I have a Sprint Touch Pro. It makes this annoying snapping sound when pressing down on the call button on the bottom left hand corner, as if the chrome faceplate isn't completely or loosely screwed into the black under-pinning piece. Does anyone else have this issue?
I have a similar problem

My keyboard makes a cheap creaking noise when I type. If I press the battery cover in the area around the camera, I hear the same noise. Is there any simple fix for this, it's pretty annoying.
Otherbeing, I think what you hear is the crackle from the speaker....I have it too!
battery noise
for a simple fix to the battery noise, (this is gonna sound really cheap)
fold up a piece of paper and put it on the battery and then put the back cover on... it works...
might take you two or three tries to get the right size and set, but once you have it down, its easy,
and yea it works... (yes i know this is really cheap sounding)
Hi all, Received my One plus a few days ago, very happy with it, no yellow screen, GPS issues or ghost screen touches, but yesterday I noticed a slight rattle which seems to be from the camera area; it can be heard when gently tapping the back of the phone with a finger or shaking it. Never been dropped or knocked.
Wondering if anyone else has this?
Same for me, it seems to be a non-issue as lots have it.
Thanks..... that's reassuring! Did try searching for "rattle" but nothing came up
I seem to be experiencing glass separation on my S5. It is occurring on the left top border near the volume buttons and extending downward to just past the middle of the phone. It is still enough along the edge to where it hasn't made it to the screen yet. It appears to be getting close though. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Since it isn't affecting the display (yet), is this considered a warranty issue?
Yes, i noticed the same thing on my s5, except mine id happening just to the left of the speaker. I will be calling samsung today to see if it is ann issue covered by warranty.
Anyone else have a somewhat wobbly phone button? Mine just doesn't feel very study, and I can wiggle it if I want to. It's so mildly irritating that it's driving the perfectionist in me insane.
Thinking about getting a replacement.
Mine a little wobbly and if you shake phone it rattles a bit don't know if this is normal

Every one I've seen is the same so I'm guessing its normal
No it shouldn't be, unfortunately it is. Most devices have this problem, mine has too. I have seen another S6 that had not the Problem, but chances to get a S6 with perfect homebutton is probably very low now.
Mines not lose or rattles
This s6 is turning into a nightmare for me loose button screen brighter at the bottom than the top on dark screens shame really such a great phone
My GS6 flat in white has this issue too. The left side of the home button rattles a little when tapped on it. Is it normal?
Is there a video showing the wobble?
There's the exact same amount of movement on both my wife's and my S6. But I'm not certain how much of a wobble is considered a defect. How much wobble is too much wobble? When you hear a noise upon pressing or moving around the device?
I think the home button needs to have a slight wobble to help form to the finger for the fingerprint scanner. If it was so stiff with no wobble or movement, then you user would need to adjust slightly more their finger to get the print just right. But I'm thinking it was designed to have a slight wobble so that it will help conform and read the fingerprint better. Of course I could be wrong, and just speculating.
I'd still be curious to see someone's S6 homebutton wobble. I'd like to compare my wobble with your wobble.
My white s6 has a loose home button also. I had an edge for a little while so could compare the two. The one on my s6 is loose in comparison. By this I mean if you lightly tap it you can hear it...didn't have this on the edge. I've also noticed that on some occasions when I go to wake the phone up the first press on the home button does not always register.

This is happening to me as well. It really bothers me, I've checked with Note 4 and SGs5, the home button is firm. It doesn't soppuse to be loose as there are many S6 with a firm home button.
Here is a video - m.youtube. com/watch?v=Y5FoWeDGQZ4[/url]

I returned 2 Galaxy S6 already... 1st had bad signal second had awful home button felt so cheap.
. Im on my 3rd now it's better but I think the rattle is starting to come back... Also when waking the phone with home button first press does nothing... Very strange
I think the wobbling is because of the fingerprint scanner but I don't remember it on the other S6's I had. I did try some in the store and it seemed the same. I'm hoping it's normal.
I have the same issue
I also have the issue. There isn't any wobble on my girlfriends edge, it feels rock solid, it's also a little more extruded from the device.
Very very slight movement but nothing to shout home about!

My GS6 has wobbly button, but my brother has AT&T GS6 edge and his button is sturdy. So generally speaking my GS6 has defective home button
So, it is worth to replace it, or the chance to get a perfect one is very little?
today i was cleaning my Samsung Galaxy S7 ' s screen with a cloth then i noticed that the home button seemed to slide a little bit in its groove vertically , but it doesn't effect usability at all . but will this affect its water resistant capabilities ?
please answer me i am a little bit paranoid :silly:
My power button is wobbly. Also one of the volume rocker. I was out there in the pool yesterday and tossed it. Pretty stupid but I'm glad my phone didn't die on me. So I guess the only way to find out is to test it.

I don't think so. Do you have a picture of it? Then we can maybe see how much it's slide now.
Considering how common a 'wobbly' home button is, I don't think there's anything to worry about. There's a lot of adhesive around the inner part of home button which effectively keeps the water from seeping into the phone and that should keep your phone water resistant, even if there's a tiny bit of play between your home button and screen glass.
JerryRigEverything shows this adhesive in his Note 7 teardown around 5:45 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiksU8Afr-4
