I have got LG G Pro2 mobile from Indian market. I am using it in USA now with AT&T carrier.
But for Data services, i am not able to connect to 4G/LTE service. It always shows E or G after connecting to the internet.
I checked with AT&T people, they said that there is no issue with AT&T. It is the issue with mobile device.
Could anybody help me to get the 4G/LTE service in my mobile?
I'm not sure but I don't think the GP2 supports AT&T LTE bands.
Do you have the F350 or the D838? F350 works on LTE band 17 on AT&T but not band 4. D838 does not have AT&T LTE support.
i have LG G2 D801 but whenever i activate Mobile Data connection its still on Edge while 3G is available i can't use 3G what i can do pls help me its my request to all experts

With the D801 you can select the network mode under Settings -> Tethering & networks -> Mobile networks -> Network mode. There should be 4 options:
GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto
GSM/WCDMA auto
WCDMA only
GSM only
If both GSM and WCDMA are avalable and you are in one of the auto modes and the phone uses GSM (maybe because the WCDMA signal is weak) you can select WCDMA only.

What frequencies does you carrier use for 3G? According to LG the D801 does 1, 2, 4 and 5, which according to Wikipedia are 2100, 1900, 1700 and 850MHz.

Another possibility is that your SIM card is only provisioned for 2G. I had that happen to me in the opposite way with H2O which only allowed access to the WCDMA network but not the GSM (before they added LTE). You may want to contact Mobilink and request a different SIM card.

It might be like ATT here in the states where you must notify the provider of the phone IMEI if you want 4g before they can provision it.
Looks like Mobilnk is uses 2100, so it should work.

Guys I need Help I have G2 D801 using Zong in Pakistan my sim is 4G capable and provisioned and they transmit on 2100hz so that's not a problem as well but still no signals in wcdma only mode I can't get anything above 2G so please find a solution for this I even installed Cm12 for it but still no use

4G/LTE Pakistani Band 3 1800 isnt present in D801.
So you can get 3G HSPA+ only on 2100MHz...
Check APN settings

My LG G2 had same problem. Changing DNS or modifying APN not resolve it.
I found reason of problem. After several ROM update, my LG G2 IMEI may be damaged. If you see in Cellular Network → Network Operator, these’s only one record for each operator.
I did backup my imei 2 years ago, now I restore it using LG backup IMEI app. After restore my IMEI, i see two same row operator’name in Network Operator. I can connect 3G again after several months without 3G.
If you did not backup IMEI, you can folowing instructions in forums to restore IMEI. Please googling !
Hello, I have a TMO LG G2 D801 and it can't connect to 3G networks when I set connection to 3G only it losses signals I'm on Zong carrier in Pak and my Sim is provisioned for 3G and my Wildfire S can also connect to 3G on same sim in same area also my carrier broadcasts at 2100mhz so that's not a problem as well I tried installing CM12 cuz someone told me TMO won't connect in PK but it still ain't working..............any ideas? please help :crying:
i have lg g2 vs980. my phone software is lolipop 5.0.2 vs98039a. i have some problem in this phone when i useing reliance cdma sim.
1. when i use reliance cdma sim i do only one call any mobile no. if want i do another call so call not connected. when i restart the phone so call is connect only first time. on 2nd call is same problem.
2. 3g network not work with 1x EvDo.

Most of mobile phones are only capable to connect to GSM networks. In my country, CDMA is almost dead. Only Smartfren Telecom was left here. It's a CDMA operator that working on bringing LTE-A across Indonesia (even if it's a GSM service, that's why I said that). It has self-branded phone 'Andromax' that works on both CDMA & GSM networks (but not all). On some countries it's even already dead. May be you could come to Indonesia and purchase one Andromax smartphone on local stores here :silly:
The only suggestion I could give to you is only to use GSM operator. It has so many advantages and enhanced technologies. CDMA is almost dead and outdated.

Yeah this phone is unlocked but I am not able to get 4g or 4G LTE on the phone with H2O Wireless
LG G5 Verizon has 3 network mode
1. Global this mode gives H (HPSA) and calling on H2O wireless
2. LTE/CDMA this gives 4G LTE but on calling it says SIM Card error or no SIM Found
3. LTE/GSM/UMTS - This initially offers 4G but as i start calling it change the Data service to HPSA
Any Solution Guys?
I tried everything but seems like Verizon Lg G5 only support the HPSA for GSM network and do not support 4G LTE for CDMA networks..
I dont know how to change the bands etc on Verizon Lg G5
