GT-i9300I :
Qualcom Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 4x 1,2GHz // DUAL Sim
HT-i9301I :
Qualcom Snapdragon 400 MSM8228 4x 1,4GHz // SINGLE Sim
As the hardware is not the same, especially the SIM count differs, I really won't flash one phone's stock firmware to another one.
If you want to compare the phones make sure you have the exact same apps on both installed.
You really should think about "root" your phone and uninstall ALL non necessary apps if you need to speed it up.

May be wait for some other opinions. But I'm sure its not compatible to each other. And the solution for any speed related problems is seriously not to switch one crappy stock firmware full of bloatware for another one...

Im confused, My note 3 is the N900W8, my understand is that the 900 series have the Exynos Processor yet every spec list i've searched for says it has the snap dragon.
I want to Root/flash roms to my phone and want to make sure im using the correct roms and what have you. Should i be looking in the 905 section or then 900 section or somewhere entirely different?

N900 = Exynos
every other model number - N900W8, N9005, etc - is Snapdragon.
basically, if it's LTE, it's snapdragon.
you can flash N9005 ROMs on your W8, but may need to apply a BT/WIFI/NFC fix to get your radios to work.
In addition to being able to flash N9005/N900T roms with no issue besides getting a compatible kernel/wifi fix, you'll likely be able to retain Knox 0x0 status as well ^-^

You've managed to mix up something here. You stated you have a SCH-I535 which is the Verizon USA variant of the S3 but your baseband says it's the i9300 which is the international S3. Something isn't right here

Pull the battery and post what model number is written on the back of the phone. Or download CPU-Z and post the info listed on the System tab. i9300 S3 are quad core Exynos processor and 1 GB of ram, i9305 are quad core Exynos processor with 2 GB ram and LTE. The below article has been unchanged in the last 2 years.
Here is the official wikipedia page for the S3 and model variants are listed:

Same here. At first I was thinking it could be a build.prop edit but idk. About the only thing they could do is root via Towelroot but I don't feel comfortable recommending anything else.

Hi Guys,
I bought the S7 from China which is the one with a model number 9300 (Snapdragon 820 CPU).
Now I am back in Australia, and the phone works on the Telstra 4G network. But the Chinese version ROM does not allow me to run Google services, so basically makes the phone unpractical to use for me.
My question is - is it possible to flash the UK/Australia stock rom to this phone? The UK/Australia version of the phone has a model number 930F, and the stock ROM is available from various internet sources (e.g. Sammobile). I am, however, not very sure about this because 930F uses a different CPU from the one in 9300.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
I am afraid that is the risk when buying phone from China that they don't have Google Play Preinstalled.
Also Since the CPU is different , you are risk to brick your phone when flashing via Odin.

The US versions of Galaxy S7 use the same CPU (i.e. snapdragon 820) as the Chinese version. So would it be safer to flash a US S7 ROM, for example SM-G930V, to the Chinese phone? They do, however, have some different frequency bands, and the Chinese phone is a duo sim, but the US one looks like a single sim.
So i just dont know if im looking for the right stuff or what..
Id like a rootable ROM for debloat and performance reasons.
I have a Galaxy J7 SM-J727U..
Just got it from the store and i can find barely any info on this Model.
Does it have a different name? or just no development for this device?
Thank you
I've got the same phone, and I'm in the same situation. I've got 15 days to return it if I can't find a viable root option, but it seems decent for the price. I've gone through a lot of the steps for trying to root similar models, and in every case I simply can't flash anything with Odin. It gives the error "secure check failed". Everything I've looked into about this seems to point to the "OEM unlock" option under developer options, which this phone doesn't seem to have. I would also love to know if there's any potential for progress on this. I'm willing to put in some research and testing, and I'll let you know if I find anything anywhere else.
The U usually stands for UNLOCKED(as in any network/carrier)
Does not necessarily mean the bootloader is unlocked which is likely if the result is 'secure check fail'
What are the specs of this device and country of origin?
Anyone please say the exact CPU used in ths model. SM-J727U.

That's wrong, sorry. I saw one of the YouTubers Boost Mobile variant (J7 Perx) of SM-J727 with installed Snapdragon 625. I've sent this question to the Samsung support in Twitter, they've confirmed my suspicion of the Snapdragon-based US device. But I was unsure. And here I am completely sure of Snapdragon 625 inside J7 2017 US version.

Yes I am the Ukrainian resident, and her we can obtain the SM-J730F. This is a real Exynos 7870 device. But yours J727U might have a different one.
EDIT: One of the users said that there is indeed Samsung Exynos 7870 inside the unlocked model. Meh. From the wompshmack's post the Download Mode looks to be verifying the signatures.

A bit offtopic, but there also is the SM-J727S model, which is the Samsung Wide 2 (or J7 for Souh Korea, sold by the SK Telecom carrier), there is TWRP for it. The CPU is also Exynos 7870.
Theoretically the same rootmethod can be used. Can anyone test?
ANYONE ROOT AND TWRP J727U ?? HELP.. i see no option to enable oem unlock also why.. got my htc rooted then if failed screen damage lines ect fault of too many drops i guess so got this galaxy thinking it will have a twrp ect as its a galaxy yet i find nothing, my luck..
also it was consumer wireless carrier, i cant find prepaid cards for this why ? annoying.. i can send a few to a paypal for help here.. tried odin flash twrp pop says fail.. adb commands the phone so can i flash twrp like that on command prompt.. i need twrp for j727U BUT CANT FIND IT lol
Is there anything for the SM-J727U?
Baseband version J727UUES3ARF1
from what i understood the difference between those two models is the dual sim?
i own a SM-G955FD .. i wanted to ask if it's possible to flash a SM-G955F firmware on it.
btw, is there a way to find out on which firmware i am exactly at? i mean, i have the build number, but i'm not sure of which country.
thank you!

The software(firmware) is equipped to identify whether it is a Single SIM or Dual SIM variant. You wont find any Dual SIM version of the firmware exactly for this reason.
