This is the result I get. I'm on stock rooted 290 fw, ul bootloader, Doomkernel v4. When I flash the zip it forcecloses the launcher when I try to set the widget, and when I try to manual install it says "cannot be installed".

Here is second version of the transparent mod. It's still a test version so you can try it and give me some feedback. Meanwhile i've solved the FC bug, you need to delete the stock weather widget found in system>app and then flash my mod again

I have stock 2.3.6 XXKPQ with UtterChaos v09 #2009,CWM Touch the newest version and thats all. I press the home button but I have only this things, I download from Play Store(MagicLocker, ICS Launcher and Touch Wizz)and I don't have apps from this thread in App List

Does not work....
i downloaded the file from link u have posted and put it in external sd card,boot into recovery,then install update from sd card,when install is complete i rebooted my phone through cwm,bt it does not work even i tried home button to select xperia s launcher bt there is no option of it,,me using amit"s cf root...

Install Zip from sd card not update.. Clear caches..and reboot..
might help..

I hope u followed these steps..
put in root of ur sd..cwm.. install zip from sd..choose and install...
clear both caches..or extract from zip..the home.apk.. put it in system/apps using root explorer and set permission as rrr-w...
and reboot..dont do anything with tw launcher..leave it as it is.
try hope it works.
i hope deodexed or odexed isnt an issue...

just a few bugs in this one,like walkman widget and app labels disappear sometimes. @Sahaab- mind porting recent calls widget as well?
Edit : another bug from mdpi screen
The delete home screen and make home screen corners aren't visible, though they function, it just shows two white box

Installation process:
-) download the apk
-) copy the apk to your sdcard
-) with a root capable explorer copy the apk first to /system
-) rename the apk to its original name (without my mod-extensions on the beginning)

-) set owner and group to root
-) move the apk-file now from system to system/app and replace the original one (or rename the original to .bak before)
-) if there is also an odex-file with same name delete it (or rename it to .bak)

Dont know slimsaber, if all system apps are resigned there than you have to resign the modded apk also with the same cert for working ....

I have problem with 100% transparent w/o night effects on NB3 with MOD442_SecLauncher4_5x6Grid_noMagazine_withoutresign.
There is a line trough date.

Date is wrong placed there, dont know why (will try nb3,nb4 in the next few days) ....

Icon Changer Free
Accuweather widget S5 themed for TW 4.1.2
I've made a themed Accuweather widget themed. The theme is ported from the Galaxy S5.
Changelog V1
- Cloudly background changed (day and night)
- Rain background changed (day and night)
- Snow background changed (day and night)
- Sunny background changed (day and night)
- Widget thumbnail changed
- Default screen changed
Changelog V2
- All backgroud are now resized
- Clock style from S5
- Refresh button from S5
- Lower size of widget (6.4mb > 4.9mb)
Installation
Remplace the old one in /system/app or in /preload ; give rw-r-r permissions and reboot.

Try to put the widget in /preload/symlink/system/app, change permissions and reboot.
Done that but still no luck, what im doing wrong?

Galaxy Note 3 too or Galaxy S4 too....all animations in your widgets meteo when update the weather...

I have tried with the steps given but still couldn't see the widget.Kindly help.I use GT N7000 Stock Jelly bean 4.1.2 DDLSC ROM which is rooted.
Me neather....i have tried both ways (in system and in preload) but still no widget?!

V1 won't work too. Try to delete the .odex file attached to the widget.
