[Q] custom ota 2.2 kernel? - Shield Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

is there currently a custom kernel for ota 2.2? i currently have multirom installed and need the kexec feature but i notice the kernel img on stock is about 7 megs while pichu's kernel is about 5.5megs so im guessing i cant use his kernel with the 2.2 ota?

kernel question?!?!

what is the stock kernel of the nexus s 2.3.2?!?!
im confused on what you're asking for?
download a CM7 based on 2.3.2 and you'll get the stock kernel for 2.3.2 although this will replace your ROM (build #11 or before)

[Q] Flashing kernel

Hey there,
I have recently flashed to Kyrillos v10.6. This rom contains ICS theme but it is not fully supported by my phone. Can it be because of the kernel? If yes, is it possible to flash a new kernel or it will ruin the rom? ( I guess the current kernel came with the rom).
Thanks for your answers.
flashing kernel
