Today i noticed that my date is totally strange, it says "4, 4 8"
I have no idea why.
Normally it would be, 8th April, 2015 or something like that.
I tryed to fix this in date and time settings, rebooted few times but no luck.
My phone is sony Xperia L c2105 and it's rooted

Are you using a custom rom? Did you recently changed any region settings or modified something using xposed framework?

Nope, totally stock (too noob to understand all those flashing ROM thing).
Update: now I have to add an event on the 8th to make it reappear again, if not, it just disappears.
Ditch that stock Google calendar app and switch to Sunrise Calendar. It's pretty awesome
One of my friend also have this problem. By the way, this isn't the stock Google Calendar, it's the built-in calendar app.
Hello, I received the notification to update to 5.1 yesterday.
I downloaded it and when try to install it, it said it failed. I´m not sure if its because I´m using a custom rom. I have UBL, root and using Z4 experience.
the thing is that today I notice that my contacts are not showing, if I go to contacts nothing apperas, if I receive a call, it will only show the number as if I didn´t have the contact stored. I checked my accounts and all of them seem to be synced.
Do anyone else have this problem?

Reflashing the rom should solve the problem... (or upgrading to L using flashtools, too)

thanks Linuxct, what do your recommend? I´m using your rom and I´m quite happy with it.
Is L a good option or should I wait until there´s a custom rom based on L?

Note: My bro having android 5.1 also faced it even he didn't root that. but it was solved in few days.
You probably f**ked something up while messing with Xposed or BusyBox.

But I have installed those 20-25 days ago. I got no problem then.
As I said that my bro also faced it even if he wasn't rooted.
Then he would not have messed it.

It's a phone from India which means its some cheap piece of poop that's gonna have a lot of issues. Rooting the phone probably didn't help you with that. My best advice?
Un-Root.
Factory Reset.
Just incase though, what version of Android are you running?

Can anyone help me? My WiFi is still showing up on the battery stats even when I switched it off. It's shows that it's on all the time. I've even did the software repair using Sony bridge and still problem persist. Am I missing out something? I've switched off the scanning available too. Previous android phones have no problems but this Xperia z5..
I'm running on Android 5.1.1.
Build no. 32.0.A.6.152..
Really appreciate your help.

Hi all.
After the first marshmallow update for my Z5 I noticed that whatsapp message count stopped working.
Even after todays update it still doesn't work, which worked perfectly fine before the marshmallow update.
I'm in the stock Xperia launcher.
Any ideas how I can get it back or is it a known change?

It's not just you anyway. I think I saw some more discussions around here about this but I can't remember if this was a Sony or Marshmallow thing...
