SD Access issues on MOAR 6.1 blacked - Sprint Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
the other day I flashed to MOAR 6.1 OA6 rom. The following I flashed the black theme for the rom. The day after that I am unable to read the SD from the computer, unable to REMO recover and only the phone, using root explorer or similar allows access to the files, but they are also not all there (ie some pictures Im trying to recover) . My main concerns are recovering my NoteEverything backups and a few photos I cut instead of copied from my computer.
Has anyone else had issues where only a root explorer can read the SD card?

Desire New MicroSD card

I am using Android phone for first time, It's a HTC Desire (unrooted), I have a 4GB memory card installed in it with lots of apps and stuff on SD card. Now I want to root my device and bought a new 16GB card. I want to transfer all my data from this 4 GB card to new one, and also want to partition it for rooting. what is the easiest way to do transfer all my data / sms / contacts / everything else to my new card. and my contacts are mess, they were saved on phone not syncd with gmail. I saved them as cvs file and uploaded them on gmail but now every contact is double. alot of crap going on in my phone. anyways want to fix all of it and install my new card and root my device with lee droid rom. can anyone help ?
Guys Sorry if this question have been asked before, I tried to search but couldn't find the answer.
First root your device and install titanium backup and backup all your apps and data. After this copy all the contents of your card onto hard drive. ( take special care that you get the folder named TitaniumBackup, it has all your app and data for restoring)
Then partition your card according to your requirements by any of the methods recommended( i used amon ra recovery) and flash your rom and setup your accounts and all. After all this you can just copy back the contents from your old card onto new one and install titanium backup and restore all your apps and data with it.
As for the doubles in your contacts. log into google contacts and it lets you remove 'doubles' pretty easy.
hope this helps.
thanks man, so rooting doesn't remove my apps / data from device ? sorry i m noob in android world.
Edit. Did it .. thanks

Formatted sd card messing up backup ability

After a lot of forum research I was finally able to successfully root, install cwm, and miui onto my wife's fascinate. I used cwm and made a backup on her stock rom, a backup of her miui, and used titanium to backup her apps. Everything was fine until last week she had an issue while trying to update miui causing the sd card to show as blank or having a bad file extension.and Ultimately we ended up having to format the card. Now with a formatted sd card I cannot backup any images of roms. Using red cwm I get an error saying e:error/dev/block/stl11 and e:recovery/log/file already exists. I am assuming this is because the new card does not have any of the files on it, but when i tried putting them in the root it still does not work. The phone and current miui rom work fine, and I can Odin stock froyo if necessary, but I would like to get things back to how they should be. Aside from using odin to flash back to stock and starting all over is there any way to get the necessary files onto the sd card to make things work correctly. I've seen other similar thread but in most the phone seems to be not working at all, ours works but just wont let you backup or flash roms now.

[Q] Moving Clockworkmod folder

Hi all,
Can't seem to find an exact answer to my question in the forums. I want to start flashing CM nightlies or at least the latest stable version as I am currently running M2. My device is a VZW SGS3. My problem is that I am almost out of internal storage after backing up touchwiz and my CM10 M2. The clockworkmod folder is taking up almost 5 gigs of memory. Is it safe to move this folder to an external sd card? If I do move it over, would I have to move it back every time I want to restore a backup or access my backups/blobs in Rom Manager? Also, when moving files in Root Explorer is there a way to move them without pasting them? Or is it best to just paste then delete the original file and repeat as needed?
Thanks a ton!

[Q] SD and ExtSD contents all gone after PC transfer, plus rebooting!?!?

I was copying files to and from my PC from my Verizon S3 running Beans 14. After pasting files to my extsdcard I rebooted the phone to TWRP to install some files. I did a backup first. Then when I went to install zips, I noticed all my files on both cards were gone, and all that was there was the backup I just made. I booted into the phone and the same thing, everything was gone, and now the phone keeps rebooting. All of my photos, videos, titanium backups and nandroids were on the micro sd card. Titanium Backup gets stuck at asking for root rights and then phone reboots, but the phone reboots if I just boot it and let it sit there. At least I have a 5 day old dropbox backup of my titanium backup files so not all is lost, but a lot of content was on the ext sd card that I wanted to keep, especially the nandaroids. Could I have deleted a virtual folder or something that could have caused this? Is there any file recovery solutions I can try to get files back?

USB device not recognized

Hey guys, today hasn't been going well. After flashing a ROM and it saying my paid apps are pirated (they are not) and making a 0 folder and then putting the default folder in the SD card (internal) I decided that I wanted to start clean, I was going to copy the titanium Backup folder to my PC and then delete everything on my note (all folders, everything) flash a new ROm and copy the folder back to my tablet and enjoy the smoothness.
However,
My device is not recognized by my PC and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm currently on CM 10.1 4.3.1 =.
Can anyone help me?
