[Completed] Rooted M8(at&t) Stock ROM wont update - XDA Assist

Hello I am using a HTC M8(At&t) . It is Rooted and using AT&T stock HTC Sense ROM. When I receive an update that AT&T pushes it downloads completely, restarts into Clockworkmod Recovery and attempts to install. I wasn't able to capture all of what it says but from what I briefly read it didn't complete the instillation. AT&T pushed out a update that updates from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 and I am assuming that is what the update is for. If that is the case it definitely did not update due to my Android version still being 4.4.2. I want this update to install because it will fix issues that I am having( Snapchat, and other odd glitches) If anyone can shed some light on my current issue that would be great. Maybe there is a way to manually flash an update? Ill be looking around and see what I can find..
Thanks in advance.

[Completed] Slimkat to Update OTA from Stock

Hello,
I'm new here so I don't know If I posting this in right section. If not, sorry.
I have a Nexus 4 with Slimkat 4.4.4 and franko kernel. I just received the notification to download the new version of android lollipop by google.
It's not an update by slimkat but by google.
Is it normal? How is it possible? If I do transfer, what would happen?
Hope you can help me.
Thank you!
Hi,
It is very unusual you would get the Ota notice while running a custom rom and kernel, but no... Don't try to install it. If it somehow did manage to install without an error, guaranteed you would be stuck at boot or in a Bootloop after.
You need to either flash stock 4.4.4 to get the ota, or just wait for Lollipop roms and flash them like any other rom.
Good luck!
Thank you
Thanks for your response! I'm a little noob at this things. I can't dismiss the notification for the installation.
How do you think I should go from slimkat 4.4.4 to stock+root+franco kernel 5.0? I did my change on roms a long time ago and I really don?t remeber how I did it and if there are a better way now. I read that is dificult to root on 5.0.
I really appreciate if you could help me. Anyway, thanks for the previous reply.
Best regards

Here is a return to stock guide,

You won't have custom kernel or root. You need to be completely stock. Then you should be able to do the OTA. As far as rooting on Lollipop, you can try asking here, or reading some others posts...

Browse through all the Lollipop threads on rooting. Hopefully you'll find answers. And any future questions on your device can be asked there too.
Good luck!
Thank you. Thread closed.

As you most likely know the thread for the gpe rom is in the development thread- read though and see if someone else has posted a solution to the issue. If not, perhaps ask about your issue in the Q&A thread.
Also, please note that there are carrier specific threads for the m8- you may find those by typing in your specific device in the search box above.
All the best.

[Completed] Actual android 5.0 update rather than custom rom

I wanted to get the actual android 5.0 firmware from google rather than flash a custom rom on my htc one. The custom roms are not the exact same as what I have seen on the devices with android 5.0 thats why I wanted the actual android 5.0 software. Is there any way I can get that without unrooting my device and then downloading that OTA update?
Hi there,

[Completed] [Q] Huawei G750-U10 unknown IMEI and Baseband

Hello there everybody!
So I've recently bought my phone "Huawei G750-U10" running on this ridiculus MT6592 chipset.Since I just could not stand the stock 4.2.2 JB ROM I decided to flash a ported version of "Huawei G750-T00" KK ROM for my device (found it on some German website I guess "android-hilfe.com" if I'm not mistaken).Any way I flashed the damn thing after so many difficulties and literally EVERYTHING has gone better since 4.2.2 except for the fact that I cannot make calls due to the IMEI problem.Wifi works more consistantly ,bluetooth speed has improved slightly, and normally on 4.2.2 I'd have only around 800 MB of free RAM but It's increased to 1.1 GB of free RAM.I mean it's just pissing me off knowing that such a thing so tiny can ruin the day.I've Googled my problem , searched every each site you could think of but I don't seem to be able to get anywhere with it.The only thing I've not dared to do was reflashing a downloaded stock rom again (that just seem a little bit frightening) so to put this in a nutshell I've 3 questions:
1-Will I be able to fix this problem at all?
2-If so any working solutions for this specific version?
3-And will I be able to regain my baseband through flashing a downloaded stock rom?
P.S: Please post newbie-friendly comments.I'm not a pro! xD
Thanks for your sincere help in advance.

[Completed] Blu Studio 5.0 LTE

This is where I believe a lot of people ask questions about their phone, so I've come to visit and ask a question that I have been trying to figure out but there seems to be nothing about it on the internet. My phone which is the Blu Studio 5.0 LTE is currently on 4.3 Jelly Bean. Now what I want is that is there anyway to update the phone even further to 4.4 or higher? I want to be able to see color emoji. I've searched on Google for weeks now, and I can't seem to find it. Someone help?
