[Q] TWRP takes forever to load. - Verizon HTC One (M8)

When I reboot into twrp 2.8.5.0 (whichever is the latest ) it takes a good 5 minutes and sits at that blue screen. Then when it finally loads it has red text and says E: unable to create and-sec folder.
I can still flash ROMs and stuff but that wait time is horrible.
Any ideas or suggestions for a fix?

Unable to boot into Recovery Mode

I have been trying to boot into recovery mode so I can upgrade from the CleanRom 3.0 to 4.1.. the problem is I get a black screen with a sync icon then after a few seconds a red exclamation point icon, waiting a minute or two it just reboots.
I disabled fast boot in options. Any other ideas? I'm pretty nooby when it comes to Android phones coming from an iPhone.
Why would you disable fast boot?
And sounds like you need to flash TWRP again.
He needs to get into recovery first. I've never heard of this problem with an exclamation point though hmm. Try using adb?

Fastboot like the phone actually booting, it allows the phone to shut all then way off instead a hibernating.
Also you could use Goo Manager to install recovery script again and see if that helps.

Connect it to a PC and run this adb command from wherever you have adb installed:
adb reboot recovery
If that still doesnt work then install the goo.im app from the play store and install TWRP to see if a reinstallation helps.
Thanks guys, I first tried the adb reboot recovery command, when that failed the Goo Manager worked perfectly. Running CleanROM 4.1 now

Download goomanager from playstore. Have goomanager flash TWRP recovery. CWM has issues on our phone.

Constantly boots into bootloader

Hey guys, I think I made a fatal mistake. My battery was at 3%, and I attempted to flash Franco Kernel r25. The phone rebooted into a black screen. I did a hard reset, and it sent me to the bootloader. From there, I attempted to start, but it gets me a black screen again. I went into TWRP recovery to reboot and shutoff, but still doesn't work. Every hard reset brought up the bootloader, every start gives me a black screen.
Thanks
Flash Google factory images.

I had this problem once, the only way was to get into recovery mode then install the ROM again (better wipe before install)
it worked for me.
Wow, just flashed the r25 img, i guess the install didnt finish earlier. THANKS!!!!
You can also flash a backup

Can't acces Recovery

Hey guys
I'm trying the whole time to accces recovery on the Moto G, but everytime I try this, the phone always reboots to Android. I tried Flashing CWM and TWRP, then it says in my fastboot flash mode: mismatched partition size. I never can go to recovery because it always reboots when I try to acces s it. And I want to install CWM or TWRP for flashing roms but nothing changes, the problem stays... Could anyone help me or has anyone also experienced this annoying problem?
Cheers
I will write a guide for it tomorrow. I don't have time right now.

When you flash cwm go straight to the recovery if you see a red sign with no command hold pwr+up for 2 secs it should boot into cwm

[Q] Recovery + Cyanogenmod Somewhat corrupted

Long story short, CWM is the only recovery that will open but will error saying E: cant open/mount cache/recovery.
Booting up, cyanogenmod will open, but now no wifi, no data, no nothing, every file manager errors out.
At this point, all I want to do it get all my pictures that are stored on the internal memory to the SD card and start from scratch. Is there any way to download the pictures using adb?
Thank you for your help
You can try adb pull if adb recognizes your device in recovery which it should

I tried going to the sdcard through adb it said it couldn't be found. the only time I was able to verify everything was there was through TWRP. I ended up doing a factory reset and flashed a new rom and thankfully the internal memory didnt get deleted. I flashed Viper 3.2.1, got everything set up, then I had to reboot and noticed it would take 2+ mins to boot. the HTC screen would be shown for that time and then the screen would be off, Id turn it on and the rom would be running. Thought it was the rom so I switched to GPE 5.0.1 which recommended i flash a new firmware for 5.0.1 which I did but still has the long boot issue.
This is what I have flashed on it so far
openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.0-m8_wlv.img (latest 2.8.4.0 wont boot)
0P6BIMG.zip
GPE_5.0.1_MULTI_DH_011415.zip
Any ideas on how to fix the long boot issue?
So far what Im finding the solution to the 5min boot is to go back to your previous ROM which isnt a solution imho.
Im sure I screwed something up to cause this but haven't found a legitimate solution as of yet.
Fixed the 5min boot time by updating the hboot to 3.19
Yea you have to be on newest firmware or you'll experience long boot times
