Hello,
we are a group of researchers in the Software Testing and Specification Lab at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil and we are interested in understanding the best practices applied and difficulties faced when developing exception handling code for Android apps. To inform our understanding, it would be great if you could fill out the following survey:
Link: docs.google.com/forms/d/1LEFxScbC0LcZvTWdLOOzEsTlAk004U1JHTonkzYFHyA/viewform
The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete. We are interested in your experience and your point of view. Your willingness to complete the survey in its entirety will be greatly appreciated. All responses to this survey will be used for academic research purposes only and are completely confidential.
Thanks in advance for your feedback and we ask for your cooperation in spreading this survey to others Android developers.
If you have questions about the survey, please send an email to: [email protected]
Thanks,

We are a group of 3 students currently doing our honors in Information Technology at the North West University in South Africa. We are doing a research project concerned with the development of mobile applications and how the development of mobile applications can be improved to provide better user satisfaction and therefore cultivate better demand for the application.
Attached to this post is a questionnaire which contains 11 characteristics that we have identified to be crucial to the success of mobile applications. We kindly request that you complete this questionnaire to help us identify which of these characteristics are more important.
It should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
You can just email the completed document to the email address provided below or you can send me a PM.
MOD EDIT: REMOVED EMAIL
Thank you for your input, it is greatly appreciated
I just want to again ask that any one who has the time could fill this in and forward it to me. It will really take only about 10minutes of your time.
This research is done to further improve the quality of mobile applications.
So be a pioneer and help us further improve this mobile age that we are living in.
Is surveys allowed here???

Hello!
Our team of researchers is interested in studying communities that support the creation of alternative software for mobile phones (i.e. CyanogenMod and others). We are interested in this topic, since we believe that users and developers in these communities help to make mobile devices more sustainabile.
We need your help. We are we are now preparing the questionnaire and seeking volunteers, who would like to participate in the pilot study, while being connected with the moderator using skype/hangouts/phone to be able to discuss their impressions and thought on the questions.
The time needed for this will be about 15-20 minutes. If you would like to help, please drop me a private message so we could schedule the time convenient for you.
Thank you very much
Best regards,

Hi,
We are students in computer science, and need some help from jailbreak/root users on our course project. We are conducting an attitude study towards the users' understanding of jailbreak/root process. This study is about 15min long online survey. We used a google form. All participations are anonymous. You don't need to provide your personal information, just a few questions about jailbreak/root experience. Your answers would only be used for academic purpose.
Your participation is strongly appreciated!
Heres the link to the survey (google form):

Many thanks!
thread cleaned, and closed, reading what I have cleaned reflects nothing more than post count building.
Contribute with genuine information, or don't post at all. Thanks!
Hi
I would appreciate it if you would spare some time to complete my survey on mobile development. It is a part of my research in relation to the master's thesis I'm writing on Aarhus University.
To participate please click the link below or copy it into your web browser. Please feel free to share the survey to your connections within software development.

Hi XDA devs! I am completing an independent study with the aim of identifying Android's biggest areas of improvement from the perspective of Designers, App Developers, Programmers, and, of course, End Users. This will be the first of several questions I pose, but hopefully the turnout and feedback will start us off right! Please submit feedback related to design, user interface, or functionality of the Android Operating system as it stands today. Please limit feedback to the most recent versions of Android (5.0 Lollipop - 5.1) as that will be most relevant. More questions are on the way! Thanks for your help! Your feedback is important as the end goal is to improve the OS we all love!
I will present the results of this study later in the year. Please subscribe if you're interested in being notified!
The link to the Google form is BELOW. Please submit all responses in the Google Form, not on the thread.

Thanks again!
