This thread is a work in progress. I'll post here info about our phone. How to root, how to backup, how to flash, etc...
A HUGE Thank you for your patience & your work @lopestom
INFO
This device is very similar (almost identical) to the Gionee M3 phone, so a lot of tutorials and ROMs for that device will also work for our device. However, as usual, READ first, before you end with a bricked phone.
It seems that the only difference between the D810L and the D810U is that the D810U also has a 1700 Mhz band, so, if you flash the wrong ROM and you're using that band, you'll loose connectivity. However, the modem drivers can be replaced cross ROMs.

Stock ROM TWRP Backup Blu_D810u_V03_GENERIC_15-01-2015 00:03 by @jabe78This is a TWRP Backup. You must unzip it into the backups folder of TWRP and then restore it using TWRP Recovery on your phone. This is not a flashable zip.

TWRP 2.8.4.0 Jawad by @lopestom MD5: 9658c8377071cf936f95eb7ddb530f85 Please check on Mount that the external storage is selected, and also when you do backups, always check that the external storage is selected.
Philz by @lopestom MD5: a0b71f399200795ad662a2c2e083bbf8 You need to mount /sdcard1 and do backups there. Also, check on settings and disable sceen timeout, since when the screen goes off, it won't turn on again.
KERNEL
These are the kernel sources downloaded from the FTP provided in this post, and uploaded to MEGA. I don't know if this works or not yet, please if someone with proper knowledge can check it, let us know.

ROOT
The only tool that works out of the box to root our device is KINGOROOT.
Download, install and run. If you have driver problems, you can try installing PdaNet+ software. This procedure does work on windows 8.
Please let me know if you have any problems or if some info is missing, since I'd experimented a lot until I could root the phone, and I installed a lot of crap in the process.

BACKUP
You can find the necessary links on the first post, under Resources.
To create backups, you'll need to do the following first:
Root your phone.
Enable USB Debugging on your phone.
Enable apps from unknown sources (under settings->security).
Install and enable adbd insecure on your phone.
Install PdaNet+ on your computer.
Install MTK Droid Root & Tools on your computer.
Once you've done those steps, you'll see your device information when you open MTKDroid Root & Tools, and you can proceed.
To create a backup, please follow this guide: LINK. Don't download anything from that post, it isn't necessary. Just follow the steps.
NOTE: I'm not sure if you need to install busybox, since I'd installed a lot of thinks to make it work. If this guide doesn't work for you, please install busybox from the play store and let me know, so I can update this post.
WARNING: THIS WILL NOT WORK UNDER WINDOWS 8 !! Use WIN7 or XP.

Flash ROM or Recovery
You can find the necessary links on the first post, under Resources.
To flash a backup, ROM or Recovery, you'll need to do the following first:
Install MediaTek USB Vcom Drivers.
Download an extract SP Flash Tool 3.1344.0.212.
Download the Android Scatter File (or you can get it from any MTKDroidTools backup)
Power off the phone
Once you've done those steps, open SP FlashTool and select the Android Scatter File in scatter-loading.
You'll see then the things you can restore. If you open the scatter file from a backup, it'll automatically prepare everything to restore that backup. Don't change ANYTHING, and click "Download".
When the software is ready, plug the phone and it will do the magic. You need to wait until a green circle pops up and says "Download OK".
Then you're good to go.
To restore a recovery only (or install TWRP for example), do the above steps but untick everything except RECOVERY. then click on the recovery word and it'll ask you for a new route. Search and select the recovery.img for the TWRP, and then proceed with clicking download and then plug the phone, and you'll have the recovery.
WARNING: All the things I've done where using the backup as a source for the scatter file. I've uploaded the file so if you know what you're doing, you don't need the full backup. If you don't know what you're doing, download the backup and select the scatter file from there.

How do I recover my phone using one of these, I cant seem to get the SP Tools to do anything on my device!

We are working on getting an official TWRP recovery for the BLU studio Energy, the one I am using currently was built for the Gionee M3 device...its a little buggy in my opinion, but it does the job. You can look in the 1st post of that thread to see how it is done using the flashify app. If you need further help flashing it, just ask.

Ok thanks. I hope it comes out soon, I cant update to the newest build because I am missing the Amigo_Calender.apk and I cant seem to restore it without a full restore from TWRP.

If you're rooted, can't you use ES File manager and place it into /system/app and then fix permissions? I can upload it if you need the apk

What device do you have?
D810L or D810u? I have a link to both the Amigo calendar APK & Odex, but I have the d810u version. Like was just mentioned, you may be able to just copy and paste using a root browser.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but...
3G: UMTS 850 / 1900 / 2100 MHz (SIM 1) (D810L)
3G: UMTS 850 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 MHz (SIM 1) (D810U)
The "u" has the extra 1700 baseband. That's the only difference I am aware of. So if you have a "u" and flash a backup for an "l" you would in theory loose the ability to receive signal on that band, and hope your carrier doesn't use it. I have already seen posts from those encountering that problem. Restoring a backup from "u" should correct it however. In theory... Lol

MIUI
How about porting MIUI to start with?
I am already running MIUI Home Launcher and it is a breeze. Do you have any experience with porting ?
I looked at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1827256 and it looks straight forward. What I am not sure is how much these applications depend on the underneath framework.. I mean, If I take all these apk and libraries, will it work on this stock Gionee Dream D1 ROM ?

Did you install the MediaTek drivers from the link above? Make sure you dont have the phone connected in the PDANet+ (Right click on the System Tray icon and click on disconnect. Also make sure you have USB debug enabled, under Settings->Developer Options.
If all the above fail try restarting the system and try to connect the phone to a different USB port on your computer.
let me know the results.

I have followed your instructions to the word. The YGDP download program keeps getting stuck after pressing 'Apply' after selecting the CPB file and version.
Moreover, the drivers that you have given are ADB drivers. I have installed them prior to all this. But my s5+ still doesn't get detected after I connect it to my PC without the battery. It says the driver installation failed. I forgot what was the device name that was being shown.
Could you please help me out. I have accidentally deleted certain system applications and need to get them back. Thanks.
The problem seems to be about drivers, if your phone is not identified, it wont flash, as i have installed a lot of drivers, my devices was detected automatically,
also make sure opened the program with admin rights.
As I do not have the phone with me, I could not do a trouble shoot with you, try to go to device manager and update drivers manually from local folder.

thanks. will try that. But apart from that the flashing program has an issue as well. I'm running it on a 64 bit win 7 machine and I'm opening it with admin rights as well. also I need to open it in compatibility mode for windows XP. after hitting apply on the ROM selection screen it freezes. I guess that has nothing to do with the drivers as the phone isn't even connected yet.
any idea what's causing this?
Thanks for such an informative tutorial. I have this phone. From where can I download Custom ROMs like Cyanogenmod for it? Btw, are you getting poor camera quality by any chance?
Hats off sir

I received a karbonn devices, which was soft bricked, and did not find much assistance by contacting them.
Here is the procedure to flashing the stock 4.2.2 firmware.
Download necessary files:
1. Firmware 4.2.009.P1.131118.7295MI01
2. Flashing tool: YGDP_Setup_V3.31_131028_02_Customer
3. Drivers if required
http://www.4shared.com/folder/zSTN87aV/Karboon_S5plus.html
1. Extract the zips
2. Install the flashing tool YGDP_Setup_V3.31_131028_02_Customer.exe 9make sure you right-click and grant it administrator privilege)
3. Right-click and open as administrator the newly created YGDP icon in your desktop
Password : 9527
4. Select [config] button
5.
5.1
(see pic below) Select your firmware file which should be:
Code:
4.2.009.P1.131118.7295MI01.CPB
(note that it should end with CPB extension)
5.2
(see pic below) select customer as 7295MI01
6. Press [APPLY]
7. Select [START]
8. Connect your phone without the battery
Now the update procedure would start and when it is complete without errors disconnect, insert battery and boot your devices.
If it encounters any problem repeat the process.
Rooting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2572238
If that procedure fails you could use MTK rooter.

he also sent me a few other ROMs..
Here are links for ROMs compatible with karbonn titanium s5 plus :

For some of the ROM downloads, you need to log into the respective sites...
Eg: You need to log in to your google account to download the Samsung Galaxy S5 ROM and the Xperia Z v2 ROM
Thanks mainly to the thunderboys team and all other developers of the respective ROMs whom I haven't mentioned.

Yep. My phone is fixed....
Had to go to the service center though....

edit 4:
The MIUI ROM and the Sony Xperia v2 ROM work properly. For people who have boot issues, doing a full data wipe/factory reset through the recovery will solve that problem... MIUI is pre rooted, but chainfire's SuperSU app is not installed and there is no keyboard app. The Sony Xperia v2 ROM has SuperSU installed and works properly. However, a high amount of patience is needed to wait for the ROMs to boot up...
As mentioned by cybercrawler, the internal/external swap supposedly works, and appears to be already applied in these ROMs... so, if you are going to flash a new ROM, you had better undo this change...
The clockworkmod recovery file works too, as seen in the screenshots uploaded by cybercrawler... thanks to him for testing that out.
I shall be uploading some screenshots of these in a few days. Both the ROMs run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, and the MIUI ROM has a update scheduler app, so I'm guessing it can be updated to 4.4 Kitkat. Anyway... if anybody knows how to bypass Dropbox Error 509 ( This account's public links are generating too much traffic and are temporarily disabled ), please download the Xperia Z v1 ROM and upload it to Google Drive... I shall be uploading the MIUI v5 ROM to Google Drive within the next few weeks...

well, if you have any custom recovery images, you could do it through fastboot ( fastboot flash recovery nameofrecovery.img )
else, if you have flashable recovery zip files, you could do it through adb sideload in recovery...
try twrp recovery... touch based recoveries are good for karbonn devices
take a backup of your current rom ( and recovery if possible ) first...
make sure that you know any karbonn service centre near you who can fix your phone if it gets bricked.
( i'm telling you so because when my karbonn titanium s5 plus bricked, it took a week and a half to get the phone serviced at the service centre. )
find some roms compatible with your device, and make sure you dont install new fonts or anything like that. rooting is okay...
try this link for karbonn roms
"goo .gl/ p0QK1m"
(remove the quotes and no spaces)
oh, and does anybody have an idea of creating a one-for-all rom that would work on any android device, be it tablet or smartphone ?
it could have the most basic features and could be based on android 4.4 kitkat....
it's purpose is mainly for backup... just in case no other rom is compatible with a certain phone and you can't find the stock rom anywhere...
please reply to my gmail id if you have any idea of doing so....
rajju 3004 @ gmail . com

Note: Never ever change or add any new fonts to a Karbonn device...

You can create your own CWM my friend.
1. You have to use MTK Droid Tools to get the Block Map for the phone. Download and install MTK Droid Tools. Turn your phone on and make sure the USB Debugging is on. Now connect the phone to your computer via a USB cable. MTK Droid will recognize the phone. Now, just click the Blocks Map button and click the Save button to save the scatter.txt file in a directory you make. You will need the scatter.txt file in the next step. This step only works for a rooted phone. Your phone is rooted so you can do this. (For those who don't have root access, there is a button on the bottom of the MTK Droid window to temporarily root the phone...but it may not work). DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE FROM THE COMPUTER. And turn your phone OFF.
2. Next you must use SP Flash Tool to make a backup of the complete ROM. SPF will ask you to select the scatter.txt file. Once you select it, select the Read Back tab. Click on the Add button. It will create a record to indicate what you want to back up. Click on the file name and you then select the folder where you want to place the ROM (it is automatically named ROM_0). Then it will ask you for the starting address and the length. The starting address is 0x0. To determine the length of the backup, you have to read the scatter.txt file. Look at the "linear starting address" of the Cache partition. That is the number you want to use for the length. You write it like this "0xnnnnnnnn". Then click enter. So now the SPF knows what you want to backup from the phone and where it will store the backup.
3. Next, click the Read Back button. The SPF is now waiting for you. There's no need to rush. Turn your phone off (if you haven't turned it off yet). REMOVE the battery from your phone. Connect the USB cable from the computer to the phone then put the battery back in the phone. Do NOT turn the phone on. The SPF will then backup your ROM. This step could take almost an hour to finish. Go make yourself a nice cup of coffee.
4. When the backup is done, you will see a big green OK dialog. You can now disconnect the phone. Your backup is saved as ROM_0 in the folder you selected. Now go back to MTK Droid Tools. Turn your phone back on. Make sure USB Debugging is still on. Connect the phone to the USB cable again. Once MTK Droid Tool recognizes the phone, go to the Root, Recovery tab. Click the button that says "Process ROM from the file." It will ask you to select the ROM_0 file you just backed up. This process will turn your ROM_0 into the partition files that make up your firmware. During this process, it will ask you if you want to make the CWM recovery!
Let the whole process complete. It could take a half hour or more. When it is done. The firmware and the CWM image will be in the MTK Droid folders. Just look through the folders under MTK Droid on your hard disk drive.
Please, when you are done, share the scatter.txt file and the CWM recovery.img with us.
And don't forget to click the Thank You button if this helped you in any way.

No. At this point, the CWM recovery image has been created in one of the folders on the computer. You next have to install it on the phone via SP Flash Tool.

There may be a problem. I tried to use a SKY 4.0D with MTK Droid Tools. For some reason, it doesn't work. I think there's an issue with the kernel. This means that someone needs to port this phone's recovery to CWM or TWRP. Hopefully, someone has already done this...but the community/developer support for these devices is non-existent unfortunately.
Once the custom recovery is available, you have to flash it onto the device, either with SP Flash Tool (you just need the scatter.txt file which you xan get from MTK Droid), or you can root your phone, install Busybox, and install Flashify to flash it to the phone.
IDEA: Start a separate XDA thread for SKY devices. They are cheap but beautiful devices. Maybe some technical folks who are skilled in porting recoveries may show up just for the challenge.

BTW, you should share your CWM image on say Mega.nz and post up the link so others less skilled can download and flash it. It really helps, and you'll be thanked profusely.
Also, please consider sharing what rooting program or method you used to properly root your phone. My preferred method for properly rooting MTK devices is to first flash a custom recovery using SPFT, then install SuperSu zip from the SD card. This way, I'm not having to deal with or replace Chinese super user programs.

STEP 1. Download MTK droid tools. I rooted the SKY 5.0Q with Kingo root I than used MTK droid tools to fully root the device by clicking the root button. STEP 2. Back up the phone using droid tools, its going to ask you if you want CWM built into the recovery make sure to click yes. During the process it will ask if you want to flash the new recovery image, go ahead and click yes. STEP 3. Your phone should now be rebooting into CMW now, go through it to make sure it works correctly. If it doesnt then re flash the NEW recovery boot.img that you just made.
*PLEASE NOTE: SuperUser is automatically put onto the device when rooting with Kingo root.*

Did you turn on the USB Debugging? When you connect your phone (with Debugging on) you will need to respond to the dialog that pops up on your phone to allow the computer to have access! If you do not turn on debugging or is you do not respond to this dialog, MTK Droid will not be able to see your phone.

After much hardwork @codelover and I are pleased to release both stock rom as well as TWRP 2.8.6.0

SPFT (Windows Version) “linux version coming soon”
Correct Scatter File

Question: How do I know which variant I have?
Ansere:
Method #1
From a booted android, goto Settings > About > Build number
You should see something like this.
RCT6773W22-ANDROID4.4.2-3101-V38-V1.8.0
Method #2 (Better & more accurate)
For this your device must be rooted & already have USB Debugging Mode enabled.
Make sure adb.exe has been installed on your system (computer).
Execute the following adb command:
Code:
adb shell
su
cat /proc/cmdline
then search for ‘lcm’ text in the output:
If lcm=cpt_clap070wp03xg_lvds < you need to use v31 files
If lcm=1-lxjc070whm270_18a_rgb < you need to use v38 files
Question: What if I dont remember which variant I have and can’t access adb?
Ansere: If this is the case we will need to use SP Flash Tool to help identify your variant.
Open SF Flash Tool, load V38 scatter and switch to ‘Read Back’ tab. Clear all then click Add,
Click the new item & change the output file name from ROM_0 to ROM.txt,
edit the readback address as below:
Start Address: 0x9000000 / Length: 0x1000
Then press “Read back” button, now connect the tab while powered off.
When it’s done, open the file with wordpad and check if you have “ANDROID” at the beginning of the file, if your answer is yes then you have V38, otherwise use V31.

Note: Watch your tablet as you're doing this. You may have to grant su permissions on the tablet after executing the "su" command in adb.
I tryed using sp flash tool to flash but I couldn't get it to work is there another flash tool I could use thx

I can't say as to why but you do need the self education one can learn about how to use spflash tool,, seeing as that's the way that I know that's the first info I could offer ,,, you should get your version information first, then download your ROM because the scatter file that had reports of best results are in the full firmware, and you then need to know that the reset button will bring up a driver install but it happens fast to catch this you need the device manager in windows open, plug the rct in then press reset with a tothpick or other small pin ect,, the device shows up with a sound chimes on windows, right click the new device in the USB group and install using the hosted driver,,, now to the spflash tool its self load the scatter in the full ROM related to the vershion you have and then only check recovery,,, and find the twrp.IMG in you downloads and use only the download option in the spflashtools,, and click download then Right after hit reset on the back of the tablet,,, it can be done ,,,, even for the new people wanting to learn,,, regarding the twrp, installer.exe I linked to, I have no knowledge it was only reported to be a full success by another user before you so I wanted to offer a fast way for others to find it ,, so I linked to the .exe,,, and lastly ON MY TABLET I HAVE TO BE ON A CHARGER TO LAUNCH RECOVERY AT BOOT USING VOLUME KEY,..and you can download a root reboot apk that will boot from inside android directly into recovery,, maybe I helped,,,, p.s. another great thing the full ROM offers is the original OEM recovery.. Pleas do try to learn. As always i do wish every one the best

Vodafone Smart first 6* NL *(EU) Rooting and More!
Done & Closed! After a wild chase finding the correct tools and apk's this took me 2 days to complete an fully rooted and Simlock free Vodafone branded Smart Firt 6.
Most of the files can be downloaded from below here on XDADISCLAIMER:
Rooting your phone and using custom Recoveries and ROM's have risks and may Void your warranty and can result in bricking your device, and has nothing to do with Google or the device manufacturers. In case of any mishap I am not responsible if you brick/ruin your phone in any way.
Basic computer skills are required and minimal knowledge about the phone and phone utilities also.
Make sure that whatever you do, you are doing it at your own responsibility.
It may be that you get an *softbrick *(bootloop) because Vodafone still pushing update's for their Firmware patching and upgrading the software!
To be safe please use methods given by: Androrooter and or Kirito9 !
#Rooting:
1# Download the root.apk onto your phone or SD card and install.
2# Now start the app and you will see it's all in Chinese, just click on the Root Shield Badge ontop of the screen.
3# Let it do its magic installing the scripts most likely it will auto reboot your phone without rooting it,
you must restart the root app again and click on the Badge (like done at step 2#).
~Now you are Rooted but the Superuser is Chinese and what i have noticed it's a temporary Root, if you lose root again just redo step 2#!
4# Download and install SuperSu-2.46 now launch an root app most likely the Chinese app will popup granting
for root permission, you must click on the colored (grant) button to accept.
5# Download an Root browser i.e. File Manager and let it gain Root permission, if SuperSu wont ask for Root it's now save to uninstall the Chinese app.
~From now on you permanently Rooted, don't go installing/modding stuff yet until you made an systems backup!
#Twrp or Cwm Recovery (PC version):
1# Download ADB Driver and install on PC. Download from here; http://www.datafilehost.com/d/2267ab98
2# Download TWRP Setup (thanks to Dees_Troy & Yuweng) and unzip on your PC.
3# Activate USB debugging under developer mode* and connect with USB to your PC.
(done by *tapping 7 times on the build number in the about phone section)
3a# Open the Twrp setup.exe and click on the next button.
3b# Just wait till the installation is completed followed by credits.
3c# On the next window, click on yes to proceed.
3d# Select Start Easy Magic TWRP Installer for MediaTek and click on ok
3e# Click on Yes to auto port.
3f# Now make sure your phone is connected, adb driver installed and usb debugging enabled, then click on OK.
~if you get any pop up msg on your phone screen just click on yes.
Just wait for a few seconds while the setup is been completed,
if the process was successful, your phone should automatically reboot into recovery.
~Now you need to make an full backup with Twrp so that all the files are safe!
#More Updates following Soon! To be safe please use methodes given by: Androrooter and or Kirito9 !

Kingroot 4.8 worked, so I ran the TWRP Setup and guess what another way to ruin the phone even further. Stuck in a boot loop now.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUYS GUIDE! It will most likely break your phone from start to finish!
Please provide a reset copy of your system.img and recovery.img for people who have lost their phones due to this guide, it would be very useful as the devices can be restored if adb / fastboot access can be achieved.

Well well QuantumRevenger,
Sorry to hear that this method didn't worked out nicely for you.
Maybe your firmware got upgraded and the recovery didn't stick?!
Did you try the combination Power + Vol Up while the phone is off and enter
the Recovery menu clear Cache + Dalvik after this reboot.
I can't help you with the systems files because i ditched the vodafone firmware for Vanilla 4.4.2 Android.
The only thing i can do for you is point to this thread where i moved towards myself-> MTK devices
Here you will learn an little how your MTK device works, also you can search XDA for an different Easy Magic TWRP or CTR or even Philz!
Enjoy

Good luck!
Do you know if this will also work on the UK model?

Hello RHodgett,
It most likely would work because this model bought by Vodafone for their (EU) market.
As we all know it's a cheap china phone suited for Vodafone requirements!
~Not speaking for the firmware updates they push once an while~
But rooting can be done very easy with the given root from my post or even now with the updated
Kingroot 4.8 said by QuantumRevenger. And like for the custom recovery it can get tricky mentioned by QuantumRevenger, i had no problem with this at that moment.
But i urge you to read my answer to QuantumRevenger problem from above, after that you can decide at your own risk.
Enjoy
&
Good Luck!
Thanks, I'll give this a go when the handset arrives in a few days and report back.
Can you explain how to then install the Vanilla 4.4.2 Android firmware? (or any other suitable stock firmware for the device)

No Problem & you're welcome!,
For flashing roms you need an custom recovery otherwise you can't Flash.
Nobody here is tailoring for our Vodafone branded(China) smart first 6 so you have to go where i send QuantumRevenger towards and where i am. (See post answering QuantumRevenger).
Here you can use the roms and learn more about our MTK devices in general.
For flashing roms you must install in the recovery as an zip file and then you're done!
MTK has other methodes to install but that's for advance users only.
Enjoy
&
Goodluck.
Hi, I've root using the Chinese apk and root checker says the device is rooted but I wasn't able to install SuperSU 2.46, it keeps saying the binaries need to be updated and it fails every time I update.
Rebooting using the TWRP setup just shows the Powered by android splash. I'm not sure what to do now?
Edit: Ok I've flashed a recovery from the threads you linked, finally got a bootloader working. Now to flash a ROM Got CM12.1 running, thanks!
DID not work for me
So I followed all the steps and everything seemed to work fine. The TWRP software said it was going to reboot into recovery but it is stuck at the android logo screen.
When I hold power button + up key its the same, stuck at the android screen.
When I hold power button + down key it boots into vodafone android.
I'm kind of stuck to what to do now (sorry I am really new to this)?

Darn that's a bummer! It worked for me and had everything running xposed, SuperSu etc. :/
Try another Magic installer use CWM or Phillz, they can be found here or via google.
So weird i bet Vodafone did a firmware push on there bootloader or not all EU firmwares are the same(dat would be pretty nonlogical).
Sorry for the troubles please try the above solution and report back if that fixed it.
Goodluck!

The root is an normal APK there are only two zip files here; the TWRP and the SuperSu.
TWRP.zip is an magic installer for your PC with the given USB drivers and Debuging turned on(See my guide).
Now SuperSu.zip can only be installed via an custom recovery like TWRP.
I'm noticing you're trying to flash without an
custom recovery?, that's an no go.
1# Root with given or Kingroot 4.8.
2# Install custom recovery TWRP, CWM or Phillz (Must be an magic installer version via PC) all these versions can be found on Xda.
3# Flash SuperSu via custom recovery and replace the first installed Root!
That's all there is to it, no deeper layers on how-to install.

OK got it. THe only way I could get the APK into my phone is via the phones own browser from this site. I could only move from my pc as a ZIP file only. Hence could not install. But now its done. I think I am rooted now. Root checker still says not rooted, but I can use ES file explorer and have managed to remove a few app. Does this mean it is Rooted?
Can I remove the Rooting apk from the phone now without any adverse impact?
I have also managed to load the TWRP on the SD card. IF I want to Flash a rom, how do I go about it? Can you link and stable ROM which I can use? Need a small tutorial.
AND very many mahy thanks for your support on here and input.

Okay Onlydongles,
I don't think you have Root (yet!), Es browser has an side menu.
Here you must scroll down and select Root Explorer, that's the real test if you got Rooted!
If not install Kingroot 4.8 via your phone browser.
For ROMs you have to go where I send everybody towards ->MTK Devices (link given in answers above).
Flashing ROMs is easy done by custom recovery select the downloaded ROM zip and flash with the given creator instructions B).
