hello , i just flashed an official rom on my samsung galaxy grand 2 using odin . everything went correctly but i'm stuck in a boot loop .
the rom i installed was official which i downloaded for the specific device . my device had android 4.3 installed but i flashed an updated rom with android 4.4.2 (i did this update because some settings like security , VPN etc were inaccessible on the device , on opening those "Unfortunately , setting stopped " dialogue box kept popping up) . my phone does go into recovery mode and download mode .
i have already wiped data/ factory reset my phone , and wiped cache partition but it does not boot . it is not a rooted device so it does not show advance settings in recovery mode . tried re-flashing but does not work . i also would like to know if my warranty is void . please help !!! :crying: :crying: :crying:

I rooted my phone to enter to custom CWM recovery mode via ODIN . Just after i tried to install a zip file "LockscreenEffect_OneHand_GS3_4.3_MK6_v4" (ink effect on the lock screen". It appeared to be installed successfully but when i start my phone again the very first thing i faced is that i was not getting signal coverage any more. "Setting options" stopped working and always throwing as error "unfortunately settings has stopped working". I thought of factory reset it via CWM recovery mode but now nothing is happening and phone has got stuck on the same screen "Samsung Galaxt SIII" pls pls pls pls pls help
Hello, and welcome to XDA Assist! Hi there,
i bought s4 i9505 (black edition) (from a random guy) yesterday . It automatically turned of and stuck on the samsung logo . I tried to boot in recovery but it also stuck there when the small blue text appears in the corner saying (recovery booting.. ) . I tried to install Stock rom lollipop 5.0.1 but now it automatically shows the recovery booting text on the top and still stuck.. I couldn't wipe cache because of the recovery stuck. Local repair shopkeeper said it might be the emmc chip issue kindly
Help me

i recently had the Trojan virus and i was told that the only way to get rid of it is by installing custom rom , i factory reset my S4 2 times then downloaded custom rom from an app called ROM MANGER the installed another app called FLASHIFY looked for IMG file and flashed it once done it , it booted to Odine mode where the Adroid robot show up saying 'Downloading... Do not remove target'
P.S: the usb debugging is not activated because i factory reseted my phone
