hello developers community, i know i might acting like a noob now, but after seeing alot of tutorials on youtube i have decide to ask this :
- It would be possible to install a different kernel and ROM into my Galaxy Note 3 N9006 1.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, 8Gb Internal MTK Device ?
from what i know, the biggest problems will be porting the LCD Drivers in order for my screen to work...
What would be the easiest method and what software do you guys recommend for that ? I wanna be as short as possible with asking dumb question... but i would like to try my luck with this ( i already did a back up of my ROM ) in case i brick the phone...

Sorry mate i don't understand what you mean? Are you trying to buy I9001? that is not allowed here.
Or are you confused about the hardware...then yes I9001 (aka Samsung Galaxy S Plus/+) has MSM8255T running at 1.4ghz so it's better if you search for the device with its name and not the hardware
I mean, i9000 and i9001 cpu only different, so I want to find i9001cpu drive, then replace the i9000 driver inside the cpu, do not know if it works.

not easy mate...and if you're replacing drivers, you'll have to replace the cpu as well xD

it's a good phone but is very difficult to find custom rom. i have alredy rooted my phone and i also installed CW recovery.
at the moment this phone has a Cyanogen rom. I'd like to install a MIUI rom; anybody can help me to do it?

If you are looking for a MIUI rom your best bet is to go to the miui site. My best advise would be to search the internet as most roms are not for China based dual Sim phones.

I would check the MIUI site as no development for those roms are done here due to GPL violations. All the roms here are only translations

Get ahold of the OEM and have them release the kernel source code and see what they say

Who makes the phone? They are the only ones that can release the source code for the kernel. And under the GPL they have to release it.

Something that would be nice is to write on this "thread" all the things we do on this device (installation, rooting and improving)

exactly which Cyanogen rom are you using in this dualsim chinese S810 ?
GT-i9100G (with G at the end) and uses Gingerbread.JPKH8 ROM, 2.6.35.7 [email protected]#2 kernel and I9100GDZKH5 baseband. below are the SC.... PLease suggest where can i find the stock kernel and can we modify the kernel for this phone? have read alot but there is nothing online that can root this particular model... ;(

it helps you in cutomizing your phone and allows you to make changes to default softwares and also you can replace tyhe defualt ones with the other ones available in the market..... rest a pro developer would be able to answer your question in more detail !!!

( xperia neo V ) running on ics 4.0. as i read about it . i learned that is smooth running and lag free and i like the interface so much. kindly please help me to do this . i want to change how my phone performs cause i get too annoyed everytime it is laggy and slow. please help me. i want this rom. teach me how to do this because im a newbie and a average phone user. please.

another question. if i installed this rom. is it stable and hassle free? do i have any other issue's regarding this one? like lag's? application and games incompatabilities etc. is it smooth running?

Just follow the instructions in the second link and then get back to the rom flashing. You'll have to judge for yourself (I wouldn't know).

Dude,nother noobie question . sorry dude. but im confused if i have to do the unlock bootloader thing in that 2nd post ? if i still have to do it. which one do i need to follow. the one with wires and pins? or the one with s1tool ? and one last thing bro. how about the kernel installation? thank you and im sorry asking these nooby questions.

Yes, you do have to do it. The use of the s1tool is a part of the of the same process, so just follow it step by step. The kernel installation is if you are planning to stay of the stock ROM. Since you're going to flash a new ROM, it isn't really necessary.

It's not possible to increase RAM on smartphones as the hardware doesn't support that.
I meant something like memory swapper app or something like that. I found some on net but i dont know if they actualy work. So thats why i am asking here. I know that i cannot just simply put there a new RAM. But something like flashing or a new soft wont work? I am new to these things so i apologize. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You should probably try these swappers and see if they work!
okay. i have some other questions. like i mentioned i have my phone rooted with Kingroot. If i want to unlock bootloader for custom roms do i need to unroot it first or are there some programs to do it even if i have it rooted? and can you point me to some stable custom roms? with all the tutorials and so on? And also some kind of recovery. Thanks in advance
