[Q] Connect TWO BLE devices simultaniously? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I use Endomondo as work out app.
Currently using a Polar BT Smart heart rate monitor, and would like to connect another Bluetooth Smart/LE unit (a cadence censor). Anybody knows if it´s possible to connect TWO units at the same time on the N5?

interesting question possibley a stupid one

hello everyone i have question or maybe an idea for a talented dev i was wondering if it is possible to emulate a key fob (for a car alarm) using a windows mobile phone
Not the standard 433MHz transmitter.
But it would be possible to achieve similar with Bluetooth. Then you have to integrate a bluetooth receiver into your car alarm. Using serial communication you would then transmit lock/unlock commands. It would also be possible to auto-pair when in range and unlock the car automatically.

Click to collapse
All thing are very "Techi" to me but if it possible then its defiantly proud to be WM user.
Anyway is it working with any other handsets...?
The Chevy Volt is suppossed to have an iPhone and BlackBerry app that will allow that, so yes its definitely possible. But their sollution may rely on 3G connectivity on both ends, I'm not sure.
" But their sollution may rely on 3G connectivity on both ends, I'm not sure."
if that is the case then the car would have to have a sim card too
otherwise you don't get a 3g connection more likely it's wifi based
In theory, you could use one of the phones with a USB port, with an adapter to 433 MHz to read in the pairing, then re-pair with a car.
But directly pair with a standard car-fob arrangement without additional hardware, no.

app for bluetooth heart rate monitor

Is there any app that have stopwatch and can connect bluetooth (or throught any other interface) heartrate monitor to smartwatch without having a phone in proximity? I dont have SW but ability to use it as sportwatch is the only thing I need to get it instead of akwardly looking Omate TrueSmart.

Polar Wearlink+ Bleutooth

Does anyone use Polar Wearlink+ Bluetooth (http://www.polar.com/en/products/accessories/Polar_WearLink_transmitter_with_Bluetooth) with Nexus 4?
I have problem with connection. Sometimes N4 see Polar IWL in bluetooth manager, but rarely. When I paired then POLAR does not connecting with N4 and does not work in any sportstracking app.

[Q] Fitness/Heart rate monitor bluetooth low power working with the Sensation?

Hi guys,
I've been looking to get a heart rate monitor to use with the Runtastic apk.
I've noted that most of the devices requires Android 4.3 or newer and low energy Bluetooth (V4)
https://www.runtastic.com/shop/en/runtastic-bluetooth-smart-combo-heart-rate-monitor
http://www.polar.com/en/products/accessories/H7_heart_rate_sensor
Do you know if any of these devices is compatible with the HTC Sensation?
What device do you use?
Any suggestion to get a good device for less than 40 EUR/50 US$?
Thanks
Polar WearLink should work - requires Bluetooth 2.0.

Possible to connect external HR monitor to Gear S3?

Is it possible to connect an external HR sensor like the Wahoo Tickr to the Gear S3 using either Bluetooth or ANT+?
On samungs Web page it says that theres no ant+ radio on the watch. :crying:
So isn't there somebody that have tested the watch with a Bluetooth hrm?
Interested on that as well. As the watch doesn't have ANT+, it can only connect to Garmin compatible HR using the watch (less ideal, need watch on person). As for BT HR, not sure - in the watch menu, one can only find connecting to headset, not HR bands...
If there is no provisioning for external HR input, even if you connect with a Bluetooth HR band, there will not be any communication to it. From what we know, the only Bluetooth devices the S3 talks to are your phone and wireless headphones.
Sent from a TMo V20
I would also like to pair my Wahoo Tickr X with my Gear S3.
Are there any custom roms in which the developers could add this functionality?
I sold my Gear S3, it is not good for fitness purposes unfortunately, so bad!
