Can't send/receive MMS (US Cellular) - Galaxy S6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know that this is probably an APN settings issue, however, it appears US Cellular has disabled access to that setting. Is there anyway around it and any other US Cellular users experiencing issues?
Here is a picture of my screen in the settings where it is usually located.

APN Change
Hi I am using a US Cellular S6 on Verizon so needed to do something similar.. You can use an app to change APN. It's called APN change.

[Q] Switching Network Profile

Hi guys, first post here...been reading for a while though.
I have a bit of a problem with my LG Optimus Quantum. It was prepaid on Bell (Canada), so I unlocked it and have been using it with my Fido SIM. I can get SMS and calls to work, caller display works periodically, and MMS cannot work at all. If I set the APN I can also get 3g to work (but I don't have data so I leave it off).
I tried switching the network profile in MFG but where there should be a list of XML files there is nothing..just a black area.
Is there a way I can edit the xml file with the network configuration? I noticed after viewing it still points to all the bell mms servers and such. There is also nowhere for me to add proxies to the APN for the mms in the MFG.

[Q] HowTo DISABLE LTE (AT&T)

I noticed today that in gaining LTE (already on an LTE plan with ATT, was using LTE on my N4 just fine) I lost the ability to DISABLE LTE and (more specifically) use wap.cingular as an APN. I've done reset to defaults, checked settings and compared to my N4, nothing. I can actually disable LTE, but even on forced HSPA+, I can only connect via PHONE, not WAP.CINGULAR APN. This is important as wap.cingular bypasses throttling and also does not count toward the throttle counter. Any help would be appreciated. Otherwise I'll have to leave to Tmo which...is an option but a last resort.
SOLVED!
I found an Xposed Framework module called Wedymod. Link http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.wedy.mod
In this module is an option called "Do Not Prefer APN". After selecting this and rebooting, the phone obeys the APN I tell it to use (wap.cingular in this case). I'd love to pick apart this module and figure out how/what it's doing specifically if anyone else has the skills I'd love to see it done. Enjoy guys!

you can go Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Preferred Network Type Select 3G
Then under Access point names add a new APN for wap.cingular and name it AT&T 2 or AT&T Bypass Throttle and select and enable it
i dont see why you need an xposed stuff for this..

Actually I spoke too soon, it did NOT solve my problem. Upon further testing (deleting all non-wap.cingular apns) I still can't get a connection unless I add back pta or phone. Can you confirm what plan you're on? I'm on LTE Unlimited as my plan code and I CANNOT connect on wap.cingular over 3G. I can do it over 2g (not on LTE obviously) but the phone will NOT allow me to connect via 3g to wap.cingular. My i9100 has no problem with this.

[Q] Can LAC and CID values be changed?

I am in Australia using a SIM MOD Photon Q on the Telstra Network.
I have noticed that when entering *#*#4636#*#* in phone settings:
Location: LAC= 3250 CID=13a0105
Using Network Signal PRO (This is what my network towers in the area are)
LAC=12880
See this post for screen shots: http://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/Android/XT897-Motorola-Photon-Q-4G-LTE-Can-Recieve-MMS-but-will-not-Send/td-p/279597
My phone is working on mobile data, calls and sms.
I need Google Hangouts to send MMS but receive them fine.
When trying to use the Testra Foxtel App, it will not allow me access, I am guessing it is because of unmatching LAC:
Does anyone have any experience with this and if so is it able to be changed?
Is there a way of fooling the Telstra Network to allow access?
I have done much internet searching for this issue to no avail.

Any one have the Metro PCs APN settings?

I have and Unlocked Verizon S6 and I cannot get the correct apn settings. The MMS and calling works. I can not find an APN that makes the internet work also. The phone is not rooted.

v20 says "mobile network unavailable

First time poster and a real newby when it comes to tweaking phones.
I have an unlocked LG V20 which I purchased (and really like) from T-Mobile. I am trying to use it with Consumer Cellular. I have gotten it to work sometimes but it connects very seldom.
I had to set up the APN settings manually which seems weird but like I said, it works - sometimes.
Currently, I cant seem to send texts or even call anyone. The phone says it's registered on the network.
I was having an issue with it de-selecting the APN settings I had made (and saved) for Consumer Cellular. As it was a T-mobile phone, I figured it was trying to go back to the T-Mobile APN so I figured out how to delete the T-Mobile APN. I also deleted all other APN choices except the one I had made for Consumer Cellular. Now it seems to keep the CC APN selected but only for a short time. After awhile, it will de-select the APN so there is no APN selected at all.
Now it cant make calls at all
I am also getting an "er082" error (red phone icon) regarding WiFi calling.
Any help would be much appreciated. I really like this phone and would like it to work
Thanks,
Jim
