[Q] Motorola G 4G 2nd Generation XDA ROM Support - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all.
I was wondering if there will XDA support for the latest generation of the 4G Moto G 2nd Gen?
Cheers

There's a whole dedicated subforum for Moto G (2014). Learn to search.

[WARNING: XDA Premium 4.0.13+ lacks Signature function - do not update]

That is a VALID question!
Is there/Will there be a subforum for the Moto G 4G 2. gen with Snapdragon 410 or is it comatible?
EDIT: Ok, I think Motorola just confuses its customers...

I consider buying a Moto G 4G 2. Gen, but I'm confused if it has native CM or XDA support..
Moto G 2. Gen = Snapdragon 400
Moto G 4G 2. Gen = Snapdragon 410 which is 64bit capable.
Sidenote: I hate when people rant on people who ask a valid question,
even more if I have the same question.
Be kind, help each other.

[Q] Moto G vs Moto G 4G LTE

I just looked in the Motorola website and it looks like the moto g 4g LTE is finally in stock and ready to ship out. With that being said I'm ready to purchase one but with one question comes to my mind.. Since both the moto g and moto g 4g LTE are identical besides the 4g LTE and sdcard support.. Does anybody know if the roms/rooting method will be the same? All the Roms out for the moto g will work on the moto g 4g LTE? Or is there a slight difference where that won't work?
I Donno about the rooting, but it's not really in Stock : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2772304&page=2

We don't know yet since no one has the hardware. But it is likely they will be separate ROMs as the radio will probably be different. And it is going to be using different drivers since the chipset for the radio is different.

Confused: Moto G CDMA or HTC 816

Hello
My main purpose is to use CDMA and I'm really confused between Moto G CDMA and 816.
Moto G has Gorilla Glass 3 but 816 doesn't. 816 has 13 MP camera pixel but G is 5MP.
There's a lot of XDA support for G but 816 doesn't.
PPI of G is greater than 816.
Battery mAH of 816 is freater than G
I find 816 more stylish than G.
816 Dual SIM but G isn't.
816 is lighter and bigger than G...
Which one should I buy?
Thanks
If you don't plan on customising your phone anytime soon then you should go for the 816 because overall it's a better phone.

If I may ask, and I do so just out of curiosity, why CDMA as opposed to GSM?
Moto G, you'll save some bucks, imo )
