Yes, it is possible. As far as where, buy from a reputable dealer, stay away from eBay. Lots of fakes there.

That is strange. Is "mini-SD" a typing mistake in your post? I thought that the Polaris only supported Micro SD.
- Julian
It only supports micro-SD. Must be a typo...
Idd only microSD supported, and officially, only 4GB is supported I remember.
It even supports 16GB. It's just because 8GB and 16GB didn't exist when they made the official specs.
And where do you find microSDHC cards of that capacity? (Perferrable in Belgium but UK is ok)

Yes. Currently the biggest MicroSD card is 8GB. Sandisk announced a 16GB microSD at last week's CES expo in Las Vegas and that is due to ship in June but price is not yet known.
The SD 2.0 standard supports addressing for up to 32GB so I would guess that in about June 2009 there will be 32GB microSD cards available (based on capacity doubling every 12 months). Beyond that we will need to hope that a new SD standard comes out to support > 32GB addressing.
- Julian
But (at the moment) 8 GB are enough for me..

Maximum MicroSD capacity?

What is maximum microSD capacity that works with Touch Cruise aka Polaris.
I know people use 8GB but I was wondering could I use 16GB?
anybody tried it?
Thank you!!
over 2 gb it requests an SDHC driver, this is for the elder HTC versions,
The polaris/touch cruise do have the SDHC driver installed,
so it should recognize any microsd.
thank you for the answer.
I have 4 GB microSD card so I know it works. I also know 8 GB works because a lot of people here says that they use it.
I'am planning to buy 16 GB microSD card but I want to know for sure it works.
I ask this because from what I know some cameras or card readers have like 8GB limit or 4GB limit.
so I would like that somebody confirm, from it's own experience that it works.
Thank you
can just confirm that 8gig are working fine.

Thank you
in those cases I always buy stuff at eBay or our local store with the assurance of returning the product. So buy and try. If it fails just return it.

[Q] Does Note Pro 12.2 (P905) support UHS-1 or UHS-3?

Hello,
I am thinking about buying a 128 GB micro sd card. Just wondering if Note Pro 12.2 P905 supports UHS-3, if it does, perhaps I would wait it a bit longer for the Lexar one (1000x with UHS-3), otherwise I might just go with the
Sandisk one (SDSDQUAN-128G-G4A).
Cheers.

It has pretty much the very same specs than Galaxy Note 3, which supports UHS-3. So my guess, I said guess, you gonna find support for this micro SD card.

I've been using a Sandisk 128 SD card for about 6 months without issues. I did go through 3 of the cheaper cards and you get what you pay for....... Best of luck - i am rooted and using TWRP on a P905. Best of luck. :fingers-crossed:
It does, yes.
Thing is, the MicroSD specs written on the official specs list are based on whats available at the moment of the first production. So the information doesn't account for newer cards, even though they work perfectly.

Thanks for all the replies. Then this brings to my attention that why none of the cards works as fast as what they are advertised. Is the problem of the cards, or it is simply something is not implemented on the machine so that the maximum speed cant be reached ?

128GB SDXC compatibility

Hello, I read that people successfully use 64GB SDXC with Photon Q. Did anybody try to use 128GB SDXC with phone?

If they are cheap, they are probably not really 256GB, but smaller card that reports itself as "big-boy".

I have been using 256gb cards since I bought the phone. They have worked on all versions of Android for this phone.
Parleyp
I'll look more into it! Thanks for the insight
