Official KDZ Download (D80130B) - T-Mobile LG G2

T-Mobile has finished testing their firmware and has officially compiled a KDZ for us to flash! For those that desire a stock lollipop experience on the T-Mobile LG G2, here is the official KDZ which can be flashed by using LG Flash Tool.
http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FWCF9AR032N4AEB3BB50WY9/D80130b_00.kdz

Will this keep everything?or everything will be factory restore. I only have root and stock recovery.

KDZ does a full wipe so you will lose your data

I accidentally updated to this earlier today. I used the instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/help/fix-trouble-putting-download-mode-t2979318 and next thing I knew my phone is unexpectedly running Lollipop. Was not a clean install, I did not lose any of my data.
I'm having issues at the moment. Cannot download anything from the google play store, or update the LG apps. Everything just shows a "downloading" bar and nothing happens. I already tried clearing caches and data for google play but nothing seems to work. Might have to do a clean install, or do a factory reset.
EDIT: did a factory reset and everything works perfectly now. Phew!

I also had issues until I did a factory reset.
The play store would not update properly, the weather widget would not load, and google locations were incorrect - just to name a few things.

Is there anyway to make this a flashable ZIP?

Why it's this still on the web site

I tried using a method from xda forums, however I just screwed gtalk and made it impossible to use (this also happened on my x10) so I think it depends on the phone or something
sadly google is not updating any google apps beyond market/play or gmail
A few months back an XDAer posted a ported version. I don't know where I put my copy of it, because when I switched back to Froyo I could no longer use it. From what I recall you had to flash it, rather than side load, but it worked perfectly! It should still be on here somewhere.

I think the ones you used were from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056793
note: none of them worked on my o3d
Don't think that's where I pulled the file from. I did have a chance to dig through my backups from the Gingerbread days and found the file that worked perfectly here. I am pretty sure it was just a flash install, but can't test because I am back on Froyo. I really wish I could reference the author, and if you're out there please reply and take your due credit. I hope this works as well for you as it did for me!
argh can't flash, my cwm got screwed after I moved from 21a to 20a

Issue installing PlayStore App's.

Having some trouble getting app's to install at the PlayStore all of a sudden:/ I've tried clearing PlayStore Data and Cache and and clearing data from Google Services Framework but still nothing. I still have over 8 gigs left on internal memory. Not sure why I'm having this issue. Any insight would be much appreciated. There was another thread about this and attempted to locate the troubled apps file under Data/app's as instructed by a fellow member from that post but unfortunately I can't find those certain app files to delete. I'm able to download some app's but not others.

Looks like I'll be doing a factory reset in hopes to get this resolved. What a pain.

Update: Factory Reset resolved it. It also kept my root which was nice.

You won't loose root unless you flash an OTA, or stock root through ODIN... What you got will stay....
As you have root you could also have done a nandroid backup. This allows you, after factory reset, to re-install under advanced option all your Apps(data). This may or may not be of help if there's a problem in the data but it is something to look at later... It's also good to get nandroid backup, after everythings tested working, so instead of a facvtory reset you can just restore most of your setup how you like it. I try to do a backup at least once a week... and keep the previous backup in case of problems...

HELP! Google Play Services drained 2GB in less than a day!

Google Play Services is killing my data plan. I did some research on the forums and I am assuming this is because I just installed CM and my nexus is trying to download the new 4.4.3 update. What should I do to make it stop? I Read that for some people checking the restrict background data box works but it doesnt for others. Also read about an app called DisableServices but also came across mixed results.
Can anybody help me?

I though this was fixed in their latest builds? Which build are you on?
I thought so too. But apparently is trying to download. I was on 4.4.2 and then installed cyanogenmod 11

Install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cn.wq.disableservice
Go to System apps, google services and then disable "SystemUpdateService". This should fix it afaik,
Seems like the issue where the phone keeps downloading 4.4.3 over and over.

SM-N915V -- Downgraded from 6.0.1 to 4.4.4 with mixed results

So, this is a little bit odd.
I have long since moved from using a Samsung phone as my daily driver, but still use my Note Edge while on the go as a mobile sketchbook. Well, last night I accidentally approved the OTA update that had been pending on my phone for several years straight, which updated my device to Marshmallow. The 6.0.1 update caused my performance to tank hardcore, to the point where it's borderline unusable and my battery drains in less than an hour. Unacceptable.
I used Odin to flash back to 4.4.4. I grabbed a stock ROM for my device and Odin 3.12.7, put it into recovery mode, and started the process. Surprisingly, everything went off without a hitch and I found myself with a green PASS box and no errors in the Odin log. Sweet.

However, something's not right. I'm still on Marshmallow, but with all of the old KitKat apps having replaced the ones that updated. All of the icons are their older versions and even the system font is back to its old thick, round self. The OTA update is back, somehow, and my phone's About page says I'm still on 6.0.1. User data was also not touched. The baseband of the phone matches the file I used, so I definitely flashed the ROM.
Obviously I missed a step. I thought this process would factory reset my device?

Sticky Recovery

Hey everyone,
I have this issue with my device hopefully you know something about it: a while ago I rooted it, got Magisk on it all that. The device was just out so updates were still coming strong--or maybe I payed more attention to them than I do now, IDK--the case is that I accepted one of them and it undid the root and updated MIUI to something-something, regardless, since then I'm unable to flash a recovery image.
I thought the partitions got messed up or something and flashed the official system with the official Xiaomi spyware/adware suite "tools" hoping it would rewrite what needed rewriting then I tried flashing the recovery (TWRP) but no luck.
I'm using the XiaomiADBFastbootTools Java applet. It seemingly flashes the thing successfuly then it boots right into the system again, not in recovery. If I use force a recovery reboot through adb or with the buttons (which I've already forgot which were) the recovery the comes up is the official one, not TWRP.

Every time finishes "successfully", then the device reboots taking just tiny bit longer then I see the MIUI logo with the sort of paint-spill animation covering it and then I'm back on stupid Mars again (the stock pseudo-interactive wallpaper). Not even my information is lost--not that I'd want to, but at least it'd be something.
Since I removed most bloat the phone became pretty much useless and I wasn't even thorough because there's stuff that just can't be removed. Rooting would allow me to get some utility back out of it. Can it be fixed at all??
