hey sorry if this has been posted before.
if i try updating any rom with update.zip it gives the following errors
errror mounting sd card
cant mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1
I have the same error, i can't make an update zip or backup my rom.
Please help
Edit: mmcblk0p1 is the sdcard, i tried with an other sdcard and i got no error, so i formated it and now it work

earlier i had to maunally transfer all the files in update.zip to the internal phone memmory now its just one click away
I am having Micromax Funbook running clean ICS which I flashed via Live Suite

Installed CWM recovery and everything was working fine... I recently installed ROM manager and I guess from then, I am getting this strange errors
Now, I am unable to restore any recovery using CWM v5.5.0.4
It always pops error as "Error mounting /sdcard!" when I select restore from internal sdcard.
Actually Micromax Funbook tablet has internal storage of 4GB in total
Also when I tried to wipe dalvik cache, this error pops out: "Unable to open ums lunfile (No such file or directory) Dalvik cache wiped"

Help me please. i have the 16gb ideapad a1 07
I rooted it (so no warranty) and downloaded CWM Recovery
then i tried to download the ICS update but it kept bootlooping at the lenovo screen
so i tried to resore it to GB by useing gmarkall's method in the lenovo forum
these are the errors i get when i try to do ANYTHING:
"error mounting /sdcard"
'cant mount /emmc/
'unable to write to ums lunfile (no such file or directory)
so mounting it to the computer is IMPOSSIBLE!
I did make a backup but the restore wont work.
i also tried to use an external sd card but no luck
is the device completely bricked??!!
i flashed my micromax a60 with adt, using rom jetmod2.2.. now i am facing several problems such as wifi not working,cant able to connect usb, sd card is not showing, and main thing i cant see any changes in my about phone its still in android 2.1 version.. now i tried to do backup and also to install some other rom but i cant..
i got errors such as
E:can't mount/cache
E:can't mount/cache/recovery/log
and some other errors and also i tried to flash it using adt but its not working saying no device found.. but my mobile is connected to the system. pls help me to recover my phone..

What firmware were you currently running? And what firmware backup is it?

i tried to mount system but that obtion is diabled, i cant select any of the mount obtion except for sd card..
