Help me please. i have the 16gb ideapad a1 07
I rooted it (so no warranty) and downloaded CWM Recovery
then i tried to download the ICS update but it kept bootlooping at the lenovo screen
so i tried to resore it to GB by useing gmarkall's method in the lenovo forum
these are the errors i get when i try to do ANYTHING:
"error mounting /sdcard"
'cant mount /emmc/
'unable to write to ums lunfile (no such file or directory)
so mounting it to the computer is IMPOSSIBLE!
I did make a backup but the restore wont work.
i also tried to use an external sd card but no luck
is the device completely bricked??!!

I am looking over how I'll recover my gtab in an emergency, and I have moved a backup I have done in Clockwork mod to the MicroSD card I received recently. Today I booted into ClockWork mod, and tried to mount the 'external' card with "mount /sd-ext" and get this error:
E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
(No such file or directory)
Error mounting SDEXT:!
Am I doing something wrong here?

i beleive that in the case you are preparing for what you would do is backup the file to a computer. When you need to copy it back to the device for restoring you would enter CWM and mount usb under mounts/storage and plug your tab into your computer using the smaller usb port on the tab. this will allow for copying from your computer to the internal memory of the tablet. then you can unmount usb and restore your backup. If i'm wrong someone please correct me.
Ah yesh just tried that with mine in CWM, man CWM is several layers of awesome!
I am having Micromax Funbook running clean ICS which I flashed via Live Suite

Installed CWM recovery and everything was working fine... I recently installed ROM manager and I guess from then, I am getting this strange errors
Now, I am unable to restore any recovery using CWM v5.5.0.4
It always pops error as "Error mounting /sdcard!" when I select restore from internal sdcard.
Actually Micromax Funbook tablet has internal storage of 4GB in total
Also when I tried to wipe dalvik cache, this error pops out: "Unable to open ums lunfile (No such file or directory) Dalvik cache wiped"

I got a Samsung Tab GT-P6210 having software issue. Tired flash stock firmware using ordin but when the firmware into recovery before complete it failed.
When i flash CWM recovery v6.0.0.8 into my tab i couldn't mount my sd card and only able to see files inside internal sdcard but when i tried to install it show:
E: unknow volume
E: can't mount
Installation aborted.
Need help guys

i have installed cyanogenmod but then i started having problem so i rebooted then wipe cleaned files and formatted sd-card after that i cannot mount my sd-card plz help

Iam also facing the issue with the Internal memory .
I have flash my handset, and now iam not able to access the internet memory, This phone dose not has the SD Card.
My USB is not mounting in Windows/laptop. There is a write issue in USB Storage.

I have rooted my device(Micromax A106 unite 2) long back and now When I flashed MIUI ROM in the device, I lost imei number. Today I accidentally formatted the device with the help of sp flash tool. Now my device is not even starting and the recovery also showing:
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/Last_log
I have tried so many recoveries to work out, but all useless.
And the most important thing is, I am not able to restore the backed up data. I have

kr-stock-conf
userdata_20150130_230923.backup
files which I backed up.
Please help me out How to restore the backup or any other solution to get rid out of this.

Sideload MIUI (or any ROM) to the device using ADB on your PC & see if it helps
