Does anybody know of any actual tests/videos comparing the battery life of the S6/S6 Edge? I have seen this graph, and I believe one other graph that show conflicting results.

How does the regular S6 get longer battery than the Edge when the Edge has a slightly larger (50 mAh) battery?
I'm coming from a S4 which barely lasts half a day, so I'm trying to justify if the price increase for the edge is worth it based on battery life alone. (I have seen both in store, and love the way the Edge looks, but if the regular S6 has a better battery life, I might just stick with it.)
I searched the forums to see if anything has been posted comparing the two but didn't come across anything.

I was asked to do a review of the RavPower 2800mAh replacement battery for my Samsung S4.
A bit of history, I have the S4 for verizon, I run Vanir Rom and use Ktoons kernel. I also have a pebble watch that pulls weather every 20 to 60 minutes.
Prior to using in my phone, I used my external battery charger to ensure it was at 100% when I put it into my phone. Normally I charge every night but last night I said to myself, I want to see how long it will go compared to the stock battery.
Attached is a screenshot and I am well over 5 hours my norm and still have 27% left.
Personally, if you are looking for a good, solid replacement, I would certainly purchase one of these.

Too many 1-star reviews on Amazon. Won't be taking the risk. I think OEM-Original or Anker (or Zerolemon) is a safer bet
Battery case could be the most practical gadgets for Galaxy S5,before the mophie juice pack come out or don't think it's a good solution on cost, then we may get to find some replacement, however, we may also get some fake capacity battery case which doesn't last a long time... get to know the 4800mah case and if someone tried yet ?

Thats cool and all, but IMO those are for Gphones.
Or other phones with silly non removable batteries. I think a huge benefit to the galaxy line is the fact we can swap a battery within seconds. it would take less room in your pocket than having that case and give you DOUBLE the life rather than 60% more or whatever that case gives you.
Hello,
I got a second hand S6 and the bettery is draining suspiciously fast.
I was considering the idea of buying and putting the battery of a Galaxy S6 Active into this Galaxy S6. The spec and sizes of the batteries are the following:
-S6A capacity 3500 mAh / 13.48Wh volts: 3.85VDC size: 92 x42x5(mm) (long/wide/thick)
-S6 capacity 2550 mAh / 9.82Wh volts: 3.85VDC size: 96 x 45 x 4 (mm)
So the battery from the S6 Active is shorter by 4 mm, narrower by 3mm and thicker by 1mm.

What do you think? Would it work and last longer? Has this been done by anybody? I googled a lot but dont find any content about this.
Thank you
I'd just say if you're going the extra mile to put a battery in, go with the S7e battery. It's been done many more times before too.
On Galaxy Flip and Fold 3 in the Battery and device application that appeared the setting with the limitation of the battery charge up to 85% for its health. It can also be installed on the Note 20 Ultra? You need another version of the Device application that has other implementations.?Thanks!

I've read somewhere that feature will come to Note and other phones in due course
Tab S7+ has had this feature for many months, maybe even since original release. It's a feature I use.
With my N20U I use Accubattery to set a charge limit alarm at 80%. It doesn't stop the charging, but alerts me to take the phone off charge if I prefer not to cook it on a daily basis.
For this setting to be included in the official samsung Rom, I assume its already then confirmed that you save on battery life if you don't charge to 100%?.....I know there are differences of opinion on this...
I have been using my tablet since 2013
Samsung galaxy note 10.1 3g edition (with sim card slot)
My tablets battery die after 1-2 hours use.
I checked it by cpuz and devcheck apps
This tablet have 7000mah battery although cpuz and devcheck says 2100mah battery
Perhaps android system reads low capacity and my tablets battery drains 1-2 hours please help me
Replace the battery... it's long overdue.
Im aware my battery very old but i wondered it may be kernel issue
Apps saying battery health good
Its looking very odd

Your SOT tells the tale.
If it's an Li battery replace it now before it fails. A Li failure can cause damage even destroy the device. Any battery bulging is a failure.
Thanks
