There's one thing that bugs me about CM12, and I can't seem to fix it. I installed the latest nightly with the Minimal GApps pack, then I installed Google Search and Google Now Launcher via Play Store. In the Recents Screen there wasn't any search bar (like it should be), but after a reboot a transparent search bar appears. I already tried to uninstall Google search and then to install it again, and I also tried a new reflash, but nothing. Can you help me (screen attached)?
What is your Google App version?

Hi,
I'd just like to find out what the framework name( if that's what you call it) is for the recent apps drawer. I have nova launcher beta installed if that makes a difference.
Recently downloaded xposed framework and tinted status bar for cyanogenmod 11 on the nexus 7 2 running Kitkat. I want to make the status bar and navigation bar on the recent apps to transparent but cannot find the process for it. I cannot find it under Android system or Nova launcher. (com.teslacoilsw.launcher). If anyone know that the process name and under which app/service then that'll be great. Or if it's not a process then how do i make it transparent?
I really don't think it's useful, especially in China where google is sometimes unreachable.
Is there a way different from change a third-party launcher to remove the google search bar?
I've tried to delete the google search app, and the stock launcher can't work
How to remove Google search bar (Ok Google) on Lollipop, but just the bar, and keep the OK Google voice feature at homescreen?
I was able to do it on KK using xposed, but no more.
use a different launcher (like Apex or Nova etc)
I have a problem with the search function in the recent apps panel. I uninstalled the system Google Search app, but after I noticed it got rid of the widget in the recent apps panel, I reinstalled the app, but it didn't come back.
One picture is how the recent are supposed to look and the other one is how mine looks.
Any idea how to fix? (Apart from flashing a clean stock ROM/factory reset?)
Note: 'Kan widget niet toevoegen' on the picture is Dutch for 'Can't add widget'
Earlier, when I had nova launcher prime , Google play store search was available directly from the search bar in the app drawer, which was helpful in the case when you search an app in the drawer that you haven't installed, you can click the playstore icon and you will be redirected to the store to install it. But, I downloaded nova launcher prime from the store today and found that this option is not working. Is there any way to toggle it on or off or it has been removed from the launcher ?
I am using Nova launcher Prime 5.4-beta2 on Redmi 3s prime MIUI 8.1 global.
I may have posted it in wrong section so please move it to the right one.
Yes, it's gone for me as well. They've added support for an app called sesame shortcuts recently that provides the play store option in app search.
Might be that the feature is broken because of that integration or it might also mean the play store search has been removed and will now only be available through sesame shortcuts.
