8sms - mms

Hi!
I have a question about 8sms app.
I am wonderin if it is possible that 8sms app could automatically enable mobile data when sending and receiving mms, because I have mobile data disabled by default.
Till now I only found that texting app Textra can do that, but I prefere stock-like sms app outlook.
I am using Cyanogenmod 11.

[Q] Cyanogenmod sms app not sending?

Hi everyone,
I am running the cm11 nightlys. Hangouts works just fine and so does hello sms and others that I've grabbed from the play store. Thing is, that I really like the holo glass theme, and the only sms app that the theme works with is the cyanogenmod sms app. Since it didn't come with the rom I just got cyanogenmod apps from the play store and downloaded the sms app from there. For some reason I can't send messages from it though... I can view my incoming and outgoing messages (that I've sent or received with other sms apps), but can't actually send from within the cm messaging app. Any idea why or how to fix. Thanks!

Can't send MMS on CM based roms

I can't seem to send MMS text messages on any app but the default Messaging texting app. On CM12 bacon, I can only send MMS with the default Messaging app, but if I use Google's Messenger or Hangouts, I can't send MMS and only SMS. I also experienced the same issue on JFLTEATT CM12. On the S4 CM12, I could only send MMS on the default Messaging app, but when I used a GPE rom, I could send MMS on any texting app.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Does anyone know if the CM Messaging app changes APNs so that it can send MMS, while the other texting apps down?

google messenger group settings

I have problem.. my friend has the same version of OPO and app and he has different settings.
we are both on 5.0.2 (12.0-YNG1TAS17L) using Messenger_1.3.030 (1885066-38)
i dont have group messanger settings and he does

MMS issue with Google Messenger on T-Mobile

Hi there, I have looked at this thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3518328) but doesn't seem to provide a resolution. I thought I'd repost with my issue.
I am on T-Mobile and have the Honor 8 FRD-L14 US 64gb version. I prefer using Google Messenger for Texting and MMS but am having issues with MMS. I checked APN settings (tried various settings found online, restored original settings, etc). When I send or receive MMS messages using Google Messenger, I get the whole Downloading...then error downloading. When I switch to the default stock Honor Messaging App, it works with no issue.
Has anyone else successfully get the MMS working with Google Messenger?

Same problem on AT&T with ATT-approved APNs with Android 7 on the L04.
