Is there a difference between a nano and a microSIM card? Can I use either one for my OnePlusOne phone?

The difference is size, the oneplus one takes a micro SIM (middle in pic), but if you have a nano SIM (far right in pic below) you can place it in an adaptor (ebay link below). I have a nano SIM in my own at the moment. The SIM (nano) I received from my network provider came in a micro SIM size and so you popped it out for the nanoSIM. I just placed it back in the micro sized holder and it works fine.

But when I click on it it says this.
What do?
i saw some forum's answers that it just maybe some old sim card -
i was adviced to change my sim card that was made back in 2002 for a new one -
not sure what may have been changed - but since all the phone numbers and messages are in phone (and google) memory
you risk nothing, and this sim change should be free.
i've already ordered mine and it awaits for me in cellular operator office
Hmm I was hoping that a trip to tmobile could be avoided but I guess if that's what I have to do.

Pretty, but there are many of these types of adapters already available. Maybe not quite as pretty though.
Pretty neat; I dig the design. Ordered one microSD reader and one full-sized SD reader with USB-3. The former will be handy because I'll have a spare microSD card after selling my HTC One for the N6P, and the latter I can use to transfer images from my camera to my computer a lot easier. Cheers!
This looks great. Only $11 gets you one and nice case for keychain. Add a microSD to backup your 6P.
Yea I backed this for an aluminum version earlier last week. Figured what the heck, why not for $13?

International from OnePlus webstore: root before Verizon activation or after?

Searched forum but found no thread dealing with this.
My first OnePlus phone (7 Pro) will be delivered tomorrow and I'm currently stuck with VZW as my work pays for it. I'll be taking the phone into a local Verizon Wireless store to get a new SIM card (current one dates back, IIRC, to my HTC Thunderbolt; then I cut it to mini, and later to micro as my phones progressed) under the BYOD program.
Should I root it before taking it to Verizon, afterwards, or does it even matter?
Thank you for the advice!

LOL. Anyone have any advice?
Shouldn't matter, but I'd wait and make sure service is working with phone stock/as-recurved from seller first before modding.

Can you identify this bizarre SIM card tray that came in my Note 9?

The SIM card tray that came with my new used Note 9 has a gasket that is missing two rectangular sections (with convex ends) on opposite sides, as shown in the attached pictures.

Unsurprisingly, water got into the phone and it is bricked.
The bizarre thing is the gasket looks like it was manufactured this way, and I can't imagine why. I'm wondering if the SIM tray comes from a different, non-water-resistant phone, or if it is from a prototype or demonstration unit.
Does anyone know why it looks like this?

OPPO F5 - sim detected but no carrier

Hi everyone
I used to review phones on YouTube a few years ago. OPPO was launching the F5 and they sent me a sample to review. I did the review and kept it aside. Never really inserted sim to try it out.
Now, I wanted a backup phone for my two extra sim cards. So I pulled it out and inserted the sim cards (Jio and Airtel). The phone starts well, and detects the sim cards, but strangely it doesn't register the network.

I tried manually too, it gives the following error.
How can I get it working?
Is there some factory lock they set? I figured there are some EngineerMode codes for F5, but there are a lot of options, can anyone pls guide.
