[Q] Fitness/Heart rate monitor bluetooth low power working with the Sensation? - HTC Sensation

Hi guys,
I've been looking to get a heart rate monitor to use with the Runtastic apk.
I've noted that most of the devices requires Android 4.3 or newer and low energy Bluetooth (V4)
https://www.runtastic.com/shop/en/runtastic-bluetooth-smart-combo-heart-rate-monitor
http://www.polar.com/en/products/accessories/H7_heart_rate_sensor
Do you know if any of these devices is compatible with the HTC Sensation?
What device do you use?
Any suggestion to get a good device for less than 40 EUR/50 US$?
Thanks

Polar WearLink should work - requires Bluetooth 2.0.

[Q] Turn on only Bluetooth LE

We all know that standard Bluetooth take some juice out of our phones. With the new Bluetooth 4.0 and more specific Low Energy, is it possible to only turn on the Low energy part of the bluetooth module, or is it "too deep" in the system. I have a Galaxy S3.
If only Bluetooth LE was turned on it could be turned on all day with not problem.

b/t heart rate monitor?

Has anyone found a heart rate monitor that will communicate with free Android GPS programs like sports-tracker on an infuse?
When I look at the cheap heart-rate monitors that are claimed to be blue-tooth compatible,I see many customers with problems finding a combination of phone, app, and blue-tooth enabled heart rate monitor that worked together.

Bluetooth 4.x | Bluetooth Low Energy | Bluetooth Smart

Hi all
Has anybody a idea why google implement the Bluetooth Low Energy standard so late? (since android 4.3)
I think dependent on this reason many apps are currently not support BLE

[Q] Connect TWO BLE devices simultaniously?

I use Endomondo as work out app.
Currently using a Polar BT Smart heart rate monitor, and would like to connect another Bluetooth Smart/LE unit (a cadence censor). Anybody knows if it´s possible to connect TWO units at the same time on the N5?

[Q] Any users on here that own a Pioneer Appradio?

I'm looking for feedback/reviews/opinions on the latest Pioneer Appradio 4 as I'm interested in replacing my current dated GPS system in my car with a "smarter" system that can easily connect to my phone (Note 3) and enable the following 3 main functions:
BT streaming to play music from my phone, receive and make calls
Be able to run Google Maps or Waze from my phone and just use these from the device without having to keep my phones' screen on (so via BT essentially, not necessarily via cable as I hate loose cables in my car)
At least 4V pre amp outs for my upgraded stereo system
Connection for my existing rear view camera
I don't care so much about mirroring my phone to the device.
It appears that the Appradio meets the requirements above, but I'm interested in users opinions as well for its pros and cons.
Thanks in advance!
