Is there a terminal command, or an intent, I could send to Advanced Settings to get it to set the ambient brightness level to what I want between 1 and 255? My coding skills are zero, but I use Wearshell and Tasker a lot, and I know how to send shell commands to my watch and I know how to sideload Tasker apks onto my watch to send intents. I love the advanced settings app and I use it a lot. Any help is appreciated thank you.

is there a file advanced settings keeps it's settings in? could I swap that file out for copies of the file that have custom settings I've configured? I ask because I use tasker and autovoice a lot and it'd be great to speak a settings profile and have it activate thank you

[APP][FireTV] FiredTV Launcher - an Alternative Home/App Launcher

FiredTV Launcher is a 'replacement' for Amazon's Home/Launcher app which does not show sideloaded apps.
Visit the project page for more information (including source code): https://github.com/Redth/FiredTVLauncher

How does it work?
While it's not possible (yet/without root) to actually replace the launcher app, FiredTV effectively does this by watching for Amazon's launcher being opened, and then immediately launches itself. Because of this, you will see Amazon's home screen flash on the screen very briefly after pressing the home button, before FiredTV Launcher appears.
Installation
You can install the app by grabbing the .APK directly from the releases page: https://github.com/Redth/FiredTVLauncher/releases
You will need to sideload the app. There are many guides available how to do this on the forums.
Once the app has been installed, go into your FireTV Settings, go into Applications, find 'FiredTV' in the list, select it, and select 'Launch Application'
Enjoy!
Where's the Java?
If you looked at the source, you may have noticed that there's no Java. That's because this was written entirely in C# using Xamarin! C# is awesome, go use Xamarin!
What's next?
Obviously this launcher is very simple, and there's not much to it. I'm planning on adding some Settings configuration within the app, so you can do things like hide apps, reorder them, hide labels, change colors, etc.

Setting and configurations don't survive on reboot
Really great app but what I notice is the settings don't survive a boot, such as app placement configuration, customizing the time and date, which apps to show and hide etc. Please fix this problem and make the settings stick! Thanks!

Sven's android wear toolkit

Sven's Android wear tools
Hi, i am sven, a beginning developer from the netherlands, i saw that you could install normal apps to your android wear device using adb and after that a tool called android wear tools, i thought the second one was not good enough, so i decided to build one myself using C#.
Its not perfect, but... its something!
what can this tool do?
Make a connection to your watch using adb
List all apps available on that device
Install an app to that device
Delete an app from the device
View the app in the google play store, to make sure you do not uninstall the wrong app
What can this tool not do?
Bake some cookies
Work on OSX or Linux
Root your device or something else like that
Help!!! it does not work
make sure you have connected your phone to your PC and Installed the last ADB drivers
Have you enabled "android debugging" on your phone, your watch and your phones android wear app?
well... this program is buggy, so let me know if you find some other problems

[APP][4.03++] Phoenix - Autoboot+app start

=====================================================================
Requires root! Requires Android 4.0.3 or newer!
=====================================================================
You need to grant permission when your SU app requests
=====================================================================
An application to reboot your phone in a given interval on a specific time and start a specific application after reboot.
The idea is to restart Android and an application periodically to clean up cache and memory leaks if the application (like a security cam >> see Alfred in GooglePlay) has to run over a long time.
And if you don't need to restart an application, still this can help to close memory leaks.
No background services - reboot is scheduled by system AlarmManager.
Before reboot is applied, all apps get a shutdown call to save there data. This helps to prevent data loss!
I wrote this for my own use, but it might be helpful for others as well.
Configuration allows
- selection of reboot interval from every day to every 30 days
- selection of reboot time from midnight to 11pm
- selection between hard reboot (complete restart) or soft/hot reboot (only restart apps)
- selection if you want to start an app automatically after reboot
- selection of any app to be started automatically after reboot
The app is open source and the source is published on Github.

This application helps you to remotely change smart TV picture settings and other settings over WI-FI by your mobile phone or tablet.
To do this, use USB debug console via ADB communication protocol. Some Smart-TV models on Android-TV are supported this application.
To be able to connect to TV over Wi-Fi, you must enable USB debugging access in TV settings. Please note that this will block one of the USB ports.
In application settings, you need to specify network address of TV and the standard connection port 5555 of ADB protocol.
You can fast and easy adjust the following settings:
- Screen on / off
- Enable / disable HDR mode
- Backlight
- Saturation
- Brightness
- Contrast

Looks like this can solve my everlasting problem of not being able to disable HDR in my projector. However, the app doesn't seem to connect to my device. I have the Xiaomi MJJGTYDS02FM (LED compact projector Chinese version). Can you shed some light on how to make it work, or can it be even supported with this device?
