[Q] [URGENT] USB Issues

So, i had my phone with the MIUI rom but i wasn't really liking because it was a little slow, so i flashed Kyrillos 9.5
After i flashed Kyrillos 9.5 i start having some battery issues, i was thinking that it was some problem of the ROM so i went away to flash another ROM, but ODIN didn't detected my phone, i upgraded the drivers and nothing.
My last try was to flash a rom by the update.zip method.
It didn't ended well and now i can't use the phone at all, it just stucks at bootloading.
If someone can help me to get my phone working again it would really help because i can't even use it.
PS: Sorry for my english.

Try to write another ROM on your sdcard(for example CM7a8.1) and install it from recovery

Yeah, take your Micro SD out and put another update.zip on it. Then go into recovery hold Volume Up+Volume Down+Home and Power. Flash ROM and hopefully it'll work

Trying changing USB ports or rebooting your pc

follow bscrazes advice, try other usb ports and then reboot your pc and try again, if that doesnt work still;
enter recoverymode (hold down both volume keys, power button and center button) then go to mounts and storage and choose usb mass storage device.
then plug it into your computer, it should just recognise it as a mass storage device, from here open folders and place a good update zip on it. suggested cm7a8.1
then apply update from zip.
this should work,
if you get errors doing this reply here and we shall try help

Though I'm giving the advice a bit late try the following
first uninstall all samsung stuff (even drivers) from your computer.
Then as Jason-EX said install usb drivers for samsung mobile
If you are unable to get to recovery try the following:
When the phone is powered off press power,volume down and home button simultaneously (now you should directly enter download mode)
connect it to computer now odin will recognise your phone
Flash some stable rom or kernel
I had the same problem once and this procedure worked
For the driver - http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/MOBILES/Samsung/SAMSUNG-USB-Driver-1480.shtml (if at all windows doesn't download it)

if u hav all the drivers installed and still ur phone cant b detected in download mode ...den u gotta usb problm buddy...try changing the usb cable or try in different ports ...that might work.

[Q] Help me to Update to ICS

My Friend have Optimus 3D p920 with Android 2.2.
Just now i rooted with SuperoneClick and flashed CWM Touch Recovery.
Now i want to install ics.

No bro keep the cable as it is just download ics and then the drivers in the flashing thread any other drivers won't work .so uninstall current drivers then install the drivers in the thread...after that download LG flash tool and crack it then take out the battery and simcard memory ..and hold volume up and connect the cable then keep holding the volume up and count 3 seconds and put the battery in u should see s/w on your device in Korean release the volume up..this is called download mode now go to device manager and change the port to com41 then disconnect the device and open LG flash tool and choose only the bin file and download the DLL update file for your device and select as well and hit OK. Then change the LG flash tool port settings ( just watch the pictures in the flashing tutorial) after that hit the arrow button and u should see a ready sign ..then just put you phone in download mode and it will start flashing automatically it will stop at 80% -85% that's OK then the device will boot ice then just flash the base and ( fls) that works for your country

Fisrt Welcome to our forum ,, I hope you will see what you want .
you are new , you must understand many things before that .
1- this tool you are using is to solve problems or update phones .
But "LG Optimus 3D" did not has an official ICS rom so the developer "xbsall" port it from "su760" it's the korean version of our phones.
2- This program will put the system in your phone any way and it will work with it . BUT WITH OUT a signal .
3- To get signal you must the baseband that is work with your country.
4- your phone will enter "S/W Upgrade mode" some called it "download mode" or "emergency mode" ... in this mode the phone will connect with the PC and then you can copy the system into it by lg flash tool .
5- when your phone in "S/W Upgrade mode" your PC can't recognize it so you must install drivers .
6- after your phone enter the s/w mode and the PC detect it . And lg flash tool is ready . Then you can flash your new rom ICS.
Any question ,, we are waiting for it ..
About the dtails do what "alphatia" said . No need to repeat
At first you will see it hard because it is too messy .
But after you do it you will see it too easy

i took the battery.

But nothing showing s/w version in Korean.
Also,It shows usb device not recognized.

Your phone in your hand without any thing :-
1- pull out the battery .
2- Press and hold vol+ button and keep holding
3- connect the phone with PC and you are holding vol+
4- the phone is connected with PC and you are holding vol+ .
Insert the battery . While you are holding vol+ . And it is connected

1- open device manager
2- right click on the not recognized
3- update drivers
4- navigate into the driver folder

It still got bugs, if its your gf's phone just leave it at 2.3, its great and available everywhere since months. Then root with Dan rosenberg's app, flash a custom rom for ginger bread and you're good to go. My advice

I can't able to install LGE CDMA USB SERIAL PORT.

At last I got this step,S/W version in Korean language by using this tool.

1.Then I changed the port to 41.
2.Disconnected the mobile.
3.Opened the lg Flash tool and set to Ready position.
4.Plugged the mobile while pressing the volume up.
lg flash tool not flashing my mobile.
But in Device manager it shows my mobile was in connected port 41.

[Q] Help me.. My Lg optimus one p500.. BRICKED ???

On instalation with kdz file show me KDz Error and i ll removed a battery in emergency mode....And now my phone won't turn on..

There is an emergency mode you can try as long as you have the software on your computer to flash factory settings on to your phone.
Toemergency mode:
1) Take out the battery
2) Have a usb cable already connected to the computer.
3) Hold the power button + volume up + back button AND then connect the usb while holding those buttons
Yellow screen will appear with the words emergency mode in the middle.
At this point, do some forum searching, find some kind of stock image file and LG program to flash stock system on to the phone.
**I DONT OWN THIS DEVICE** but i had a few cases and this should work for you too

Thanks Buudy for this but is no worked i do it that....my phone still won't turn on
My PC don't a find any usb cable from the phone..in the device menager in PORTS show me UKNOWN USB !
i can't connect a phone on PC
i have several android softwares...
i think a instalation is not complete on my phone and i wanna find some TOOL program for Clean a not completed instalation...
maybe in the phone hardware is broken processor...but i don't sure for that... .
Give me some tool for clean a not completed instaltion.... BC wipe is a for parchase 20$ Some FREE if u Know...
Or something other instruction for a connect phone to the PC...

Your device is hard-bricked. Your only bet in LG. Go to LG and tell them you turned it off, and now it doesn't start up

That thing happened to my phone a year ago. You can't do nothing at home. Go to a service.

help| hard bricked my h830 after trying to flash another rom..

i rooted my phone and i wanted to switch rom for it,i flashed h850 rom rebooted device and it wont boot...i figured im on qualcomm 9008 mode in my computer so what can i do?

Put it into download mode and restore the device via LGUP+TOT file, or if you made a backup, just reboot into recovery and restore your backup...

You probably didnt understand me well.. I cant put it in any mode...it wont turn on on any condition..

You said you rebooted twice, that tells me the device powers on, therefore, by doing a battery pull, holding the recovery or download mode button combos and powering up should get you into the desired mode. IF its not powering on at all:
1. Try charging the battery externally and try again.
2. See if the device is being recognized by a pc, if so there is hope that resting the device and trying again may work or we can see what mode it is in via adb/fastboot to get the device into a recoverable mode.

The computer recognizes my device as qualcomm 9008

I have the same problem. My phone is dead only shows Qualcomm 9008.

Silly... If it's not for your phone why would you flash it??? Might have to wait for the official kdz from lg assuming you can some how get it into download mode. Or simply use your insurance for a new device. Expensive lesson learned

Maybe you can try the lg mobile support tool, since a tot file is available LG may have the stock kdz file available now, so try the recovery option for the mobile support tool.

Pretty sure that Qualcomm message thing is the true hard brick...

This might sound stupid and it is usually for devices which have problems turning on or similar. I think is better to try anything that not trying all the options.
Why dont you try removing the battery, then close the module part without the battery. Press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds. then release it. then put the batttery back on and try to make it boot into download mode. Chances are slim but the chance still there. This worked with my Samsung galaxy s5 after i flashed a rom that claimed to be for all models including the tmobile version when it clearly was for the g900f version . and i decided to try what i have done with other types of electronics and it worked.

Just tried on my phone. No go. Still dead. Trying lg repair. Hope I can get it fixed and not cost a arm and a leg.

I've not read through these all the way, but if the PC sees it at all, it's not truly bricked... It might just be a pain in the ... to get it fixed. Those 2 links are good starting points for you. I hope you get this resolved.

I have the same error... My LG g5 H860 no turn on only connect in the PC on mode Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9800.
Any idea or solution to resolve this?

same issue just that my lgg5 tm is stuck on the firmware update for trying to root via lgup/tot file now not even lg bridge reads the phone it wants to then it says can not odetect nothin has worked

Problem with Panasonic Eluga Switch software and Download Mode

Hello, i have an Alcatel Idol 3 5,5 (6045) and i decided to root it, so installed all that i needed (drivers, adb ..). But the problem is that i need to unlock the OEM thing, so i need to flash my smartphone to its original stock ROM, so i downloaded the Panasonic Eluga Switch one (which is a rebranded idol 3) and launched it, but the problem it seem that my device CAN'T load in download mode, i tried anything :
Uninstalling/Reinstalling all drivers
Executing the software as administrator
Executing the software with Windows XP compatibility mode
The volume + and - and USB method
The ADB method, it worked for anything else (rebooting in fastboot and recovery mode) but it won't work for the download one, it just reboot normally, i don't know why all is exactly correct, i tested with MTP and PTP usb modes, and in two differents windows, and nothing worked at all.
Please, is someone have the solution to boot my stupid idol 3 on download mode i would be grateful to him. Cordially.

You don't Know how to go to Download Mode...
Just Turn off the device ..Press Volume UP AND DOWN AND POWER BUTTON AND THEN JUST CONNECT with usb and you will get RED SCREEN just press VOLUME UP until You will get Black Screen

Hi, i forgot it but its not actually my smartphone, but my friend one. And i use teamviewer to help with stuff, we did the USB method many time and he told me that it didn't work, no matter what he does

Yes i know, but we need first to get in the download mode, ur indications helping us but the problem is that i'm not sure about one step :
Does he need to maintain VOLUME UP, DOWN and POWER at the same time while plugging the USB cable ? Or just maintain them, wait for the idol 3 to start and after plugging the USB cable before it load the system ? Thanks in advance. (excuse me for my poor english)

The screen remains black in download mode, aftsr you get the red screen(volume up/down and power) then volume up screen will go black and remain black, that is normal behavior...

fix this issue by me thank you
