I recently rooted my Nextbook 8 due to the fact that it keeps shutting down at 59% battery life and did a battery calibration. However, I have absolutely no clue as to what.. this all is. Do I need a ROM/Flash after rooting it? Also, SuperSU binary requires an update but keeps saying it failed :< help pls.

Does the battery charge to 59% and no further or does your tablet turn off when battery is at 59%? SuperSU binary fails to update means probably that you think you have rooted your device but not really rooted it. Installing SuperSU will not grant you root access without the needed binaries.
Which method did you use to root your Nextbook 8?

You can wipe your device and flash the stock firmware. If it doesn't help your battery could be broken.

Have you installed root check and checked if your device is rooted properly? If not, there is no reason to unroot it. Flashing the stock firmware will remove all user data and your phone will be in the same state as you bought it. BUT let me have a look if I can find the right firmware.
EDIT:
Is it a Nextbook 8'' NX008HI8G running Android 4.1?

Hay guys I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini (GT-I8910N) an I've rooted it, but now I see there is new update coming out an I want to unroot my phone to update it. And I'm interested if any of you guys tried to unroot your phone using SuperSU's permanent unroot, I saw that option, but it just sounds to easy. So if I use that option will I be able to download new update and use NFC again? And will I be able to root my phone again?

the only way to truly unroot your device is to flash the stock firmware back onto it.
the unroot option in superuser or whatever does not remove all traces of root on any phone, even though it may technically be no longer rooted.

Hi,
my phone has been having issues since rooting. if i unroot then downgrade, can i root again? supersu says unroot is permanent- not sure what it means
Unroot on supersu not working on oneplus 2...
stuck in 'please wait...'
i get "uninstalling, please wait..." , and it never completes.
this happens when i try to use: "full unroot, cleanup for permanent unroot" (in settings).
the full unroot is simply not working/stuck, acting like it is uninstalling. i tried a bunch of reboots, and root checker confirms i'm still rooted.
i have already bricked my phone once, previously, trying to unroot (because this feature did not work on my device: oneplus 2, and i got over-zealous trying to unroot).
help! i don't want to brick again trying to unroot.
would like to get updates when 1+ make them available.
no help googling this problem.

possible fix...
unticked unknown sources for apps under security, and supersu let me "unroot." i made a number of attempts to unroot and got no results til i did this. when 1+2 gets an update, i will know. root checker says, "Sorry! root access not properly installed...," now.

Hi,
I had rooted my Galaxy Note GT-N700 using "philZ-cwm6-XXLT5-OXX-5.03.0-signed.zip". Few days back I got the display screen replacement done and since then whenever I perform root check it shows "Your Phone is Not Properly Rooted". I also noticed performance issues with my phone. Is it because of the hardware change and is it safe to re-root my phone using the same file?

It's quite weird since there still must be root because he didn't change anything beside the screen.
You could re-root your phone using the same file but check the kernel version first since it may be changed.

Hi.
Did you get anywhere with this device? I believe they come rooted or partially rooted, but I'm having problems with mine.
Let alone from flashing a custom rom, I can't make use of Titanium Backup or Greenify even after installation of SuperSU.

Yes, Kingo Root's APK successfully roots the device.
If it gets stuck at 90%, wait about 2 minutes, and then use the Back button to exit. Kingo Superuser will be installed.
I used a root explorer to access the file, it says it can't be deleted because it's read only. Going to superSU on the play store shows that it is installed and shows no option to uninstall. What do I do.

You can also try the manual method.

I tried the one click way like 10 times. The first time I rooted it it worked on the first time, but since the update I have not been able to re-root it. I guess I'll try the manual way.

For me, updating my phone via smart switch has also done the trick. It's easier then flashing a rom with Odin, though it only works when there is an update available.

Just install smart switch on your computer: http://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/
Then install it to your phone from Google play if you don't have it already.
Next, connect your phone to your computer and that's it. The rest will be done for you by smart switch.

Help! I have the same problem aswell.
Galaxy S7 G930FD. Had root installed (Super SU) via the methods posted here with TWRP etc, all working fine. Decided I wanted to see what the AutoMagicDisk was all about. So.. as per instructions elsewhere... in Super SU, clicked "remove root" (I think thats the option) - was prompted something like restore boot image - said yes, restore recovery - chose no.
Phone then restarted and kept getting stuck at the Samsung S7 logo. Logo would stay on screen for about 5 seconds, then blink, then same thing again.
I can boot back into twrp, tried wiping cash/dalvic, same thing.
Currently trying to do a full backup with TWRP
Please help!
After installing the Root does not work private mode. if i delete root it fix private mode?
