Hi Guys!
I'm a new member on this forum, so please dont't kill me . I was searching on xda and other forums, and there was nothing about it. So, I wanna to run ubuntu on my Galaxy mini, but OC and stock kernel don't support loop devices. Can You help me with that? I could miss something. I can compile my own kernel but tell me HOWTO.
Thanks a lot
Rafal
sorry for my engilsh (I'm form Poland)
nobody? yea know taht this topic is difficult. But... anyone. Can you show me topic where is written how to build own kernel? with loop support
Hi guys,
I'm new and I hope i'm posting in the right place. I'm having some trouble with my phone and would love a push in the right direction. I'm not getting all of my text messages. I think i'm using a ****ty ROM.
I'm considering a factory reset but would really appreciate your advice.
Here's what i've got on my phone right now:
I've got an ATT SGS3
Android Verson 4.1.1
Kernal
3.0.43-Cyanogenmod-g9891f29
CPU ARMv7 Processor Rev 0 (v7I)
Cyanogen Mod Version
10-20121008-SKANK-d2att (installed via rom manager after rooting)
The main reason I rooted was to have root access for Tasker however I think I may have gotten in over my head with the custom ROM's cause now my tasker is f'ing up too.
again, anyhelp would be appreciated.

If the phone has a removable battery, take it out and see if there is a label under the battery that shows the brand or model number. Perhaps you can Google that model number to find out more.

Is there any type of branding anywhere on the phone that you could post. Also remember as this is a Chinese phone it is most likely that you wouldn't be able to find a stock rom.

Hi, I know this is a Unit purchased in China or from China, I can tell you very simple since I live here, There is probably no way to root it or install a different OS, Unless one of the following is met. 1. You can send the device back to the factory and as them to do it for you. 2. You can physically walk in to the factory and have them flash root files for you. 3. You can develop a boot loader yourself, and have access to flash SU. 4. You have access to the required drivers for your device ex; cpu, wifi, screen, bluetooth etc and make a rom port yourself. 5. You can buy a device that is already supported by a ROM compiler like AOKP, you can search there website under devices to see which devices can be used, also CWM has a device list where you can see if the device is there, along with root information.
Cheers. :cyclops:

Where did you buy this device?
As far as I know it does not, have you Google searched or Baidu?
AOKP.co only supports official devices. :cyclops:

hello developers community, i know i might acting like a noob now, but after seeing alot of tutorials on youtube i have decide to ask this :
- It would be possible to install a different kernel and ROM into my Galaxy Note 3 N9006 1.2Ghz, 1GB RAM, 8Gb Internal MTK Device ?
from what i know, the biggest problems will be porting the LCD Drivers in order for my screen to work...
What would be the easiest method and what software do you guys recommend for that ? I wanna be as short as possible with asking dumb question... but i would like to try my luck with this ( i already did a back up of my ROM ) in case i brick the phone...
Thank you guys
no one can answer ? any developer ?
Thanks for your time
