First try flashing factory images and if it doesn't solve the problem then
It's probably the hardware fault .. Also happened to one of my friend's galaxy s2 , always stuck on wifi turning on and then grayed out . get it replaced from google

Twice in the past week I got my phone out and it was off and unresponsive. I had to do soft boot with power volume down to get the phone working. This is something that I have not experienced with other android phones. I am on Verizon with stock Galaxy S6 running 5.0.2.
Is this a defective phone or some application causing problems. What steps can I take to troubleshoot the problem? Who would I turn to for help?
Having my phone randomly stop working is unacceptable as this is my primary line. I can't afford to miss calls. I need to get this fixed.
Go to Settings-About Device-Software Update. Update the software of your S6.
Tried that, my software is up to date according to settings update.
I have your problem too, you should try to install FXR Wifi Fix. It solved random reboots for me, now my phone just reboot when I download something from Play Store (maybe RAM issue).
random rebbots too
i have random rebbots to, during the day maybe 20 times
its freeze nonstop

tried everything but no luck
I found a "solution", reset your phone and don't configure wifi. If you never turn on wifi your random reboots will stop.

i am having this same issue too, waiting on a replacement at the moment. hope this one works better
The same here. I own a german (Vodafone) S6 (non Edge; stock 5.0.2; no root) 128GB und sometimes the phone will not respond to any button when I grap it out of my pocket.
The screen keeps black and only Power + Vol Down helps...
Disabling WiFi is no solution for me. Guys, it's a Smartphone ...
Will try the above mentioned Wifi fix. Thanks!

not really. in stock recovery (or twrp) menu good all. but is install custom (or aroma installer) freeze sometimes when you select different items during installation
Another problem emerged. even when the phone is turned off and connect it to charge. he even turned off and then restarted.
Please Help!!!!! i have tried to fix this problem and have searched for a new solution and everytime i find a new thing to try, it works and then stops working once screen locks. and now nothing will work, so if anyone knows any solution other than factory reset, soft reset, uncheck the screen rotation button and reset it and recheck it after restart or remove all apps and reinstall one at a time ( been there done that for all) and so on and so on.......i'm thinking i have to wait until new marshmallow update is available or get a new S6........ so if anyone has a permanent solution please help!!!!!!
thanks in advance

Dear All,
I have samsung s6 32gb Indian version.
In the middle of playing games it restarted. And from then on it is restarting again and again after 2 minutes hardly.
I did a factory reset from recovery. It didnt help. I did a fresh install via odin of latest firmware from Sam Mobile. The problem still remains the same.
It Boots. Opens till language selection. As I Click next it reboots.
Is there any solution any body can suggest or similar issue being faced.

I think it is a hardware issue. You should go to service.
