just want to ensure that those new to the G2 experience everything.

Thank you! Glad to know and excited to see there are many more options, like Vanir, Omni, Cloudy, etc. But if I'm not mistaken, it seems like the Cyanogenmod 12 in that forum has ceased development, stuck on Dec 27, 2014.
I'm very much loving this Cyanogenmode 12 for D800, so I do very much hope development of this rom will be kept up, hopefully becoming official like the Cy 11. I'm more than willing to donate to help too.
Thanks again to OP and bps119!

Day 3 and still working fine. Tried all of the others in the LG G2 forum, this one is the best lollipop to date.
Is anyone having issues with connecting their phone to their computer? I'm trying to access the USB connection menu on my phone and it just refreshes the Storage screen. The phone isn't even detected on the computer at all.

Try turning off USB debugging (turn off developer options), you should then be able to see your storage partition.
Working well for me so far! The other CM12 I couldnt get to work 100% for me but everything seems to be working well. Still installing all of my old stuff so I will post if some negatives popup.

Hi, i had downloaded everything on your list, but have some questions:
i'm on stock rom 4.4.2 d80020k rooted with TWRP, cant remember if i have a custom kernel (dont think so, any way to check out?), i'm good to flash it?
do i have to flash it like this: Cm12->SU->Gapps? or CM12->Restart,->SU->Restart, Gapps->done?
thanks on advance

The Kernel will be included in the CM12 Package, You will be upgrading to 5.0.2 so anything 4.4.2 related will not be there besides basebands, and bootloader.
Flash like this: CM12>Gapps>SU, then Restart. (I don't think the order matters after CM12, but thats what I recommend) :good:
Enjoy

801 updates? But, I have a D800.
Doesn't matter the method to me personally. I just wouldn't want to have to wipe her phone each time there is an update.
Working beautifully for her I might add!

Current Bugs:
Error Message random times at boot: Check HERE ( I have not tried this, flashing may fix?)
Root Can it be rooted by flashing supersu 2.40? (I haven't tested yet)
ONE WARNING: This does change your model number to D855 in Build.prop. You can prob always change it to D850 but I have not tested that. You can however always flash back to a D850 rom. Which I recommend before flashing back to 100% stock if you ever do.

Though it may carry no weight, I've been running this ROM since I posted that fix. I've had no issue with standard, speakerphone, Bluetooth, headphones, rear speaker sound, etc. Mute works as expected too. This hack was reverse-engineered from CloudyG3 (which, I think, is just the sound drivers and profiles pulled straight from the D85020f ROM); it causes the ROM to handle sound in the way that is identical to his.
Native wifi tethering works flawlessly for me.

You can probably find a TOT somewhere on the international G3 forums, but it won't flash onto a D850 due to the model mismatch.
Rom Status has been changed to STABLE
Can you patch this to 20p?
Images are here.
I hope someone dumps D85021l soon, so that we can get VoLTE working here too. I'll update my fixer zip after, unless you want to integrate it into the base zip (which, by all means, do).
Well, looks like this thread and general interest in stock international ROMs has died, but I still use it. Figure someone else does too.
Patched to D85520w. This uses the original D85020f kernel, as D85021-series kernels are incompatible. Modem has been patched up to D85021r, as that does work for some reason.
Google Drive download.
Thanks to @hyelton for the original zip, and all credit for its components allocated as such.
Thanks to @robalm for the D85020w dump.
Thanks to @Cloudyfa for the hack to make D850 sound work.
Thanks to @Yoshi_Guy for the D85021r modem.

Good job man!
Xposed does not work with 64 bit processors currently, but there is a workaround for lollipop which doesn't help us. If I'm incorrect on any of this please let me know.

Per my understanding you are correct. Not to mention it would need to be deodexed which isn't mentioned so I'll assume its not.
Thanks for the rom @Misterxtc!

I'll be happy to do it if I can find instructions for the mod. Things are going to be a bit crazy around here for a few because I'm picking up a new puppy today to welcome in our home so I'm not sure how soon I can get to this. Most likely I won't have much time during the day as I did in the past. I'm with you 100% on disabling the volume warning.
Gonna ask a noob question.....
If i flash this with flash fire, will it trip knox?

No - it's my understanding that you would have to do something to the bootloader to trip knox

Gotcha...
I am fairly experienced with flashing roms, but i am new to Verizon and new to flash fire. I came from T-mobile/HTC and never had to use flash fire.

This thread is the most recent resource I'm aware of. Again, the 64x is the current hangup though so some hurdles need yet to be cleared. But there is still useful info in there as it pertains to 5.x Xposed so maybe you'll be the guy to make it happen. By all means no hurry, we're all on the front end of this thing right now anyway.
Also, congrats on the new pup. I had a rough time much like yourself recently re: the long time family pet. Glad to hear things are back on the upswing. :good:
Hello!
Does this rom have a Brazilian Portuguese language?
When you guys say that the rom tripped Knox, means that the fingerprint scanner should work or not?
The Fingerprint Scanner still working on this rom?
Thanks for all and sorry about my simple doubts! I'm newbie...

FEATURES:
Based on stock AT&T Lollipop ROM, partially debloated.
This is the full stock ROM installable via TWRP with the AT&T bloat removed with a few MOD's added.
INSTALLATION:
Install via TWRP recovery. Note this was designed specifically to be installed from KitKat or Lollipop (hasn't been tested on Jellybean, but could still work). This does not require any special version of TWRP. Basically as long as you have a working custom recovery it WILL work. Just do the customary 3 wipes and install ROM. Note: After reboot you will have stock recovery, more on that later.
The reason why I started this project was because no one to date had provided a way to easily get to stock AT&T Lollipop, short of taking an OTA, which only works if you are on the AT&T network or via the DLPKGFILE, but that was not an easy solution and prone to errors. The advantage of my approach is potential future compatibility with AT&T's future OTA's and the advent of AUTOREC V2. If you still wish to have TWRP after first boot just download the D800 Autorec from the play store. If a future OTA arrives, then you can easily use that utility to restore the stock recovery. Another benefit of my approach has to do with root, it is maintained yet download mode doesn't detect you have root which also can aid in future updates, warranty, etc. To test this I restored my phone to stock 20C via TOT, rooted with Stump Root, installed Autorec v1 to get TWRP. After that was done I rebooted into TWRP, installed the ROM and was in Lollipop in a mater of minutes. :good:

very exciting. cant wait to try it out. since rumor has it we get 5.1.1 in a couple months.
Just let me know what you think.
Quick suggestion: might want to add a warning to the OP that flashing this will wipe your sdcard. Good thing I had a backup.
Has carrier iq been removed?

?? This doesn't touch the internal storage partition. I have flashed this ROM a dozen times and haven't yet had it format internal. Did you perhaps attempt to enter recovery without installing Autorec v2? I did specify it gave you stock recovery and the reasons for it.

Try this...do a full backup including media with LG backup. Copy the file to the computer. Also any folders the cannot be lost. Then do a factory reset. I have been testing this for a couple of weeks no bootloop or random reboots.

Do you remember what you deleted?
BTW....just to be on the safe side. If you want to delete/modify anything make sure you have TWRP installed so you can just reflash or do a backup. [emoji16]

Yeah that would do it. I think it's too tightly integrated into the system. Same thing with Google hangouts. I tried to remove that and would get an FC every time I sent out received a text. Go figure. [emoji12]

Hmm. Sorry, my mistake. I was having problems entering download mode after flashing blastagator's stripped down & converted 802 stock LP, and after flashing your ROM my download mode was back. Later on when I wanted to put something new on via usb, internal storage only had the default AT&T folders. Weeeeeeeeeeeird.
Anyway, again, my apologies. I should have known it was my fault after poking around a bit too much.
Edit: Oh yeah, I did Autorec v2 before trying to get into recovery so...whatever I did is a mystery. Time to write a story and have Michael Bay direct it (explosions are good).
This is a pretty sweet idea! Got it up and running with no issues. Great job!
Thanks for job!!!

I personally use no-verity-opt-encrypt/. This step is also documented in [Recovery][H850] Team Win Recovery Project for the LG G5. If you disable the encrypton, you will lost your data. Make a Backup!
Does your ROM contain full 10i firmware? Or do we need to kdz to 10i first?

It's very easy, I don't like material Statusbar. I like to use 3minit with the Cobalt Theme for the G4 TweaksBox (that works with our G5).
I think ist possible to let anybody choose in Aroma if you would like to install 3minit or not.

If time allows, I will continue this project.
My goal is a clean base Rom. Performance optimization - yes. Custom Apps and other stuff - no.
I do not need to force any user to use my favorite applications and settings.
Thanks to Xposed and other powerful tools, everyone can make their own tweaks.

THANKS!
This is what i always wanted!
Btw: Paget96(Dev of LSpeed) is happy, that you recommend his app :good:
Forgive me if I've missed it, but clean install of this ROM straight after a wipe seems to result in a PIN being required on boot (decryption PIN, I think with the white screen), but as it's a new flash I haven't put a PIN in yet. Was one hard coded in the ROM, that I've missed?
I tried flashing before/after oem-decrypt.zip but that didn't seem to help, and have confirmed that flashing back to an older ROM removes the PIN entry.
Any ideas?
@kwiksand
Here the steps how disable force encryption.
1. flash no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip with TWRP
2. reboot to the bootloader use the following commands with ADB
Code:
fastboot format userdata
fastboot format cache
Now flash my or other ROM .
one thing is just so weird. Had 10e for miuistone patch and adb wouldn't work. It does with cm13 though so i though it would be somehow related to LG's drivers. Then I went full stock without root and adb was working on stock (10i). Now I wanted to have root back and flashed this rom and adb isn't working again with multiple computers and linux or windows 8 doesnt make a difference.

While fastboot worked for me on 10e and 64bit windows, 10i wasn't recognized on my PC. Then I used an 32bit Windows PC and manually switched to another adb driver at Windows device Manager and it's working now
Thanks @ozontec,
That worked after a few tries!
