Yeah, it should. The source has been buildable for a long time, but they needed someone with the device to act as a maintainer in case of the odd bug. So I managed to convince them to go ahead and turn on the nightlies.
I'm fairly certain as of right now it's next in the build queue, so we should see it in the next 10-15 minutes hopefully. There's already a placeholder activated for it on the cmxlog site for cm12 as of this morning: http://www.cmxlog.com/12/d800/ ... only thing stopping it would be a build failure.
Same general requirements from CM11. Should just work, loki'd, etc. There's a new CAF kernel coming about, and that'll be bumped. Fun times ahead
PS> since your post is at the top of the forum, could you please update your OP to reflect the new nightlies? Thanks
I installed the new nightly about an hour ago. Everything seems good so far. Battery life seems good too. I will update after a little more use.
Yeah!!!
I have had one random reboot so far but hasn't happened again.
Using both stock modem and the modem provided on the link in the OP, rotation is not working.
I flashed the 10d modem and rotation is working for me. Here is the file name. LGD800_10D_RADIO.zip
I was using the 10O modem and everything worked perfect, even rotation.

I'm on JB bootloader. Thanks to the previous posters, 10d fixed the rotation for me.
While we're on it, what is the difference between 10d and 10o?
Here's the Antutu score for this ROM with default CM Kernel, no mods or tweaks...

This. Fixed sensors as well as MMS issues. It fixed rotation/compass etc. immediately. To fix MMS, I had to go to Settings -> Mobile Networks -> Network operators -> Search Networks (manual option) -> then select two different networks that were not AT&T (it is a slow process)...wait until they both fail and the select the top AT&T network choice and wait for it to connect...reboot... resolved the issue for me.
audio
Anybody have a fix for audio yet? Everything is working on the original nightly except audio is muffled. Out of the earpiece and speaker on calls, hangouts & phone app.

I have seen others with issues, but I'm not sure if yours is the same. They suggested turning off the OK Google from every screen option.

Unfortunately neither option worked. It appears to be the same audio distortion others have. I clean reinstalled cm and still its random but continues to happen. I guess I'll just have to wait till new drivers for lollipop are released. Thanks for the help.

Hello All,
I want to raise a question here because I don't seem to find any help about it.
I am using a nice TF101 tablet with great joy. Now with less as yesterday while watching youtube the sound has gone and did not return after a reboot or using the DSP Reinit in the Kat Tools.
Now this has happened with me already a week before. Then I was using Jousteink's unofficial room. Then I've changed to KatKiss 4.2.2 and the sound reappeared again. Later to give it a whirl I have then upgraded to KatKiss 4.3 and everything was wokring like charm for 3 days then the sound went to Honolulu again.
Does anyone have any idea how can I get the sound working again or what can be the cause? Or simple share the same experience?
Thanks for the help.
Hate to ask, but is your volume up?
I had issues with the hangouts/talk notifications muting my volume when using the cascade option in the KAT tool.

So, you are saying that the sound works sometimes and then cuts out. Intermittently? Maybe hardware related - but I'd leave a proper diagnosis to the experts here.
I know that I have the volume toolkit installed on my TF101 and to be honest - it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference when listening thought the tablet's speakers.

Nope, it is gone. Totally. It is OK on bluetooth and through jack but the speakers are deaf. From one point to another and remains so even after reboot and reflashing with a /system format.
On ICS based roms there was a problem similar to this where restarting the tab fixed it for some time and you could have save this reboot with the KAT tool. You could just reinitalize the sound. I agree on the quality part though
I hope it is not HW related, this was always a popular problem with the TF101. I just hope to find someone who encountered this and can give a fresh idea of a fix.
Which build are you using? The latest one I have the same issue, but if I go back a few it's working fine.

I'm using 018 right now because with 019 and 020 the back button stops working. I was also unable to control the sound through the device itself but if I would start, say, a movie on MX Player then I could hear and adjust volume.

That's because you forgot to flash the gapps after the rom zip.

I know I had no sound, or GPS when I 1st flashed this. I had flashed it from TWRP 2.5.00, and I got it updated to TWRP 2.6.100, and reflashed it, and now everything is working. I would make sure your TWRP is up to date.

There is no 2.6 for the tf101 ... what did you install exactly? The title says 2.6 but the files are 2.3. http://www.teamw.in/project/twrp2/109
It was fixed after just flashing the newer one.
Edit: Yeah, not touching unofficial cooked recoveries with a 1000 foot pole.
Then you will be waiting a long time, as there have been no new "Official" TWRP recoveries for a long time now for the tf101.. His is working fine.
You take similar risks every time you flash a ROM.

I agree with @C0BRA01. The only reason that joesteink's build were not official is because no one from the TWRP team approved them. I have not heard of any issues of anyone bricking or having issues caused by any of the 2.5 or 2.6 builds for the TF101. I am running sidneyk's 2.6.1.0-c build right now and have had zero issues, other than the superuser nag screen at reboot when running KatKiss 021. It has to do with the supersu app even though root is working fine in the ROM.

Burst mode bug in camera!
hello,
I've been using cm 11 for a while now and one thing i have noticed to be really buggy is the camera,
when you set in the burst mode let's say 5 shots; instead of capturing 5 images instantaneously it focuses for every shot! and the whole meaning of burst mode is lost in the process. please do look into this issue in the next build.

It's not a bug, it's in your set up. When you go into the camera settings, go to "Focus Mode". It should give you an option called something like "fixed" or "continuous", etc. That'll keep it from refocusing between shots.
did not work.

Sharp Battery Drain
hi,
I've installed the latest build of CM11 by @thehurricaneguy coming from the older build of CM11 from the previous thread by @alteredlikeness.
Now after installing this build it the main problem for me was the battery sharply drains to 20% from 50-40%, i thought it was a battery problem and bought a new one it's the same for the new battery too, i thought i was the only one as it seems that was not the case.
Main problem starts here. i'm running CM11 on system 3 and it some how affected jb leak 3 too :C, i now have two batteries that drain to 20% from 50-40% on BOTH ROM's , after this issue I've deleted the system 3 and now run on 4.1.2 but the drainage remained the same.
i wiped the battery stats, cache, Dalvik Cache many times hoping that might fix it but to no avail.
>>>"I accidentally Erased my CID a long time Ago"<<<
i'm scared of doing a factory Reset and losing BMM ending up with a Bricked Phone, could any one help me resolve this battery drainage issue and how to restore CID with out a back up copy.
thank you

This is a problem with most 5.1 roms. Mostly after using another audio app like hangouts phone, whatsapp phone, music players and video players. Driver is not released back too phone.Reboot is needed . On a good note, Paranoid Android 5.1.1 has just come out with an update and an audio patch that fixed mine. Hope this helps.
I don't get any signal
My phone after updating it to candy 5(5.1 Lollipop) I can't get any signal?
Please Help!
New to this
This is the best rom I have installed ever since fixing my bricked Skyrocket a couple weeks ago.
Latest Version 5/15:
After installing the latest update the data drops far less frequently... however it is still a good five times every twenty minutes or when I send two or more text messages. I tried rebooting, messing with wifi/airplane mode, removing excess APN's, and using Signal Boosters which are junk. Folders seem to be a bit different and overall rom is a bit more laggy compared to previous version. My recents menu did not work, holding the home button with no response, fixed by turning on OmniSwitch.
Installing SlipLP fixed the data, so I am confident you will figure it out for Candy! If only I digged the look of SlimLP.
Will report back next update, still learning how to Logcat... I will post if I figure it out tonight.
I am not getting any charging or heat issues like the poster above. I did not change to noop prior to writing this.
Found a PERMANENT signal fix!
Apparently this has something to do with the radio being flashed and 5.x.
Here is how you fix it, I have not had one drop in signal since my previous post!
(For AT&T, T-Mobile, possibly others)
1. Download the [UCMC1] I717 AT&T Radio
http://d-h.st/PKI
- official thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2228292
2. Either Clean flash or Recover from a backup of Candy 5.x
3. Install the AT&T Radio
Signal drop is fixed, select your APN and enjoy!
I suggest this for those who are using AT&T Servers, T-Mobile, or etc. If not visit here and find your carrier radio... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1785999
I hope this helps everybody! :good::fingers-crossed:
I am not a professional, I have been flashing custom for a couple years here and there! This is working on my device, I now have ZERO signal drops and perfect signal, please allow OP to further test.

Make sure you are using an up-to-date version of GApps. Recommended is Slim's Zero GApps (~60MB), a link to which you can find in the OP.

When you flash the ROM, either the GApps package you flash needs Google Now (might be Google Search, not sure), or you need to install it from the Play Store separately. Voice input on the AOSP/Google keyboards may be missing as well until you do.
I partitioned my Skyrocket to have a 6GB Data partition so the tiny GApps is fine and I can install pretty much all I want for apps. It's quite nice.

Flashing Potential Issue
I am currently Flashing the ROM using TWRP and everything seems good it's just that its stock on "Patching system unconditionally" It's been on that step for about ten minutes. I did the Cache and Dalvick Cache wipes. So I Don't know what I did wrong.

Then it sounds like there were core changes which may require a full wipe (/data or a factory reset).
I normally clean flash to test, so unless I've made a change that I know requires a full wipe, or coming from another version (5.0 vs. 5.1, etc.) I would suggest to try dirty first and see. If you get stuck, as you have, then I'd go clean.
Sorry for any inconvenience...

Nvm, Sorry I forgot about the dirty flashing and it worked. Thank you
For the last few months I people on the other end of a phone call have been struggling to hear my voice in normal phone mode (not speaker phone) but when I switch to speakerphone the problem goes away and the call quality is excellent.
I have previously tried to fix it using some work arounds on the Oneplus forums but none of these have worked and in the last week or so it has really been annoying me.
I am currently on exodus 6.0.1 and the Google dialer from the play store but this problem has been consistent across many ROMs (aosp, cm and cos based, as well as lolipop and marshmallow) and a few different dialers.
I'm suspecting that the microphone is the problem but since all of the threads regarding this issue are too old too ask I'm not sure.
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!!!
Check if the "OK Google" hotword is active systemwide inside the Google App.
If yes, deactivate it or set it to "App only".
This is one possible reason and it got fixed on the CM13 Nightlies a couple days ago.
This is the commit which fixes the OK Google issue
http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/c/137753/
I can't find it in Exodus gerrit.
I have just tried this method and it did not work, however the problem still went away when I was using the speaker phone, as it did with the "from any screen" option enabled.
Thank you for the suggestion though.
Bump
I, too am having the same issues. From my research, the One plus has 3 mics, and when using the speaker phone, a different mic is being used.
When i am on calls, i can hear people but people can't hear me. I have to literally put my mouth on the bottom mic and talk loud into it. I've tried the Ok Google thing and it does not work for me. I am going nuts trying to figure this out. Almost want to smash my phone...
What bugs me is when i was researching the problem, hundreds of OPO owners are experiencing mic issues. Why haven't this been address by ONO company?

This has worked for me for quite a while until I started flashing more recent marshmallow ROMs. When I would flash this call volumes were great, but then notifications and alarms stopped working. I made some edits to the original zip and fixed it for marshmallow if you want to try it, you can get it here.

Works great on jgcaap CM-13 20161102. Thank you!

I really have no idea if this works on N since I dont have it, but you can try:
Find this 2 rows in this two files.
/system/build.prop
Change: ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=fluence
to
ro.qc.sdk.audio.fluencetype=none
Then, edit /system/etc/audio_platform_info.xml
<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="40" />
to
<device name="SND_DEVICE_IN_HANDSET_MIC" acdb_id="4" />
Reboot and check if it worked. I used this on COS12,COS13 and 13.1 and always worked.

Does this disable noise cancellation completely? Maybe it's just in my head, but I think my phone cancelled the background noise pretty nicely when it was new. Then this bug happened, and now after this fix, everything just goes through. Nothing gets cancelled. Is this normal? Is there a workaround?

mikiosmart you're a genuis. bypassing the main mic is still the best option for me also. what parameter is resonsible for volume over the loud speaker? When I use loud speaker with this mod, people can hardly hear me. If you can fix that you will have truly solved everything.
P.S - Voltron is a nice touch. :good:
As was my plan all along, kltevzw official support for AOSP roms is picking up. Please see this thread for official downloads and support:

My builds will cease.
-- Begin copy-pasta template from my CM13.0 build thread... please let me know if I miss updating something --
Note: I don't run this ROM personally, I really just built it. It shouldn't, but it may eat your cat.
Code:
*** Disclamer
-- You install these at your own risk! You are responsible for anything that happens from flashing these files to YOUR phone! If your
phone melts into a pile of goo, catches on fire etc. IT IS NOT MY RESPONSIBILTY BUT YOURS!
FAQ:
Q: Can I use this?
A: Do you have a developer aboot? If so then yes, but I won't help you install a developer aboot. I only ever had a Developer phone, so I only know the process as well as reading the thread. See this thread for info/help: HERE
Q: When/how often are these built?
A: Less often than my CM13.0 build, but at least every week. Unlike my CM13.0 build, I don't use this ROM so I won't be doing a "does it boot" check before uploading. Please tell the entire thread if one day's build doesn't work properly.
Q: Can I get help with something?
A: I have a full-time job and travel a lot. I'll try to jump in and answer some questions, but there is a lot of info out there for you to learn on your own. Aside from you having a vzw-variant, most of the details are standard KLTE. Please see the normal Resurrection Remix KLTE thread for standard ROM help.

Recovery:
The standard KLTE TWRP 3.1.0-0 should mostly work, but MTP doesn't work for any klte* variant using it.
I prefer KToonsez's 2.8.6-based Recovery. It's older, but MTP works.
There are Unofficial 3.*.0-* recoveries available by @jcadduono. I find that these don't support decryption properly, which I find to be mandatory.
Like many other devices, the .zip files can be flashed in a recovery. The .tar.md5 files can be flashed in ODIN. The .img files can be flashed using Flashify, a TWRP recovery. You can even get an .img file from a .zip or .tar.md5 if you just open it up.
If you use adopted storage then things get odd. The latest recovery by @jcadduono MAY support adopted storage if you don't encrypt userdata (I personally know that TWRP handles adopted storage for jflte and d2), but I do use encryption so I don't use that recovery. It may be that you only see /data/media/0 -- if so, I find that using Flashify for each nightly is the most straightforward way to update, but you could always manually copy to /data/media/0 before rebooting to recovery. This is a standard Marshmallow and TWRP thing.

Modem/Firmware:
Most of the LP modem/firmwares should work, but I use the one PB1 here. This modem matches with the proprietary vendor files that are part of the build. Flash it in ODIN. Please note that some have reported that you cannot flash these after the aboot unlock; If you cannot flash the PB1 modem/non-hlos it shouldn't cause any big problems.

Someone needs to be the guinea pig. I know how much a pain it can be setting a ROM up from a clean install, but if CM feels just a bit too vanilla then I'd say jump into the pool.
Alright going to download and flash it now and I will report back to you thanks for your hard work!
---------- Post added at 01:06 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:35 AM ----------
Hagg flashed the rom and everything seems to be working so far I can make calls and receive texts I prefer RR to CM13 for the features! Just wish there was a way to get my Gear S to connect to non Touchwiz roms but oh well I'll just use it as a regular watch or maybe get an AW watch lol
Running CM13, what's different?
Hmmm extra features to be honest I like CM13 but it's so boring and as a guy that actually likes Touchwiz RR is nice because of the added customization!
So I've for RR installed. Few things I noticed right away: Built in ad-away, nice! Uses super-su. I personally have no issue with the built in root, but whatever. Other than that, it's very close to CM13 in terms of speed and look/feel.
Edit: One weird glitch I've run into on both this and CM13 is that the camera app gives and error "gallery has stopped working" when launched from the icon. If i used the double power button though, then the icon starts working. Any ideas?
Edit2 : It seems to be the default camera icon that is on the home screen in both ROMS. I noticed the graphic is slightly different from the dock as it is in the app window. Deleted bad icon and replaced with app windows one and it works fine. Probably an easy fix!
No glitches, no forced closes. Everything works, and works smooth. Very nice. My new daily driver.
Unlocked and loaded RR with OpenGApps..
No issues...running great!!
Thanks!!
Will try later, thanks haggertk for your work...
Just turned my S5 into DEV last night but do not want the Bluetooth and wifi bugs of CM13 so...
1) Are there major bugs present in RR like those in CM13 (Bluetooth, wifi)?
2) To be clear, is RR Marshmallow 6.0.1 as well (might be helpful to state the Android version explicitly somewhere for us newbies to custom ROMs)? I know CM13 is mentioned in different places and 6.0 is mentioned in the GApps section, but I don't see the Android version like on the RR Changelog (ResurrectionRemix - v5.6.5 - 20160313 #Marshmallow 6.0.1_r22).
3) Are there S5 functions that won't work with RR like the fingerprint reader or is it pretty flawless?
4) Does Xposed work?
5) If I am coming from KK stock 4.4.4 NK1, do I need to do something special with the Modem as discussed in the OP such as somehow flashing the PB1 Modem?
6) I am betting I have to wipe my S5 clean before flashing this ROM, but is it reasonably painless to restore all my apps and settings with Titanium Backup?
7) Is there a patch for RR to make the front speaker work when playing music similar to a patch I found on KK that does? Love that functionality and don't want to lose it.
8) Are there other Marshmallow S5 Dev ROMS besides CM13 and RR or are these the best options right now?
Thanks!

Guessing the "6. not sure" was in response to the Front Speaker question and not the Upgrade question, so how difficult is it to reinstall all apps using Titanium Backup or something similar? Or is there a way to upgrade without having to reinstall apps?
Front speaker doesn't work out of the box in RR, right? (where a patch isn't necessary)
Thanks for all your feedback!

Would one of you on RR be so kind as to send me the mixer_paths.xml (if that's what it's still called in MM) in your System > Etc folder (assuming folder structure is the same in MM also)? I would like to compare it to the surround sound modded file I installed in KK as per the following link: http://www.naldotech.com/enable-stereo-surround-sound-speakers-galaxy-s5. I am probably not technically capable of making the same thing possible in MM with the S5 front speaker, but it's entirely possible the same modded file I have will work in MM and it's possible a comparison will reveal only a few lines of code to modify that I could do.
Thanks in advance!
