Have a Moto E (1st gen), have showbox on and have allcast premium to airplay to an Apple TV 3.
However, it's playing on the Moto A fine, goto options, share, allcast, AppleTV and I just get a spinning wheel on the Apple TV, sometimes the icon of Allcast is on the TV.
WiFi is fine, Apple TV works for other stuff, Moto E works on WiFi to, both on same WiFi network.
Anyone help? Is it me? The app? Showbox? My phone? Any other apps that are good for airplay to an Apple TV?
Thanks

Hi,
I am interested in getting a tablet with Android 3.0 on and am wanting to stream video/music via wifi from my NAS to the tablet and then connect the tablet to my TV via HDMI.
Now I have seen the Apple Ipad2 and that seems to do what I am after but I can see no such app for android. Will the soon to be released VLC media player be able to do this? If not which apps do I need as I can test them on my Xperia x10 to see if they work.
I use cifsmanager to map my smb shares on my sdcard. Once setup any media appear will play files off your smb shares as if they were local with no problem.

Hi Guys,
I just got an HTC ONE and I absolutely love it. I have gotten so much help from this forum hopefully I can start assisting others on my own.
I am also waiting for a chromecast to ship to me, and I am getting a Roku soon.
My basic question is can I do the following:
Use PS3 Media Server on my mac for DLNA streaming. Connect to that server with my Android Skifa app (Select PS3 Media Server as Source).
Then can I select either Roku or Chromecast to stream directly to my TV?
I think If I have my Roku with a DLNA channel I can just choose that as the player in Skifta.
I know if I want to use Roku it will have to be another DLNA hookup. I believe that if I want to do it via Chromecast all I need to do is cast my android screen (which is not available yet but I am hearing there are groups working on that funcitonality.)
Can anyone give any thoughts on if this is possible, if I am explaining the procedure correctly, and if you think this functionality will come to the chromecast in the near future? Thanks a lot for your help!

Coming from a iphone I always used Moviebox to watch movies on my apple TV. I loaded Showbox on my rooted S Off HTC One and can not figure how to aiplay to my Apple TV. The apps I downloaded from the store allows to airplay from i tunes music/movies but do not have the option when using Showbox.
Anyone accomplished this?
Allcast works well.

Found a movie(Better Off Dead) on YouTube and started casting from the nexus. Wife picks up roku remote and paused the movie. It took me a minute to realize what just happened. Double checked that we were casting and not on the roku, then double checked that the remote still worked. It does!!! What kind of wonderful sorecery is this?
Was it casting through the Roku?
When I use AllCast through my Roku, the Roku remote can rewind, fast-forward, pause, and stop (but not restart).
It was casting through the Chromecast. I don't have any custom casting apps, nor did I do anything at all to configure my Chromecast or nexus to work with the roku remote. It just worked.
You can use your TV remote to pause and play Chromecast videos.

HDMI-CEC.. Google it!
Can anyone tell me a simple way I can stream to a Sony Android TV?
I am using Cast X to TV, but if I chose the DLNA option then it says "video not supported" on the TV.
If I choose Android Beam (I think it's this), then it works but it's all a little cumbersome and requires an extra app.
Thanks
