Miui player on GB

Hello there
Just today in the morning I was playing with my x10i running on 2.3.3(rooted)
Suddenly I thought weather we can have miui player or not????
And good news was waiting
Reason to use miui musice player
1)best off line lyrics facility
2) lyrics reading notification
3) ****the best of best. A song size filter****
(with witch you can ignore all you game data sound file,keep minimum 800kb)
And lots more
How to install
Download any miui player apk
Requirement
Should be running on 2.3.3 stock or any
Should be rooted and root explorer installed
Step1. Open root explorer
Step2. look for miui player.apk( witch you have downloaded) and copy it
Step3. Now go to system/app in phone memory and Press mount r/w(given at top near to path)
Step4.pest copied apk of miui
Step5.now long press that apk file and press permission and Set permission below

Step6. Now again press step 3 place that should be mount r/o
Step7. Reboot and lol

Some one already mod it, So you can install just like a regular APK
and its themed for X10

Haizzz, but in CM 2.2.1 i can change the songs when i keep + - with miui player as walkman phone!

No u cant change the song
Well this is big usage I know but if you want then can try power amp that May help you

i guess SoundEnhancement.apk is missing from your system/app,it usually happens when an app is missing from its place,use root explorer to do so or simply make a flashable zip through recovery.

[APP] SGS3 Music Player + Beats Audio

Have come across a beautiful SGS3 Music Player ported for SGS2. It works fine in our device.

Beats Audio
After flashing the latest beats audio libs (attached), the music quality in headset has certainly been improved. It doesn't add any Bass to the music but indeed it adds quality to the music.
[TESTED ONLY IN STOCK 4.0.4 DEODEXED]. I have no idea about other ROMs. Please keep the CWM backup ready .

[Update]
For the music lovers who wants the right music player (besides Poweramp) that uses beats audio libraries here you go.
MIUI Player with Beats audio rocks. Unlike SGS3 ported player, MIUI has equalizers. Though it doesn't have predefined effects option to choose (that supports all the effects of beats) but still it rocks and it is the best player that uses beats audio as of now.
If I find any DSP manager modded with beats that really supports all the beats music effects and works fine with SGR, will keep you informed.

ported of the zip file using cwm but it didnt installed anything...
i didnt had the stock music player...

Can you check if the below files exists and their permissions as well.
Inside /system/app folder - MusicPlayer.apk
/system/lib - libmusicsquarelib.so
The permissions should be rw-r--r--

the music player app file is in there but the file in the lib folder is not present..:crying:

Cwm zip seems to be perfectly fine. I removed the files manually and then flashed the zip file. Got the files back and everything working fine.
Can you check the free space of system lib folder.
If you have experience in moving files to system folder you can extract the zip file and manually move the files inside system folder.

You mean to say only .apk file is ti be installed ?? no CWM flash ??
well i downloaded this and flashed it thru cwm..now the problem is the phone boots up to homescreen and after say some 10sec, it just freezes up...and only thing i could do is restart....
also i noted that app is installed...
rite now restoring back the cwm backup..
any else facing the problem..

hey guys where will i find system ans lib ?

Download root explorer from play store there u will find both the file system as well as lib

I tried & now successful. you can also. then let me know. cause if its working for me then can work for you as well..try it out buddy:victory:

Keeps fcing for me. Tried installing through Cwm, putting the files manually through root explorer, wiping dalvik cache, but still to no avail.
EDIT: I tried installing the apk file and it works! Anyway, does the in app equalizer work? I tried changing the equalizer but didn't hear any difference. And what is music square for?

Music effects doesn't work and that is the known bug.

try music Equalizer app for the same. its amazing.:angel:

Attached Beats Audio libs in the first post. Tested and music quality in headset has certainly improved.
Can anyone mod DSP manager to use beats audio for SGR.

Clear Bass for Tipo(dual)
Instructions-
1.Yu need root access and root explorer(or any other root browser)
2.Make full backup
3.Put this file in vendor/etc (make folder if not there)

Do this, go to system/app and press on soundenhancement.apk and istall it... press ok if it asks to replace old app... then reboot.. after rebooting go to settings-apps-all-sound enhancements and clean data, tell me if it works or not

I copied everything, gived premisions, installed, and even cleared all data, and still FC
EDIT: But I first gave premisions and than installed those two files, is that problem?

Musicfx will not work I already said that, its sound enhancement that yu have to yu,, do yu get anything like this in settings option?

Working like a charm now..for those who still cant figure out how to make it work:
1.install the walman ported for xperia tipo fallowing the steps mentioned in the other thread.
2.push audio_effects file and the 11 lib files in the paths mentioned in this thread.
3. push musicfx.odex and musicfx.apk and sounenhancements.apk in system/app.
4.instal soundenhancements.apk and reboot.
5. after booting up goto apps>all>soundenhancements and clear its data.
6.Sweet!

I open settings, go to sound, select music effects, give me fc, I press ok, it take me back to settings, and again music effects

Ok, then copy soundenhancement.apk again to system/app, then install it, reboot, and then clear data of sound enhancement, then go to settings-sound-music effect, fc error msg comes, press ok, thenselect sound enhancement..

Finally it worked!

I think theres something missing, when I click the more button under the equalizer tab in sound enhancement nothing happens.

maybe you forgot to set permissions on one of the APKs or JAR files.... for me it works GREAT!!! :cyclops:
