I don't know if anyone here uses dropcap to get screen captures. I have tried to get a screen capture several times only to find that the picture is of the lg booting screen. Anyone else run into this same problem?

there is a way to take screen shot on the G2x without any other app, just press the home button and the power button at the same time and the phone will take a screenshot of the active screen.

Where in the directory structure does it save the screenshots?
EDIT: Found it. /sdcard/CapturedImages
Is there a way to flip the edge panel 180 degrees by default? It just seems like it should be flipped

I wish! Makes no sense the way it is, especially when the night clock is the right way up but nothing else is.
Only thing I have found to work (temporarily) is to open an app that can be rotated, then turn your phone so the edge is at the bottom, and then shut the flip cover. Now anything on the edge is the right way up. But as soon as you open an app the right way up again (or go home) then it goes upside-down again.
This is for those people that do not bother to go into phone settings. Go into the edge panel settings and check the box that says FLIP EDGE PANEL 180 DEGREES...REALLY????

Where is that option?? When I go to Edge settings there is no checkbox for flip panel 180 degrees! Are you in left-handed mode or something? Any chance of a screenshot please?
Believe this is only for use with screen rotation. Maybe you should try it first before you claim you kno what you are talking about. Tried to insert screenshot but isnt working

I have the i9505 and I recently received the lollipop update on Vodafone Ireland.
I am missing some features such as ambient display and screen pin, this is very annoying as I was looking forward to these the most.
Did my carrier or Samsung decide to leave them out? And if so how can I get them back?

Screen pin lockscreen should be there i have it on btu 5.0.1 ,as for ambient display i dont think samsung added this feature maybe on note 4 and s5 dunno

No that is not what I mean . screen pinning is when u can pin an active app to the screen and you can't quit it. It is useful when you are handing the phone to a friend.
Oh I see what you mean now and BTU does not have this feature nexus does though maybe in next update it might come.

The S4 does not support full ambient display. The "turn screen on when the phone is picked up" part doesn't work on the S4. Hardware limitations.

CM12 is known for adding custom features..
Also, I watched a 5.1 review and the guy said something about screen pinning being back or that it has a screen pinning feature. Something along those lines.
I don't have it on my 5.0.1 GPE rom

Anyone know a way to get rid of the delay between when you hit the button to take a picture? My camera takes a few seconds to focus before it takes the shot, which always leaves you missing something in the moment. My wife has an m8 as well on another carrier but don't see the same lag there.
