Hello All!
I recently replaced the full case of my verizon sch-i535 for a new brand new case and got this wifi issue. I tried to reconect the wifi antenna to verify if it was the problem but everything was fine. So I reinstall the sofware doing wipe data/factory reset and updated from Kies into 4.4.2 room stock. When I try o power on the wifi switch its turn off and its grayed out! It never turns green or on. Wifi fixer doesn't work. Into service mode, activate wifi power safe mode and nothing. Please I really need help!

I did a factory reset in an attempt to improve battery life. After reboot I realized I had no WiFi. I went into settings and saw it said error, so I tried to cycle it. Now it just sticks in turning on WiFi and never does. I'm rooted and did the WiFi fix before the reset. Please help a brother out!
Hello guys, my brothers tablet seems to have a problem. It cannot connect to the wifi literally. He factory reset the whole thing , and its stocked. But it just randomly happen yesterday when he was playing castle crasher, my tablet seems to be working fine on the router. But the problem is that when i press the button to turn on the wifi, it won't even turn on. It will still disconnect the button. So he cannot even access any wifi or anything. 1. the router is fine, i have multiple tablets running on the wifi just fine. My brother didn't change any setting the tablet is just on stock the whole time LOL ( i know its gross but hey he likes it like that)
2, Yes going into settings and the pull down tab, none of them work when i press it on both the tab down and setting menu, it turns back off.
3. Its not rooted or anything. So i cannot really wipe the cache partition or download one via "wifi"

wiping cache doesnot need rooting you can do that even when your phone is not rooted
Hi all. I have a weird issue that after Googling it doesn't seem anyone else has had.
The issue started earlier today, in the morning. I was using my phone on the WiFi and it was working phone, then my phone crashed, restarted itself.
I noticed it wasn't connected to the WiFi, went to the WiFi settings and where it usually says the list of networks it said "Turning on WiFi" and the slider at the top was greyed out so I couldn't turn it off.
I tried airplane mode and that didn't help. But the phone was working fine on my mobile data so restarted.
Now the weirder part starts. I basically have an issue where, if I turn on the WiFi, my phone crashes, or doesn't act like it's turning the WiFi on.
Even going Settings and then pressing on the WiFi option freezes the phone.
The problem started when I was still using 4.4.4 however since the problem developed I've used my mobile data to download the updates and now have 5.1.1 I think.
The problem persists even after updating to the most recent version and doing a factory restore. The phone is currently completely stock with nothing downloaded on to it. All I did is go through the first time setup for the device.
The WiFi currently is off, and the phone is working however it won't connect to my data, it has the signal bars and then an ! instead of a 4G icon.
If I try to turn the WiFi on it crashes the phone.
The phone is still under warranty so I plan on contacting LG on Monday however it's currently 3:34 AM on a Sunday so I have a day until I can call them and was hoping for a solution in that time.
Thanks in advance. I have the phone to hand so anything you want me to test I'm able to.
There is some information I didn't type as I don't know what is important was trying to avoid a wall of text so if you have any more questions I'll answer I best I can.
Thanks for reading, I hope you can help!
Hello everyone,
I recently encountered an issue with my Nexus 5 that has been driving me crazy for the past couple days.
So basically I was streaming a video on you tube the other night, until my Nexus 5 froze up. My phone was taking way too long to respond, so I decided to hold the power button until the device shut off, and I held the power button again to turn it back on. (duh) As soon as it turned back on, I was no longer able to connect to my home WIFI. So now whenever I try to connect to our home WiFi, I get an "authentication error" and the WiFi network status just comes up as 'saved" instead of "connected". My mobile Data works fine, it's just my WiFi that isn't working anymore. Did I accidentally fry a component within my Device that allowed me to connect to a WiFi network? If there is a fix to this, please let me know ASAP! :crying:
'forget' your wifi network and put in the password again; should fix it.
Do other devices still connect to the same WiFi network?
Rebooted the router?
As above, also forget the network and re-enter the password.
For completeness, test the Nexus on different WiFi networks as well.
Very last resort should be factory reset if you can't get it to connect. If it doesn't connect on fully stock unmodified software, then you have a hardware problem.
Hello,
My phone Samsung S8+ SM-G955F. Wifi and Bluetooth are just stop working after I flashed the firmware G955FXXU3CRGH. In the beginning the bluetooth just stopped working for no reason. For example: When I try to turn it on, the colour is the same instead of turning into ''blue'' colour which is weird. I have tried reset network settings, factory reset, go to safe mode, ... more. But it is the same. (What can be wrong? Component inside of the android? )
And now the wifi function stops to work as well. Everytime I try to turn wifi on in setting menu, the whole mobile resets itself. Have also tried to reset settings, factory, flash another verisions of firmware but no result.
Does anyone know how to fix it? What can be wrong?
Please help me. I preciate every single comment
