Hey guys, is there a way to disable/block all incoming calls but still have sms and internet connection on the phone?
I'm tethering phones internet using PDANet+ and whenever I'm playing competitive matches in CSGO someone calls me and my ping spikes up to 1000. I have to throw match and restart my computer and phone which is really frustrating.
I'm on Nexus 5 Android 4.4.4

cataclysm rom is only for lollipop
Alright but catalysm has also a 4.4.4 rom version with that function i think
Most of 4.4 custom roms should have a feature to block sms & calls from unknown/private numbers.
You can also find similar features into a 3rd party app on Google Play.

Working with a rooted Nexus 5 running Kitkat. I am developing a kiosk style application for telephony that accepts incoming calls from a predefined #. The problem is that the application loses focus on incoming calls, the built-in phone app takes over.
I want to prevent this!
Is anyone aware of any custom MODs that might help me achieve this goal?
Hello,
Is it normal for facebook messenger call to mute mic and calls? After I receive a call at facebook messenger, it just mutes itself and the call disconnects 5 seconds later...then I won't be able to use the mic in ANY CALLS like regular calls or viber. However, when I record voice, the mic appears to work...any workaround? Only happens when I update to custom ROM....tried Cyanogenmod Nightly, AOSP, Slim Kitkat and even downgraded to Jellybean to no avail still same issue....had to revert to stock 4.0.4
Thanks!

My wife is having this same exact problem with her HTC Sensation 4g on CM11 4.4.4. If you find the answer please pass it on. I haven't gotten a look at her phone long enough to figure it out. :good:

Hope you can fix this issue when incoming call to phone (not the forwarded phone numbers) will get re-directed to voice mail. It happen randomly, when I test myself using other phone no problem but some of my friends sms me telling me they get re-directed to voice mail when they try to call me. I have uninstalled the app for the time being.

I don't think this is an app problem, because the app just reads the log to discover a forwarded call, and has nothing to do with the forwarding settings..
Please check your diverted/forwarded call settings on your mobile...
Thanks,

Could you please send me a feedback email from within the app to have more info about your problem
I installed the app on my nexus 4 (Lollipop 5.0.2 + Root) yesterday, but it didn't show any text and it didn't ask for root-permissions.

I have another request that could seriously enhanced its functionality.
This (great) app makes more noticeable a forwarded call, when you have the phone in your hands.
IT would be Great to find a way to see if a missed call is forwarded!
A notification message probably or
even a way to mark the forwarded call in the call logs.

Yeah. Great suggestion GreekSofos.
What if you miss the call. You should have a way to know if it is a diverted call.
@rabbat78
1) Note 3 Kitkat Rooted user here. It didn't work 1st time (no notification) despite the fact that I m rooted. Needed to run the FCtools anyway. (And I got in the PC command line a message that you leak memory or something)
2) Where is the enable/disable service switch that was present in 1.0 ? Can't find it.
How can I switch it off easily?
3) +1000 to the above suggestion to find a way to mark the forwarded calls after they ended ringing.
Useful app anyways.
Hello,
Great app !!
Installed on Sony Xperia Z1 Compact, with Lolillop 5.0.2.
I've no notification when the phone is locked.
If the phone is unlocked, the notification appears.
+1 to have a mark of the forwarded calls after they ended ringing.
Thanks
Is it my rom or does Android 5.1 already include the feature to show forwarded calls?
Worked on my Xperia Z C6602 android 4.2.2
It would be great if you make it in a way that no rooting be ever necessary . . . or developer options.
It's better to make the message box much bigger . . . or resizable.
I also installed the driver from developer.sonymobile.com
Thaaaaaaaaaaaanks man ....
Had hard time thought. Try it 10-20 times but didnt give up.
Finally i made it work on my Note 4 N910C unroot.
Install latest drivers and work with usb debugging on.
Works even with the screen locked ....
So for the brief moment that I owned the One Plus One with CM 11 it had a nifty feature which blocked both phone #s and the ability for said phone numbers not to leave voice messages.
I think it actually dropped the call.
Android has a similar feature in the contacts section, but this still forwards the phone # to the VM service and they are able to leave voice mails.
Is there and app or hack which allows me to completely drop and block calls from ringing and leaving a voice mail?

Hi,
I'm looking for a Call Blocker App that can block all calls except from contacts I put in a Whitelist and that blocks
the call before the call connects/rings from the caller side.
There are many Call Blocker Apps on the Play Store that can block all calls except from contacts in a Whitelist, but
all the ones I've tried so far connect/ring before the call is disconnected, so the caller can here the phone ring/connect before the App
rejects/disconnects it, therefore the caller can workout that the call has been blocked/rejected.
I'm from the UK and have a stock/un-rooted Samsung Galaxy S6 running Android 5.0.2, so I'm looking for an App that doesn't require my phone to be rooted.
Thanks for you time...

I have been using Call Control from Kedlin Company for past 2 years. It works great for both call/SMS blocking with both Black and White Lists. Try it. You can find it at Play Store.

Thanks, I've already found that option, but the problem is that it just silences the call rather than disconnects it.
