[Q] Scratch please help?

Can anyone please help me? I got myself a beautiful galaxy s2, about 2 weeks ago, but yesterday, i dropped it and know it has scratches.. it has some minor scratches to the screen, but that isn't my main problem. It has some bigger scratches and dents on the black and chrome colored plastic. can anyone please help me get those away?
sure, send it to a repair shop, they'll do it
either that or go on ebay, look for a body etc and try it yourself - AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Cheers.
I will try the repair shop, but what shop do you mean? the one where i bought my phone, or a samsung shop?
he means like a general cell phone repair shop. your carrier's store isnt going to fix it and i dont think samsung offers those kinds of services. just google cell phone repair, they are independent shops.
basically you cant REMOVE scratches and repaint the phone. there is no solution like "wipe it with alcohol and they go away."
my advice
1) if you just got it, and you got it through your carrier, add insurance to your account, pay the deductible, and get a knew phone.
2) take the last poster's advice and buy a new body on ebay, but installing those without damage is hard.
3) do what you should have done from day 1 and put that sucker in a good case with a screen protector. most cases will hide most scratches. as for the screen, you're probably going to have to live with it. they're just minor.
=\ i know it sucks man but it happens to everyone. thats why i didnt let my inspire leave the house until it had a case.

[Q] camera replacement?

I dropped the phone and broke the back camera glass cover. I ordered the part online.. but after a few days, a black spot appeared on my lens (if you open the camera app). Initially, I thought it was a dust or something but after the replacement glass came in, I tried to clean it but it won't come off.. so, now I'm thinking it's a scratch. So... it looks like I need to replace the camera. Has anyone else done it? I want to... but, I don't to bother if a replacement won't be the original quality.

It's not that I don't know how... I've watched tutorials. Quality is the issue.

While the replacement part you linked to is probably perfectly fine quality, and don't get me wrong I absolutely love DIY, in this case I'd recommend you bring it in for official repair that way you know the repair parts new and are coming from Samsung itself, and not just someone who is selling parts claiming there new.

Fortunately you can easily reset the flash counter so Samsung will never be able to tell you flashed CM10 using triangle away.

[Q] 8x casing coming off

If i run my nail along the ight side of the phone the casing seems to be able to come off the phone itself. Was wondering is that normal and can anyone else do it?

Lol. I can do it too! Now trying to find how to dismantle it!
Normal. The case has to be gently removed in that method to access the internals for service.

[Q] Disassembly for screen replacement

I know this is a hardware question, but I'm hoping someone might have an answer.
My son cracked the screen on his Galaxy S Blaze. I ordered a replacement screen assembly and found a video which I thought showed how to replace the screen, but it was for a different model. I have the cover off, the flex cables disconnected and the motherboard out, but I can't figure out how to remove the old screen from the front housing. Based on the other video, it should be a combination of heating the edge of the housing with a hair dryer until the adhesive softens, then prying it off. I've tried to do this with no luck, but it could be that I'm not prying hard enough - kinda scared to break it.
Does anyone know how to remove the screen - or better yet, know of a disassembly guide for the Galaxy S Blaze?
Thanks!
Heat, Heat and more heat...
Be careful with the heat as it can destroy amoled
a little off topic but...
One of the pins on my usb port got damaged. I was curious and took off the cover to have a look at what would be needed to replace it.... too much soldering that is above my skill level. Anyways, in the process of removing the cover, I lost functionality of my hardware buttons. I'm assuming I damaged the cables that attach them to the mobo. Didn't notice this until I put the cover back on and booted up. Does that seem right? Was I just being too harsh while taking it apart and ripped a ribbon or something of the like?

[Q] Another cover under the bottom cover?

Hello again xda,
today I got another One S which is pretty damaged on the outside for just 5 bucks (ridiculous right?!). Now I wanted to disassemble it, but I got to an problem. As I removed the bottom cover there was an another cover under it and I don't know if/how I should remove it. The whole screen is cracked and case is pretty scratched so I have to disassemble it completly. In the attatchments is a picture of it.
Greetings,
-sinkingFX
Just remove that the same way you removed the previous. I tried to take a picture with my old sh!tty nokia. Also this could be useful:
