Working with a rooted Nexus 5 running Kitkat. I am developing a kiosk style application for telephony that accepts incoming calls from a predefined #. The problem is that the application loses focus on incoming calls, the built-in phone app takes over.
I want to prevent this!
Is anyone aware of any custom MODs that might help me achieve this goal?

Google Voice currently offers incoming recordings but what about outgoing calls?
So I did some searching and it turns out android as well as iOS blocks this feature from being accessed and all apps use tricks and hacks to make is work halfway.
However, CyonagenMod project should have no trouble accessing this feature since the entire OS is opened sourced. There hasn't been anything released or merged that would indicate anyone working on such a feature. So I ask your opinion and thoughts. Is this something you would like to see implemented? Does it make sense to allow people to record your conversation even if there was a consent message before starting the recording? After all, if you really needed to record a conversation, even if illegal, all Android and iOS phones have a headphones line out.
what do u mean by incoming recordings ?
Incoming meaning that when you get a call from someone you can press 4 (I think) and record a call. If you place the call, this option is not available.
Trojan for call recording
maybe this trojan does what we want?

That would be interesting. Anyone has the apk?

Call recording in Nexus s
Hi, anyone knows and tried which ROM and audio patch i should do for Nexus s to enable call recording using Total Recall
Hi,
I am after some suggestions how I can work with this scenario posed to me today -
I want to be able to divert phone calls from Phone 1 (Android) to Phone 2 (Nokia) but only for a set number of seconds.
I do not want the call to end up on Phone 2's voicemail but to return back to Phone 1's voicemail if possible.
Has anyone experienced this requirement before , can it be done - I have started looking at Android Call Management apps but there are a lot of them!
Thanks
Hi all,
First let me say that you're making awesome things possible with such an old device (bit weird to say that about a 3 yrs old tablet ) Many thanks for all your efforts!
Either with current Omnirom and CM11 my Xoom is receiving voice calls. Regrettably the provider is not able to route calls just to one specific device (got three SIM in total as part of my contract). I can set mute for incoming calls, but the device is for my parents in law. So I'm not that interested in showing them all phone numbers that try to reach me...I could pay some money to get a data-only SIM, but then I could also use the money to buy a new device^^
I have already tried the following to solve it
- removing the Dialer apk -> no voice call button anymore, but it is still ringing
- added lines to build.prop ("ro.telephony.disable-call=true" & hw.nophone=true) -> without any effect, had expected to have WiFi only
So far I understood that EOS 4.2.2 had a USSD mod to activate the telephony function. That means to me the device did not receive calls without this mod. Did something fundamentally change to the telephony implementation in Android versions >4.2.2 or is there a similiar way to deactivate it in CM/OMNIROM? I think they made changes to the framework-res.
Please do not understand this question as a request to the community to program something, but I would like to know if there is a chance to get it fixed (even with some or much learning effort )

Hi All,
I have a quick Q on this.
Is there any way to set this up on the phone?
My old samsung s3 had this (it would show "diverted from [number]", but I was running a custom rom and it was rooted.)
Would there be any call handler app that would do this or would I have root the phone and run a custom rom?
FYI I'm using an aussie D6653.
Any help would be appreciated as I really need to make a distinction on forwarded calls for work purposes.
Hello guys
could some one help me by confirming availability of this feature in android or if there is a third party application or any custom rom could do it?? i need to see a notification when i receive incoming call showing that the incoming call is forwarded. i have Nexus 5 and i run android 6 rom.
it will be thankful and fully appreciated if someone help me to sort this.
