[Q] Is there any way to get back my IMEI?

Hey guys! I'm sorry if this is an annoying question. I have a Samsung Galaxy SL i9003.
Not to make it too long i'll summarize my problem.
I had lost my imei once and i was able to get it back with 9 steps to get your imei back thread but now it doesn't work. When i dial *#06# it's BLANK. No Numbers or 0049 just IMEI and okay button. I have a backup but copying it back to Efs didn't work. I dont have an "insane chip" It's normal as brickbug checker app says. I went to a phone shop they couldn't fix my problem with z3x and stuff like that. Samsung service center wanted 175$ for motherboard replacement so i refused that it's too much for a 2 year old device. So yeah, is there any way for me to take it back to normal? 'Cuz i can't afford a new phone and they're all very expensive in Turkey 'cuz of dumb taxes Turkey has.
Hope to find a solution. Peace out!
ps. If this is an emmc problem is there any way to do some repartition to it?
Ps. Today i've flashed DDLF2 and i saw that it rebooted to recovery and there was an error which says "Cannot mount /efs" I hope you guys can give me some tips to solve this..

I did it but it didn't work :/ And also i don't have any file in Efs folder atm but i have my backup in my pc.

FIRST of all im not good in english so pls ignore my bad grammar
PROBLEM : im Blocked on my game apps to buy some stuff, my phone is in blacklisted . even im using VPN. the only way is to use different device , when i used another device with the same account on my cellphone , it worked. so the solution is to use another cellphone , but i cant afford to buy new devices.
Im just wondering what application should i use to detect that my phone is a new device , do i need to use " change id device " stuff on playstore , do i need to change the mac address of my cellphone or my IMEI ?
please help me. and lastly when an in-app game blocking a device, what are the info they blocking does the ip , imei or device id or what ?
my phone is rooted will i solve my problem without changing device ?

It uses your device ID and IMEI. Changing the IMEI is illegal. So you will not find any help here on changing that. If you are blocked then you may want to think why they blocked you and then do what you have to do to get unblocked. They normally only block people if you are found to be using cracked software, if that is the case then you are out of luck.

Hello everyone.
Sorry if my questions are silly, I'm quite new here... and I need some explanations.
I bought a phone ( reconditioned, on PriceMinister) that I'm having some trouble with.
The main issue is that IMEI (MEID) written on the back of the phone does not match the one shown when i dial *#06#. Still, the S/N is the same.
Also the model written on the back ( SM-G920F ) does not match the one when I enter Odin mode, ( SM-G920P)
1) Is it safe to name my IMEI N° here or elsewere on the net ?
2) Is it possible that I changed this IMEI myself, being unaware of what I was doing while flashing TWRP, or some ROM that I randomly tried ??
3) What tools can I use in order to know what is really the model of my phone ( TWRP SM-G920F alias zerolfte does not work, but zerofltespr does. Still the Pi3 ROM works when I state the model being SM-920F !)

Greetings and welcome to xda. You shouldn't share your IMEI number anywhere on the internet and you are right to be suspicious, youe IMEI number shouldn't be changed. This app here

Is there any way to regenerate IMEI number of a MTK device

Hi guys my friend bought a cheap very old used mediatek android phone (micromax a064) few days ago. it was getting alot of app not responding errors so we decided to flash stock rom. after that im getting invalid imei error. when I checked imei behind the phone its not clearly visible the paint has came off I can only read it partially . so my questions are
is there any way I can regenerate the IMEI number of the phone?
or is there any bar code reader that can read damaged imei barcode?
and before flashing I was using mtkdroidtool so that I could backup IMEI number but i got buzy with something and in a hurry never clicked on back up button. but I remember that it showed me IMEI number does it store temporary info somewhere on the pc ?

Question ROG 5 Null IMEI Repair to it Factory State

Mods kindly spare me not trying to change IMEI here I know thats illegal, Just trying to repair the phone back to its factory state
I am having null IMEI issue with my ROG5 and Network is not working
Now I don't have any backup unfortunately which is worse ( I have had this experience with the Samsungs before and their only hope was EFS backup, i am not sure how it is for ROG's)
I have noticed many people experiencing the same after converting the ROM unfortunately don't have the box with them , good thing is I have my phones box with me is there a way that I can repair my phone to its working factory state
I don't have access/option of those premium boxes for repair in my city, is there a way that I could repair it myself instead of falling for scam paying somewhere thanks I'm advance help appreciated

So long as this thread doesn't deteriorate to paid services and changing IMEI, you are ok.

Thanks for the reply mate, will this resolve the IMEI issue aswell? Or ill need some tool to manually write IMEI, the thing is I want it to its factory state meaning both IMEI and serial on box the way phone came

I looked that thread up, that apparently is a fix for devices stuck in EDL mode, My device is booted & functioning properly other than no IMEI display in dialer *#06# and Sim/Network not working

Does your fingerprint reader work? That would be surprising, like hundreds of users on Zentalk who have an HS SIM, it is the disconnected cable that is in question and that manages both (SIM and Reader footprint).
