My screen will rotate to landscape mode in camera but it takes a few mins and shaking the phone to get it to rotate back to portrait. Sometimes I have to spin the phone around a few times. Anyone else?

is it possible to keep the universal in landscape mode permanently? it seems that when i rotate the screen and when the device shuts of temporarily, and is turned on again the screen in orientated back to portrait mode. Just wanna know if there is a way to keep it in the landscape mode? thanks
Is there a proximity sensor that will work in landscape mode? I would like for my screen to shutoff automatically if I am on a call and the phone screen is in landscape mode when I put it away in my case. Thanks for the help.
As the title says the phone's screen won't turn on after I ended a longer call, i have to press the power button to get the screen working.
Did it happen to you also?I have this phone for 2 months but it never happened in the beginning, this seems to be a recent issue.
Is it a hardware issue or a software bug?I've tested the proximity sensor and it works just fine as much i can tell, it switches the screen of and on, it never happened to wake the screen during a call and to activate random keys.
Another strange thing that i noticed during a call:If have the keypad up and i lay the phone horizontally the screen won't turn off if i hover my hand over the proximity sensor but if i put the phone vertically the screen goes off or if i hide the keypad the screen also goes instantly off.
Is there a way to use the Hyperlapse camera mode with the screen off? When I tried to do this, the screen never times out (because video is being recorded). Also, when I try to shut off the screen using the power button, the camera stops and the Hyperlapse session ends. The screen is a significant battery user. For this mode, it would be nice to be able to let the screen shut off to conserve battery.

The S7 has a feature that senses the subject in front of the lens. Let's start with checking your settings.
From your home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Device.
Tap Display > Smart Stay.
With Smart Stay, the display remains on. Try using Hyperlapse with this feature turned off.
The back camera randomly freezes in landscape mode. I can use it in portrait mode without a problem but when I turn the phone landscape it freezes...
Update
I have a rotation program that allows my screen to rotate 360 degrees. When I turned it off the camera works properly...
