Hi guys and gals,
Few hours ago, I tried to root my tablet using a tutorial I found through Google.
When I tried to install the cyanogenmod, it gave me some "status 7 error" and wouldn't let me boot back into the stock android system. Now I'm stuck on CWM recovery mode, can't restore my backup i did previously because of an MD5 mismatch and my computer won't recognize the tablet through USB anymore so I don't know how to get it back to stock again....
Any help is appreciated!

Status 7 is usually caused by having the wrong recovery installed. Flash the 2.8.6.0 version from here. and try flashing the ROM again

hello i seriously need help
ok i think i bricked my phone when i tried to flash a recovery on it.
before my A10 tab (knockoff) never has recovery mode so i tried flashing ics stock recovery.
i rebooted my tab but it never went past the loader (bare in mind that i did this through my tab using novo tools sooo. idk) so i cant access recovery and i cant do nothing so please help. if you ask me i will give you as much information as i can.
:good::good:
I'm using a lenovo s820, rooted, running stock rom and jb 4.2.1
I couldn't find any recovery like cwm or twrp for my phone and I ended up downloading a recovery that said it was a version of cwm for my phone from this app called mobileuncle mtk tools
The app flashed the recovery onto my phone and rebooted into recovery except that it didn't boot into recovery
Now it is stuck in a boot loop where it only shows the lenovo logo but does not boot
I've tried booting into recovery by holding "vol up+vol down+power" but it does the same thing
I tried booting into factory mode but it is in chinese and I cannot understand anything in it
I have a backup of my rom before flashing the recovery but it is stuck in the boot loop even after restoring the backup
I've also searched a lot and can't find a solution to my problem!
I've seen some solutions saying I should flash stock rom using flash tools but there's a big problem here. Flash Tools refuses to flash the stock rom onto my phone. I tried to do it while keeping the phone in meta mode but it wasn't happening.
I've attached the image of the factory mode menu
Please help asap! I can't use my phone at all and I'm panicking and I don't know what to do!!! :crying: :crying: :crying:
Update: I managed to restore clockworkmod recovery on my phone and I tried to restore the stock os from it but it says installation aborted and refuses to install the os :/

I am stuck in TWRP 2.7.0.0 recovery and cant boot into stock rom. This happened after I was installing the Tmobile OTA I received. The phone went to TWRP during the install and now I am stuck in recovery.
I have a backup that I tried to installed using TWRP but when the phone reboots it goes back to TWRP. Help!
Edit:I fixed the problem by connecting phone to PC and phone in download mode. I installed 801C firmware with LG tools.

HEllo, I tied flashing my phone for rooting but since the USB didnt connect as the port is loose, the phone is still in debugging mode
Then I used framaroot from play store and rooted my device .. I used a ROM toolkit and installed a custom boot animation, now my phone is stuck on the bootloop .
I have tried wiping cache partition along with restore to default by going into the recovery mode, but it still doesnt work.
My device is on stock firmware and no custom recovery like CWM or TWRP is installed on it .
Please help .. what should I do next ?
