Is there any way to access miracast (screen mirroring) in moto g 1 gen? Would changing the OS do the work? My asus zenfone 4 supports it..

JB 4.2.2. has the possibility to use Miracast. How can I activate this feature in the EOS 4 Rom?
Is it build into the Rom?
I can't find the option " Wireless Display in display settings. I've seen pictures of displaysettingspanel from JB 4.2.2 where this option is available (Nexus)
What do I have to do to use this Jelly Bean Feature?
Thank You
Miracast uses 5 GHz wireless, not 2.4 GHz.
To make it work you will need to add a 5 GHz radio.
Afaik, the only Nexus device that supports it is the Nexus 4 and maybe the Nexus 10.
Thank you for your answer.

I use a tablet as a Miracast receiver. I had a old china tablet with Android 4.2.2 and Miracast was working without a dedicated application like Miracast Receiver. Now I have a new one with Android 4.4.2 and it is working only if I run Miracast Receiver application. Can anybody tell my why?
Have a Moto G 2nd Gen dual SIM. I believe that it doesn't support HDMI out on its USB port so what way can I get stuff from Moto G to display on my Smart TV?
I'm talking videos mainly, taken on the phone, and also streaming from apps, websites etc.
On YouTube I can cast to my TV fine as there's a specific button, but what about other apps?
Thanks

The Chromecast app lets you broadcast whatever's on your screen, but it only works with certain phones. You could give that a try. I'd post the play store link but I'm still under 10 posts so I can't.
Check the Moto G FAQ - Miracast screen-mirroring is supported with build.prop edit.
Hello, I cast videos and movies from my tablet to my fire stick using display mirroring. Is the sound in surround if the source is 5.1. not sure if it's possible or not. Any other workaround options appreciated. Tablet doesn't have mini hdmi out. Thanks
Does Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 supports Miracast or wireless mirroring display?
As i cannot find this in online search. Mobile phone manufacturers should add this thing in the feature list.
