[Q] Where can I find the Update.zip to use CWM recovery????

Hi,
I would like to make backup of my phone.
So I need to use Nandroid Backup and it seems that I have to install an Update.zip from my recovery mode that change this mode to CWM recovery???
But I don't find this file... Many use Rom manager But if I'm right it need ext4 to work and I haven't Ext4.
can you confirm that Rom manager doesn't work on rfs?
I also know that some Kernel have the CWM but I just want to save my rom as it is and my current kernel haven't CWM.
May be there is an other way to make backup from the recovery??????
Thank you

NANdroid Question

I've made a backup using stock recovery. But I am unable to restore it due to checksum error. Now that I've installed CWM, it doesn't shows that backup file. Is there any way I can have a restore of the my original .backup file?

[Q] regarding cwm backup

NO
i think there is no other way than zip file.
there are few chances of your phone getting brick if you use downloaded backup

[Completed] Backed up with CWM navigating to the folder in restore says "no files"

Hi i need help ASAP,
I backed up my phone with CWM it made a folder as a backup.
When I tried to restore the backup I navigated to the folder and it showed me inside that folder (like there are no files) instaed of starting the backup procces.
one more problem is that now i flashed another ROM with TWR and I didn't know it will be with TWR so I am not sure I can backup CWM with it.
please refer to my 2 questions as it combined.
Can you clarify if CWM is able to restore the Backup ? If its not, then the backup was not made successfully.
To your Question, are you saying you flashed TWRP Recovery and then flashed the new Rom ? If that's the case then the CWM backup can't be restored by TWRP.
EDIT - I should caution you that it is not a good idea to restore the backup made by one Recovery with another.

[Q] Titanium Back

So after using Titanium Backup for years, I just now realized (HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS) that it has a feature to backup your apps and data into a flashable zip. So here I am about to flash a new ROM.
I go into TB make a fresh backup of all my apps, then I go into the batch options again and choose "create "update.zip" from app+data backups". It finishes, I locate the zip in root of my SD card. It's larger than 2 GB, all seems well. I boot into recover, make a TWRP backup, wipe the device, flash the new rom + GAPPS + update.zip (my TB backup). The ROM and GAPPS flash no problem. But an error occurs when trying to flash the TB apps+data backup. I cant figure it out. Am i doing something wrong?
Its probably the updater-script or are you trying to flash it on a Lollipop rom.
