Yes, I'm under warranty but I've bought the phone from China and I'm from Italy, only the ship cost will be more than the repair.
There's no place to repair a china phone here, nobody even known the phone
But it's a problem that has a lot of OPO and the manufacturer said that, they're good enough and, even N% has yellow screens...
But I'm really not happy with this phone, not only for the yellow line.
There is no way to fix it, with usage and time it gets slightly better. 99% of phones have this, so you should not have bought the phone, if you think this is a deal breaker.

I didn't know that this kind of phone has this kind of screen. Obviously I never bought a phone with this defect.
I really never bought a phone even if I had known the state of Cyano 11s.
But it'd definitely my fault.
Thanks for the answers.
There's an entire thread dedicated to this. Try using a UV lamp (found at a nail salon) for ten minutes with the device turned off.
Please search before posting.

Damaged digitizer or software problem?

Hello all,
About a month ago, my screen on my Oneplus One started playing up. Horizontal lines (when the phone is vertical, and vice versa) appear on some images (and move around/disappear when scroll up or down). If I'm reading text then no lines appear. However, when an image is on the screen (sometimes) the horizontal lines appear and "damage" the text below. I've included a few photos as examples.
Any idea what this problem is? If it's hardware, will changing the screen solve the problem or is it something in the gpu?
I had a look around the forums and elsewhere and couldn't find a similar problem to mine. I've had it over a year so it's out of warranty so I'll have to change the screen myself (if that's the problem).
All suggestions welcome!
Thanks to the community!

Hey man !! I am also facing the similar issue. Can you share about what was the problem and how did you resolve it?
There are not too many posts about this issue even now. Need a little bit of help!!
Thanks

In the end I had to send it back to Oneplus. They replaced the screen and sent it back to me.
Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Are you on kitkat? If no,its definitely the display.
I have seen desktop GPU's with these kinds of issues. However, it is worth it to try a new screen (AE for $25).

Make POCO F1 stable

Instead of asking Xiaomi or the POCO team for more features, we should ask them to fix the basic issues such as touch issue(now it is only on the edges on my device with 8.12.27 firmware), and fix the notifications and hide notch options before moving onto new features like 60fps videos and such. It seems like the whole MIUI forum is filled with people asking for new features instead of making it stable.
Also can anyone comment on whether the touch is a hardware issue or a software one? Can it be fixed by devs of XDA?

it's hardware related, can be fix by software but the fix for some it's not equal to others, so hard to make a universal fix...
Can you clarify please ?

Not really got an announcement for you to read, but if you search here in the forums you can see that different batches of the poco ( month of fabrication)(first batch even got screen bleeding) work better with some firmware versions and others work better with different firmware version, that is related that xiaomi is trying to fix the ghost touches by changing the way screen reacts to touch, but some batches work better in a way that make lag or ultra sensitive touch in others, that happens because the screen is not build the same way hence the "different" screens ...
Depending for what you will use the phone, that's not a really serious problem, noticeable more in some games...
Hope i explained myself good...q
Here are some testimony from users with different batches:

Touch issues are there in all the pocos except the latest batches now.
Touch issues are not severe are usable.
Some builds fixed half issues other created half.
If you wanna buy just buy you won't regret.
If touch gets perfect i am more than happy if not i can still live with it happily.
Rprpprrp ( i typed pr pr pr pr) this is issue.
But you will become habitual within a day or two. big deal.

Guys : Touch issue is real, face it or go for another model.
As per this thread suggest, even if you get newer touch screen panel, there is no 100 % guarantee that touch will work fine.
.
Because : old panels all issues fixed from 8.11.23 beta to 8.12.20 beta, and in this period newer panels got issues.
So they reverted that fix in 8.12.27 beta. But then again same issues are back for old panels. And newer panels are good now.
Now old panel users are waiting for new update which includes 8.12.20 touch firmware.
.
So Xiaomi has fix for everyone but they don't know proper way to implement it. ( recognising both users and applying fix upon it)
In coming days they will find it.
And everyone will be happy.
In worst case, you need to go service center for flashing new firmware with new bootloader which can recognize which panel you have.
.
So, waiting is best way for it.

Oh that's interesting. Some people here claim that newer batches don't have the touch problem yet you seem to have the exact same issue as my unit which was assembled in July 2018. Full four months and the issue still there... That is why I don't believe there are Poco users who don't have this problem.

Some things are a pattern: it involves all Poco f1 made in August 2018.
8.12.27 is the latest firmware we can use.
Any firmware which is more recent gives the black screen. So we must have a different display manufacturer.
The only solution I see is to update vendor and firmware without the display drivers.

From what i understood and feel by flashing almost every Pie beta & stable is, there are atleast 2 set of touch screen that Xiaomi used in POCO F1, so we are getting conflicting results/reviews in term of touch response.
So, if you try to satisfy ones for whom touch is good enough with Pie stable of current beta build other segment will cry-out loud with issue, if you go with older beta build like 8.12.20 then people like me whose device work good enough on stable Pie will face touch issue.
So, it's never ending game and Xiaomi should accept the hardware issue, replace & be done with it.

Ghost touch issues

Hello everybody,
im experiencing ghost touch issues with my GM1903. If i touch the display + the metal frame(especially the area around the charging port) there are ghost touches. Especially visible when playing games like pubg or whatever.
A link to an video of the issue: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXu7WOtd9o4
There is also a thread in the oneplus forum existing, but still no reaction from oneplus....
And before there will be asking someone. Yes i have tried a factory reset, a reflash of the rom etc.
Currently i have sent in the phone, what im asking for is if anyone of you are experiencing the same issue please comment below with the production date.
Mine says 2019.06.03
Thank you!
Which variant are you using 6/128 or 8/256 ??
Are you charging the phone when it happens? If so, are you using the official charger and cable?

The productiondates for this issue vary, see the other thread at the OP forum: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oneplus-7-touch-issues.1070754/page-11#post-20733362
Not to deminish your efforts, but one of the guys over there sent it in and got it back with another OOS, 9.5.5, which showed even worse signs of ghost touches.
Please update us (and join the other thread too if you haven't already) and chip in with your experiences
how serious is this issue because i have this ordered should i cancel it?
If you plan on using a case that seals off the bottom metal part. You'll be fine
how do you know this have you done it?
Yup. Read the thread on OnePlus forum for more info and videos

Do they appear when charging only?
Sent from my OnePlus7 using XDA Labs
They appear only when not charging, when touching the metal base part around the chargeport and enabling airplanemode fixes it. Disable NFC doesn't, disabling nightlight doesn't, nor disabling any of wifi, bluetooth, gps, 3-finger-screenshot, tap-to-wake or the videoenhancer.
Hi! It has only happened to me once... I was charging my OP7 with a non official charger. Throwing charger & cable to the trash bin solved the issue.
I apologise I haven't been of help
