Walkman Application is Replaced By Music
Sony Mobile updated the version of its Walkman application earlier today moving the build number to 9.0.0.A.0.1
Sony explains that “The Walkman app is changing its name to Music – because that’s what it is all about”.
Walkman application which moves the build number from 8.5.A.3.3 to version 9.0.0.A.0.1.
The New update now allows Android Wear users to view songs within their synchronized playlist and to start playback from any song in a playlist.

Thanks for this : Tried to install it on a G3 D855 on 4.4.2 and it says "not installed". Have you ani idea why ? A limitation from Sony ? In the past there wasn't any limitation like this and the version works well on my Z3 ...

The problem is that I'm not rooted and not planning to on the G3 because it needs to go on aftersale for crack near the mic and infrared port. And they can refuse if the device is rooted, so I rather prefer avoid it before.
On the 8.x version it works like a charmn but since v9, not anymore ...

This is the result I get. I'm on stock rooted 290 fw, ul bootloader, Doomkernel v4. When I flash the zip it forcecloses the launcher when I try to set the widget, and when I try to manual install it says "cannot be installed".

Here is second version of the transparent mod. It's still a test version so you can try it and give me some feedback. Meanwhile i've solved the FC bug, you need to delete the stock weather widget found in system>app and then flash my mod again

It works! The last to be installed need to be the launcher or it will not work throw an error about google search... If that happens to you after install google search and play services install the launcher.

If that doesn't work -> unistall all these apps and install G Services next G Now and then G Launcher...
- setup the G Now and restrart It can works
- if you can't setup G Now try change language for Google Voice Search in settings and then you can comlete it Enjoy!

FIX
Long press the home screen, select Settings. Select Voice. Select Language to change the default. Change to another language, I choose English – UK. Hit Home. Do a Google Search. Repeat the first three steps. Change back to English – US.

Because it's using flash . Flash is part of the camera. Android system haven't a different permission for flash. If you don't trust you can scan it by the antivirus :thumbup:

I am developing it for better than standard. But application is beta version and its design not compatible with material design. If you want to use it , i think you should wait update to V1.5 . I am developing it and i will do my best . believe me it will be better than standard and other torch apps , 3-4 months later (i know it is very long time) i will publish the app on play

Because it's using flash . Flash is part of the camera. Android system haven't a different permission for flash. If you don't trust you can scan it by the antivirus :thumbup:

Lol they should really rename permissions or have something to make them a bit more specific. Many unknowing users assume the worst when they see stuff like this

App needs these permissions : internet and camera (internet for the ads) camera for the flash

In the music app, when choosing another song in the queue, it plays the song but the now playing screen shows the previous song.

Same here, the now playing screen updates the song after 10-15 seconds.
